how would someone apply for a job? do you go into stores and ask the person inside or do you have to contact someone else?

so, basically, i'm having issues with the resource pack. i've tried switching from 1.13-1.13.2 to 1.18.2 but it still refuses to work. i have done the %appdata% thing where you go to your minecraft folder, go to resource packs and then remove the files. though, that doesn't help out neither...
