Mrs. Belov has proven to be more of a nuisance than expected. I must commend her, though—her love for her children is rather heartwarming.
However, the ritual cannot be delayed any further. Mr. Belov himself agrees. At midnight tonight, when that veil of protection is slumbering, the third trial will commence.
Both children bear the mark of Many Faces, yet only one possesses the physical constitution to carry this burden. It makes me wonder... just how much she can take before she cracks.
Then again, Mr. Belov has been molding her into a most refined blade. Such physical prowess is sure to enhance the ritual’s effects.
