What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I have a lot of experience with roleplay. I’d been doing it for years before I even discovered the server. It was always a fun thing to do, be able to pretend and play as something you’re not, which is why the server drew me in. Especially since the server is always full of life. I've been on this server for roughly 5 years now, while I did loose my original account a little ways back, I still kept it in my mind until I was able to get a new account. A lot back when I discovered the server, I did many roleplays ranging from animals to gangrp. Its one of my favorite things to just be able to immerse into a character. I feel I have a lot of experience in detail roleplay, considering I write a lot in my free time and love detailing small things. I was a professor for a bit, so I have experience in that aswell when it comes to detailing, planning, and falling perfectly into the role. This server also isn't the only thing I've roleplayed on, I used to play a lot of DND as a kid which I feel helped boost my roleplay abilities as I grew up, and is the origin for my love of roleplaying. I've also done discord type of roleplays, having roleplay servers to play as characters from video games, movies, etc. Where we would create universes of our own, which I feel also just made my detail abilities and immersiveness better and better with time.

What is your motivation for applying?
My motivation for applying is getting to see a side of srp roleplay I haven’t gotten to experience anywhere else. The EMS faction is one built on detail roleplay, or it plays a big part in it, and that’s something I really want to experience. I’ve always enjoyed medical-focused roleplay, and I want to contribute to it for others in an immersive way to bring the game to life. Along with the team, I want to grow within it and learn even more to strengthen my abilities. Not to mention I've always kind of had an interest in the medical field, it's not exactly what I'm pursuing but it's always caught my eye. I also realize it's a faction I don't see much personally, which drew me in even more wanting to experience what it is like to be able to roleplay in the medical field.

Which role are you applying for?
Psychiatrist

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
(This is to gauge at your current understanding of the faction prior to acceptance)

These are kind of the basics I am aware of, I believe they function the same in the actual server as they would in real life.

Character Backstory (Optional):
Geiazelle, born in Munich, Germany. A city she remembers in fragments from her childhood. The ringing of church bells, the winter air, and the soft hum of hospital machines that was basically etched into her brain. Her mother’s illness meant she didn’t spend her free time in playgrounds, she spent it wandering hospital corridors. Over time, those halls became a familiar home to her. She learned to read people early, noticing the tired look in nurses’ eyes, doctors’ voices cracking slightly from tragedy, and patients who clung to hope. Her father, a psychiatrist, often asked her gentle questions, using his work as a form of reflection toward his daughter. He never pushed her to understand why or how the mind functioned the way it did, but she learned anyway. Every night, she could hear him speaking softly to her mother about resilience, fear, not to give up, and reminding her about the strange ways even the hardest illnesses heal. Despite the heaviness around her, Geiazelle was the opposite. She became what others called ‘a burst of color.’ She laughed easily, had a bright smile with an almost ringing sound following her voice that startled adults in the stale hospital rooms around her. She spoke highly of those she didn’t even know, sometimes visiting other patients to give them further gratitude. As a small child, she had a way of making people feel seen.
Yet her efforts towards others didn’t bring good luck to her. When her mother passed away, the world seemed to tilt. Munich, the once comforting place she called home, became a landscape of ghosts. Every small detail, from streets to windows, reflected a loss she didn’t know how to comprehend. Her father grieved more than she did, but he was also determined. He wanted to protect what remained of their small family, so he accepted a new position in Karakura. The move was sudden, barely giving time for Geiazelle to process the funeral before she was yanked somewhere her mother’s absence didn’t linger. Karakura felt like the opposite of the world she had known. It had color, vibrant streets, language that felt like poetry that Geiazelle only got to see in books. At ten years old, she arrived as an outsider in this unknown city, but her vibrant personality didn’t keep her that way. Her laughter remained unchanged, becoming a bridge into this new life she was adapting to live. She was straightforward, but her honesty was never cruel. Her peers found themselves drawn to her, some of them unable to explain why.
As she grew, her outward joy remained, but beneath it developed a sharp, perceptive mind. She was able to notice things others overlooked: Subtle shifts in someone’s expression, nervous habits, the way one’s voice would change while lying, and how easily someones behavior could change based on one word. The way she grew up in Munich had shaped her into an observer of anything and everything, and Karakura seemed to give her the space to refine it. By the time she entered university, psychology felt less like a choice to pick and more like a calling she had to lean toward. She pursued her degree with determination, her father’s knowledge over the years only made that process much easier. She wasn’t top of her class or a star student, but she had that intuitive understanding of people outside of textbooks and memorization. She lived through it for 10 years, watched how grief and illness broke her family, seen how easily the mind could give up under the pressure.
After she graduated with her bachelor’s degree, she set her mind toward becoming a psychiatrist just like her father. She lacked proper medical training or medical experience, but she also knew she spent more time in hospitals than many other students. She understood how they functioned, the weight of the simple atmosphere carried, and the desperation that lingered everywhere.
Some underestimated her at first glance. Her laughter made her life seem carefree, her honesty made her seem simple, and her warmth made her appear unguarded. It didn’t matter to her, because those who cared enough to look closer knew the truth. She was resilient, perceptive, and far more complex than everyone assumed she was. She wasn’t naive, she just didn’t feel the need to shout her problems to the world. Now, she stands at the point of her possible future. She wants to put her skills to use, take her knowledge of both worlds and help people find their way through the shadows.

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
(Ensure this is appropriate to the position you have chosen. Some examples can be found here)

Preventive medicine and Psychiatry (Mainly Psychiatry)
“I chose to focus on preventive medicine and psychiatry. I chose these because my childhood taught me how closely the body and mind mix, and how much suffering could be avoided if people got help before reaching a breaking point. Growing up in my city’s hospitals while my mother battled illness, maybe she could have seen how an early intervention might have changed the course of her life. At the same time, watching my father work as a psychiatrist showed me the quiet power of understanding the emotional weight that a lot of people carry. I feel like these shaped my beliefs that true healing begins long before physical symptoms begin to show, and protecting a person’s well-being means caring for both their physical and mental health.”

Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
None
“While I don’t have direct medical experience, I feel I basically grew up in a hospital with how often I was there, not to mention again with my dad teaching me a bunch of things. The onyl real somewhat medical experience I would say is just my studies and time spent in the hospital back in Germany, but of course I am willing and ready to learn!”

SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?

1773694259310.png
Geiazelle is presented as a statuesque German woman, standing at 5'1" with soft, wavy white hair and light brown eyes. Her saturated tan hints at a life spent outdoors. Geia's personality was vibrant, with a straightforward nature and a melodious laughter that filled the room with infectious joy. Her jovial exterior reveals a sharp mind, contrasting the vision others create of her. Geiazelle is unique because she blends a bright, joyful presence with a depth of perception not many expect. Her warmth is shaped by her loss and her time spent observing human behavior so closely. Others tend to see her as someone who brings ease into a room. Shes approachable, genuine, and grounded. To most, she becomes the person they feel they can open up to.

How does your character act around the hospital?

Usually keeps to herself, but at any opportunity will take time to chat with her coworkers. She enjoys getting to know those around her and making everyone feel as comfortable as possible in her presence. She can be found sometimes wandering the halls, checking in on patients or simply just glancing around at the interior. Almost all the time, she has a smile pasted onto her face when she isn't busy. She appears rather relaxed and upkept with her posture and duties.

Does your character function better on their own or with others?
She functions well on her own, but she becomes more dynamic around others. Solitude helps her process, observe, and think with clarity. Yet social environments bring out her intuition, warmth, and vibrant energy that makes people trust her. She isn’t dependent on others for stability, but she can move comfortably between the two.
