General Appearance
Appearance: Mino is slim and pale, standing at about 5’10”, with yellow-hazel eyes accompanied by dark bags. Her clothing is loose and gloomy, hiding a majority of their figure, but they can’t weigh more than 125lbs. He seems to wear a constant smile, with their long black hair obscuring most of their features, and a soft voice that makes him a bit hard to hear, at times. With an androgynous appearance, it’s a bit difficult to figure out their gender from afar, and their voice isn’t much help, either.
Personality: Generally, Mino is a very kind and gentle person at heart. She’ll talk to whoever talks to her first, though he rarely chooses to strike up a conversation on his own unless he truly considers the person a close friend. With most of their time being spent in a fantasy world in their own head, any time outside of it is spent wandering the real world gullible and dazed, which is why her sister rarely parts from her. If he’s too far from his sister, and not accompanied by another close friend, she reverts to sitting in a quiet, dark place and sketching until someone texts or finds them. The only time she’s shown anything other than a calm, happy face is when she’s distressed or infatuated. Very few people see those expressions, however.

Backstory:
Born to a loving family in Hokkaido, Mino & Ritsu Mitsuyo were two lovely little twins, their parents’ pride and joys who both showed interest and even impressive skill in art starting at the ages of five. As the twins were growing up, however, Mino began acting strangely. Around the age of thirteen, he started spending his days drawing made-up fantasy worlds with beautiful flowers, creatures, and landscapes, going as far as locking himself into his room just to spend longer daydreaming. The only person who could ever snap him out of it was Ritsu, and it ended up hindering his schoolwork and daily life. He would spend hours on his phone in his bedroom, drawing and listening to music while blocking out any outside stimuli.
Once the twins turned eighteen, Mino was still struggling to keep himself focused on the real world, and their parents had finally had enough of it. They begged Ritsu to take Mino to Karakura for the rest of their senior year and college, because it hurt to have little to no connection with one of their beloved kids, and they couldn't handle having them in the house anymore. But as soon as they left their city, Mino began getting...better? During the trip, they really tried to engage with Ritsu, showing her their sketchbook and being open about the things he sees and feels day-to-day. It turns out he spent most of his days maladaptive daydreaming to cope with their parents' "tough love", as well as their own issues and stress on top of it. But leaving their family home seemed to ease his mind a little, despite her daydreams persisting, and they’re adjusting quite well to life in Karakura.
