Question about rule 4.4

Rule 4.4 states that "You cannot be older, or younger than your IC age."

I'm really confused on what this means and also why. I'm 18 irl so my character has to be 18 also?

I'm fine w that-- I just think it's odd. I feel like revealing your age on the internet is a little inappropriate for minors ;-;

Hey, that's not what the rule means. For example, if you have a 14 year old character in game you can't pretend they're 30. Or if you have a 18 year old character you can't pretend they're 20, you just need to stick with whatever your role says. Hope that helps
