Appearance:
As per someone who would be a Muslim or anyone from the gulf nations, Asfa wears a hijab, which is a black one, and usually never is seen without it. It’s usually fresh smelling and never is dirty. Her clothes usually change from time to time, but they usually seem to be consistent with the covering of her legs and her arms, usually never showing skin.

In terms of her frame, Asfa has a toned body and it seems to have a few marks possibly from abuse from her family, but they aren’t really shown as much. Her skin is a fine tan when seen in those rare moments when she does show some skin.

Personality:
Asfa is someone who likes to keep to herself, and is usually serious, and quiet. She isn’t particularly fond of talking to others unless talked to first. If she feels like it, she will socialize, and attempt to make an effort to talk to others. She usually stares at other people when they spark her curiosity, but when they stare back, she looks away to avoid any unneeded attention.

When she is asked about her life, she will usually tell some basic details, but don’t seem so proud about it, nor boasts about it. Her family she usually avoids talking about unless really pressed about it, in which annoys her deeply and doesn’t really earn much respect from her. She does seem to really connected to her faith however, and will usually take great offense when someone mocks it and traditions.

Try imagining an Arab or Gulf States woman, particularly an Iraqi Arab who was born and grew up in Bahrain, and mix together the two arabics, and you get that.

Clothes:
The clothes she’s wearing on her skin right now, a burqini, a western non-muslim style female buisness suit that she sometimes wears in formal events.

Hobbies:
Asfa enjoys literature, and usually dives into the genres of Mystery, Horror and seems to be a fan of H. P. Lovecraft. She also appears to be into Fantasy novels. She is very interested in Chess, Checkers, Mahjong and Card Games.

Serious Problems/Flaws/Addictions/Disorders/Disabilities:
Asfa seems to have a huge problem with her family, and doesn’t seem extremely proud to actually display it. The biggest problem she has is that she wants to live a normal life, but feels like the whole world is out to get her just because of where she is from and what she believes in. This is a usual serious problem that she faces whenever she goes somewhere, and she finds this a problem that she wants to overcome. She wants to live in a place where she feels safe, not only from abuse, but from the harassment from people mocking her based on what she is.

Skills:
Asfa has very good management skills, and usually doesn’t like keeping disorganized. She also seems to be extremely good at Mathematics, Science, History and Politics.

Quirks:
Asfa usually thinks out loud to herself very often, and usually look like she’s talking to herself a bunch.

Asfa is also a massive neat-freak and a germophobe, usually always freaking out whenever someone says she smells, or anything like thar, as she showers three times a day, and washes her clothes twice a week.

Family:
Ali Ibn Fatiti al-Qasimid - Ancestor
Jamal ibn Hameed al-Qasim - Father
Hasana ibnt Malik al-Qasim - Mother
Abdul ibn Jamal al-Qasim - Older Brother
Saamir ibn Jamal al-Qasim - Older Brother
Rashaad ibn Jamal al-Qasim - Younger Brother

Backstory:
Asfa was born on the 16th of April to a wealthy family that was headed by Jamal Hameed al-Qasim. The family, which originally was from Iraq, was operated as a major corporation that spanned throughout the Middle East. However, following the outbreak of the Kuwait War, Jamal saw himself leave his home country due to the shift of the dynamics of Saddam Hussein, and persecution of the Shi’a populations at whole. He would move to Bahrain where the ruins of his corporation would happen as much of his revenue was blown up into fires during said operation. He would marry a Baharna Woman by the name of Hasana, and would go on to have four children, Abdul, Saamir Asfa and Rashaad. Although life was perfect for him having boys, that one girl just had to pop out of her womb, Asfa.

Asfa would grow up being pretty much neglected by her father, with her younger brother receiving even more attention than she did. While her brothers were all being egotistical about inheriting their father's legacy, Asfa was a notable exception, and did not pursue the same dreams as them, rather, rather focusing on studying and becoming smarter, especially pursuing her academics and remained isolated from her family’s shena****ns as much as she could. She, like the rest of her family, was home-schooled and didn’t really had a chance to see the outside world all too much.

Despite her best efforts, Jamal saw Asfa as a failure, and someone who just got in his way. Although she was arranged to be married off to one of the sons of his best friend’s sons, Asfa would not accept being treated like this, and would get into a fight with her father. Her older brother, Saamir, who neared the age of eighteen, begun to grow closer with Asfa, and understood her pain. Even going as far to apologizing to her for all the mistreatment that Abdul caused for her. He would offer to take her with him to move to Karakura, and she would accept this offer. At the age of 10, Asfa would move with him there, and would live there since, but not really interact with anyone. Asfa wouldn’t have that vast wealth that the rest of her family had, but she did have enough to start out with thanks to her brother’s assistance to at least get her some new clothes and a new fresh life.

Other Notes:
Other than her and her brother, the rest of her family aren't active nor interested in Karakura. So don't worry about it.

- Changed first name from Abu-Bakr to Ali for her ancestor. Abu-Bakr is big no no in Shi'a sect as a name. (Refer to Battle of the Camel)
