Description:
Kenichi would stand at 6’3, with jet black hair. His two most noticeable features being his eye-patch and then the rose tattoos that go up both of his arms. Kenichi would have a muscular, mesomorphic build, which was well-proportioned. He’d be extremely blunt, either answering in one word, or attempting to even dismiss the conversation.

Personality:
Kenichi would seem to have a very blunt attitude, if it could be done in one motion, he’ll do it. He seemingly wants to get everything over and done with. Yet this is simply a performance, in reality, Kenichi is an extremely intelligent individual, who tends to always be one step ahead of the game.

Backstory:
Born in Kobe, Japan. Kenichi was probably destined to end up wound into this Yakuza mess, seeing as Kobe was actually the origin of the first ever Yakuza. Kenichi was born into the ‘Matsumoto’ Clan, at the time was a very influential clan within the main ‘Yakuza’ syndicate. They still are till this day. Yet due to some issues along the path, we learn that Kenichi will somehow end up in Karakura. As a child though, Kenichi was brought up into a fighting-background. His older brother, Sato Matsumoto, having heavy anger issues, meant that Kenichi had to learn to defend himself from the barrage of anger his brother would send him.


Sato and Kenichi had grown a heavy brotherly bond, yet due to Sato not actually being born into the clan, he did not live the same life that Kenichi did, this is where their paths depart a little bit. Kenichi within the Matsumoto clan, was known as a child prodigy for his outstanding intelligence. Soon after, the clan had realised Sato’s brawn, and figured they could use him as a weapon in order to fight through territories. Sato was later partnered with Kenichi, being known as the ‘Matsumoto Brothers’ from the time out.


Kenichi was tasked with carrying out business, whilst Sato was to guard him. One night, in a local ‘China Town’, Kenichi was meant to talk business with another Yakuza group, who fancied themselves ‘top dogs’ of the area. It got heated, to a point where even Kenichi felt endangered, and so he took out his pistol, and shot a man in the head. This ended up being the largest massacre known in Yakuza history. Sato and Kenichi ended up in a massive shootout, and ended up with a badly hurt Sato, and a soon to be punished Kenichi.


During Sato’s recovery, Kenichi underwent what was known by the Matsumoto Clan as the ‘Black Room’. In which, Kenichi was tortured, left in a completely black room and starved to near death. Instead of proceeding in Yubitsume, they had felt that it was too little of a punishment. And so, Kenichi’s left eye was gouged out, and he was sentenced to work a simple Yakuza money making job in Karakura. This was not only a painful journey, yet a humiliating one.


Sato was now out of recovery, joining Kenichi in the same Karakura job, they currently run under the ‘Red Sector’, a sub-branch of the Matsumoto family, well-known for weapons specialists and other illegal items.
