Shop wanted: Shop number five, otherwise known previously as Meyer’s dinner. If I acquire the shop I intend of renaming the it and turning it into something new.

Question One:

Why do you want to own a shop?
First off, I have seen many shops, restaurants, clubs, and convenience stores go out of business because of inactivity or they just don't open. I want to change that, if I am given the opportunity to run this restaurant. As there are many restaurants around Karakura, most of them don't open because of difference in time zones or they are too busy, I want a running and formal restaurant that is open regularly and gives an place where everyone can sit down with their friend and have a meal whilst being entertained.

Also important to mention, I am the former owner of the Night Club, Club Vibe, which now goes by Club Apex, which means I have prior experience and knowledge on running a shop and what should and should not be done. I believe that Karakura needs a restaurant that is formal enough to the point where it isn't the most expensive thing to buy in town, for only a meal and drinks.

Question Two:
What do you plan to do with the shop?
I plan on bringing the restaurant back from it's abandonment, for months, and making it stand for what it really should do, serve the citizens of Karakura a meal they can afford and a place to be with family and friends and just have fun. Many people get bored because nothing is open or they just have nothing to do so they just run around the city waiting for an oppirtunity to come about. I want eliminate this problem, as much as I possibly can, by having somewhere for these citizens to go when a situation like this occurs, which is pretty often.

I also want to improve the stores generally appearance and reputation, I know that sounds cheesy but I will go into more detail in following question.

Question Three:
How will your shop be unique?
If I get the chance to own Meyer;s, I want to change the appearance completely, on the interior and the exterior. I also want to transform it into a speakeasy with a bar.

Exterior:
The whole building in itself is not being used for a while, or it is being used by criminals for somewhere to dump bodies since its abandoned. For the exterior, I plan an remodeling it, keep the entrance way and window, and just making it appear more cleaner and modern.

Interior:
The seating area on its own is too crowded and tiny, which I want to change. I plan on changing the seating area to more of a lounge style, some table for about two to four people and booths along the edges of the restaurant interior. I also plan to minimize the kitchen space to make it more of a bar also adding more room for seating and a small stage in the corner for entertainment, it would be like a speak easy but it would function as a restaurant. I also would have a fit schedule for when the speakeasy is to open on school days, weekends and holidays. I would also host, on the stage, some competitions as in, singing competitions, who is the funniest jokester contests, who has the most clever riddle contest and much more to bring out the fun for Karakura citizens.

Question Four
How many employees are you planning to have?

Unlike most, I won't need a million different people to work at the restaurant. I would hire the best and only the best fit for the job, I wouldn't need more than 10 people working. The role are as follows,

Waiter/Waitresses 3:
I plan on having around three waiters or waitresses, if there's too many of them it won't be easy to get around to the customers and it would just get too crowded. I would have two waiters/waitresses walking around taking orders from people inside. The other would be fetching the food for the waiters/waitresses to bring back to the tables. Once the restaurant has closed for the night and they get of their shifts, I plan on taking at least 25% of what was made.
MANDATORY to wear the given uniform

Bouncer 2:
I intend to have at least two bouncer standing by in case of an emergency. For example, If two of the guests get into a heated argument and it turns violent. I would call the police first then call for the bouncers to break it up and keep them separated until the police arrive on scene to handle the rest. They would be given a certain amount for working, even if nothing happened that night.
MANDATORY to wear the given uniform

Bartender 2:
I plan on only having two bartenders, of legal age. One will be behind the bar, making and serving the drinks to the other bartender. The second will deliver the drinks to the table that has requested said drink. This role will be for citizens 18 years of age or older. As said before, I would collect the total earnings from the bartenders, taking about 25% of their makings.

MANDATORY to wear the given uniform

Performers:
This role is for anyone, when it is open IC'ly, wanting to stand on the stage to enter a contest or perform will be under this. This can be anyone.

Supervisor 1:
Unlike the previous roles, there will be only 1 supervisor. This job is very crucial. The supervisor must make sure everything is running smoothly, announce anything important while making the citizens feel more at home while eating their meals.

MANDATORY to wear the given uniform

[Additional] Question Five
How is your shop going to run smoothly?

First off, I have prior knowledge and experience on how to run a place like this. I want to have it open twice a day, Break time and Dusk, so everyone can enjoy the food and watch live entertainment. I would also host games, movies and other activities so when players get bored, they can have some sort of fun.

Below is the icon the would be associated with the speakeasy.

Uniforms:
Uniforms are required by all workers. Below are the outfits for each gender, all workers must wear their uniform or you will not be able to work that day.

Female:
White top with a red neck tie, plain black skirt and low inch heels. This is for waitresses and bartenders.

Male:
Red suit with a white button up shirt complimented with a black bow tie with black suit pants and designer black shoes. This is for waiters , bartenders and bouncers.

The Backstory of Mooney's Lounge

New York, U.S.A
1920-1929

The Mooney lounge began in the roaring 20’s in America. In 1929, Atticus and his wife Ivy had lost everything and forced them to shut down their lounge. After several miserable attempts to re-open the lounge, they were forced to move from America to start a new life.

Lyon, France
1932

Eventually, Atticus and Ivy had settled in France in 1932, opening up a never before seen lounge in Lyon, France. At first, people went against the idea of a bar lounge in Lyon but soon, the Morney’s turned it into a speakeasy where everyone could have a sit down with their friends while listening to live entertainment. After the new addition, The Mooney lounge was earning a decent amount of euros a night.

Lyon, France to New York, U.S.A
1940-1942

In 1940, Germany had invaded France so, the Morneys decided to flee their speakeasy in France and go back to America to avoid being held captive by the Germans, leaving all their fortune behind. Once the Morney’s arrived in America in 1941, Ivy had learned she was pregnant with twin boys. In 1942, she had two boys who were called Dean and Elijah. Their father had opened their original lounge in New York City to pay off any hospital bills. A year later, Ivy had a third child, Anika. Once the speakeasy was running smoothly, they were able to make a living for themselves and got their name spread around.

1962

In 1962, the three siblings had decided to spread their fathers ideas to different countries. Dean, the oldest twin, left and settled in Karakura, Japan, Elijah, the youngest twin, stayed in America and Anika left for the United Kingdom and settled in Manchester, Britain. After the split, each sibling kept in touch with each other informing them of their progress.

Karakura, Japan
1961-1962

Once Dean had settled, he opened the speakeasy on the not so populated side of Karakura. A couple weeks after it opened, business started to boom in the speakeasy. People in Karakura started to rebel against this to get the speakeasy closed by accumulating false accusations on the speakeasy that never had any truth to them. One day, different shops started to rage against the speakeasy due to Dean taking pretty much all their business. Eventually, the shops came together and took back their business, forcing Dean into bankruptcy.

1961-1962

Once Anika had arrived, at first she fooled around and didn’t do her job. She went to a lot of parties, fooled around with men and so on and so on. The following year, 1962, Anika grew tired of messing around and not doing her job and she opened her eyes and got her act together and started what she came there to do. She founded the original building her father owned with her mother and made that the speakeasy it once was. One night on the job, she met a man that she started to fancy the more and more she spent time with him. Eventually, she and him became a couple and he helped her run her speakeasy, which was doing fairly well.
New York, U.S.A
1963

After Elijah’s siblings had left, he continued his father’s work from the original speakeasy. In 1963, Elijah ran into the best days of his career. Since he was in America, at that time the segregation was very high in all of America. All of the local bars were going out of business because they were segregated, no black or whites who believed segregation was wrong wanted to be within 10 feet of that bar, but not Mooney’s lounge. Mooney’s was the only bar that was not segregated so all citizens went there because they were fairly treated.

The next day
New York, U.S.A
1963

Elijah called his siblings the next morning and told them of the great success. Upon hearing about Elijah’s success, Dean became consumed by jealousy and anger due to his failure. Dean made plans to visit his brother that day to congratulate him on his success. Dean, out of rage and envy, murdered his brother in cold blood. Dean had to make it look like Elijah had committed suicide so, that's what he did and acted for in front of everyone he knew. Upon hearing the news, Anika had to leave her boyfriend to not have him worry about her but she asked if he would run the speakeasy until she returned, which he agreed then they would go their separate ways.

One month later
New York, U.S.A
1963

Anika had travelled from her business in France and had arrived in America to mourn her brother at his funeral alongside her brother. Anika knew something wasn’t right, her brother killing himself during a state of success? No. Upon her suspicions, she did some digging and learned the truth of what really happened. Once Anika and Dean went back to her hotel and fell asleep, she acquired justice for Elijah.

Karakura, Japan
Two months later

After that night, Anika had left New York and the memories that haunted her and started over in Karakura. She re-opened her brothers speakeasy and reventated it into a new more modern style. She closed off her heart to anyone that tried something because of how deeply hurt she was from the loss of her brothers.

Karakura, Japan
Twenty years later
1990

After a night of Anika letting loose after a long day of work, she made a mistake of letting another man into her heart, causing her to give birth to her only child Fallon Morney. Anika introduced Fallon to the business at a young age and Fallon quickly caught on and started helping the business grow in Karakura.

Karakura, Japan
Present day

After her mother left when Fallon was 18, Fallon made a living for herself by moving up and working for others until she was 29 and decided to take back her mother’s speakeasy and make it something again and not let it be abandoned.

Closure
