The Bahamas.

Yes, Kaidose.#1716 (Although it changes habitually)

N/A.

Describe your activity on the server & on the forums?:
To be honest, I'm not too active on the forums but I definitely don't mind doing so if that much is required of me. On the server, I'm not as active as I can be right now since I'm undergoing a few examinations that'll end soon. Although I do log onto the server everyday from around 8PM-11PM. Of course my activity will be heightened if I were to receive a role such as Councillor within the Student Council.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
I'm fully aware of this, thus I'll do my utmost best of remaining active so that I won't have to face a demotion.

Trivia
What is the Student Council?:
From what I know, the student council is supposed to be a group of students that are usually elected to assist in school affairs and activities, and overall collaborate to impact the structure of the school for the community. This is done to create open opportunities for other students and to encourage relations concerning the school faculty. The Student Council can generally be seen as the inner foundation of the school that serves as the exoskeleton in order for the school to operate fully by introducing topics such as student involvement, student potential growth and student pride, and by uniting the administration and student body.

What happens in the School Council?:

In the Student Council, a lot occurs. Projects pertaining to the community must be conducted of course, as well as forming problem-solving sequences. Generally speaking, brainstorming for the benefit of the school is the number one thing that occurs in the Student Council without fail. The Student Council is regarded as a representation of the school as a whole, which is a determining factor to how successful the school can be. There are multiple objectives that the Student Council is insightful of, but the main ones are to develop leadership skills among the students, promote school-wide activities and to serve as a voice for the student body for any idea, interest or concern through a series of various meetings.

Do you prefer to work alone or in a group?:
I prefer to work in a group since two heads are better than one. Also, the whole premise of the Student Council is unity, so for me to not prefer to work in a group would be highly ironic if I were selected to become a Councillor in the Student Council. Groups tend to join ideas and create perspectives that one possibly couldn't have thought of without the input of another person, which is vital to discussions done in meetings.

Do you have any experience in Roleplaying?:
I do have experience in role-playing, and I've been doing so for about 1-2 years. Within that time frame, I've acquired lots and lots of knowledge, and I'm still learning as we speak.

Roleplay Scenario
You are on the Student Council and the chairman submits an awful idea. What do you do?:
There's nothing else to do except for point it out and express how I feel about the idea. If the idea of the Student Council is to articulate our thoughts to one another to better the school itself, if I were to overlook that awful idea then it'd do the opposite of bettering the school. This is not to say that I wouldn't try to understand the idea from their perspective, but for the purpose of the question, this is what I'd do.

You submit an idea - everyone hates it. How do you deal with the situation?:
I wouldn't necessarily move on from the idea, of course I'd still try to formulate a way to discuss it precisely so that others can fully understand it from my perspective, but I'd mostly refrain from bringing it up unless it was absolutely necessary and I found that the idea could really positively shift the school in a new direction more than ever before.

There is a split decision on an idea. The Councilors begin to debate if the idea should be accepted. As time goes on the debate turns into an argument! How do you handle the situation?:
Assuming the argument is somewhat heated, I'd try to diffuse the situation by reassuring the Councillors that everyone's idea is equally important to the discussion and make an effort to present all of the ideas in a perspective akin to theirs so that it can be more comprehensible.

In-Character Information
Character's Name:
Kairu Tanabe.

Character's Gender:
Male.

Character's Age:
18 Years of Age.

What Student Council position are you applying for?:
Secretary.

Why do you want this position?:
As of late, Kairu has noticed an ongoing trend of students who conduct themselves poorly and out of order. He conspired a plan of trying to help the students with his own knowledge, but no to avail. The students he did go up to only treated him as a lesser being and as someone who holds no authority. After being recommended by his teacher, Miss Kajiwara (who noted that she was very impressed with his effort in her class), Kairu was inspired to pursue the Student Council after some thought about it. He concluded that the Student Council was perfect for the ideology that he envisioned for the school. However, this shouldn't be seen as a sorta power-hungry state of mind, rather it's a serviceable state of mind to polish the student body and the school as a whole. Kairu also recognizes that he first must better himself before bettering others, so joining the Student Council will be incentive to doing so due to how creative he can be and how inspirational he can present himself. Simply put, it's to ensure that the stability of the school remains in place and the structure of the constitution is reinforced tremendously.

(EDIT: This application is from the perspective from when I made it on May 15th, 2019. With that being said, not everything is cohesive because I wanted Councillor at first- only position available at the time. However, I switched to Secretary since that's available now)
