Shop wanted: Shop #1 11/7
Why do you want to own a shop?: To begin, I'd like to acknowledge the inactivity that the majority of shops currently have. Regardless of the delivery plugin breaking for a period of time, I have realized that inactivity was a prominent issue beforehand. I believe that I would be fit for the role as I am usually very active on the server. I normally get on at around 4pm EST and I get off at around 11pm EST. As of recently, I have been more motivated in SRP as I have seen the drastic changes lead by the new owner Im6. Also I have always wanted to have a shop for multiple reasons, one reason being is me really wanting to try out every role on the server, shop owner is a role I have been struggling with for a while. Last time I applied the person who got their shop ended up burning it down a few weeks ago. So after scrolling through the forums looking for a shop to apply for I saw that the 11/7 was free for application, and that brings me to right now. Currently I have multiple ideas for the shop, of course I want to keep the name seeing as it is a staple of the server, the shop is so well known that people in real life who play on the server accidentally call the real-life 7/11, 11/7. I am going to keep the overall design of the store, I personally just want to modernize the current 11/7 design. I want to make this shop the best version of itself, I want to make this shop into the most popular place again, to return it to its former glory.
What do you plan to do with the shop?: I have already mentioned the first few parts on my plans on making this shop into a better version of itself, I have a multitude of ideas such as a little hangout area behind the 11/7, I want to expand the shop so that I can make the inside more detailed while adding new areas where all the food could be presented, along with a snack bar that is common to 7/11s, adding realism to the shop itself. Due to cars being added back soon, I think it would be a nice area to park your car and grab a snack, get a drink, converse with new people, etc. I also want to have random events, similar to or the same as the freetime events we already have on the server, I would also love to add a tiny little coffee shop in the back with a little sit down area for people to drink a nice morning coffee, read the news and etc. I also want to make a tiny park in an empty space near the 11/7 similar to the park found by the school just so people can jump around and gain attributes. I might even add a tiny pound in the park just so people can fish too, however I do realize that not only does the family store have a pond but there is also /warp fish. I just want to add more things to keep people coming back and make the shop experience fun for me, my workers, and especially the customers.
How will your shop be unique?: I will be editing the shop’s overall design, giving it more of a welcoming, clean and organized environment for future customers and workers. I want to make a shop where people come to not only purchase, but to stop, relax and hang out with friends. I want to be able to service my customers in any way possible, be it allowing them to eat inside my store, creating a spot to chill out and sit down outside, expanding it to be able to hold more people and more goods, opening a cosplay item section, anything to bring more customers in and making their lives even easier, by simply giving them what they want when they want. I would love for my shop to have little events like selling limited time items, etc. As I said on what i plan to do with the shop I want to have little events like talent shows, giveaways, and other little fun things to have at the shop just to spice it up. I also plan to sell every item imaginable, just as the 11/7 before. I want to make this shop to be the main shop again, the one everyone goes crazy for maybe even bring back old memories of the old 11/7 when Dark owned it and everyone would chill around there, this could also bring more life to the areas in the back of the map seeing as they are dead for the majority of the day.
How many employees are you planning to have?: In my mind, I currently have a mindset for eight workers in total, as the shop is rather small. However, I’d like a very diverse set of players with differing time zones. If all employees are within the same time zone, the shop would seem inactive during certain hours. Trusted workers would be able to open the shop as well, to keep the bar overall active. There will also be part-time workers, for people who may not be working during the school hours. They will be paid less than full time workers, but they will be given a chance to work overall. Money will depend on how many shifts have been worked, the current position the worker has, and their overall activity and performance during work hours. Pay will be minimized if there are multiple complaints about a specific inactive worker. Depending on the activity and performance of a worker, the pay may be raised to 200,000 yen, but the time will change to three weeks in order for all workers to receive their pay fairly. I plan to have a basic worker outfit for each gender just to make it look a little bit more professional seeing as the last time someone owned the 11/7 they let workers wear whatever they want which would never work in a real life. In a real world shop there are rules in which workers have to follow, I have made a list of rules which the workers should follow. They would include rules like, the customer is always right, always treat the customer with respect, never steal from the register or the stock, etc. Just to make sure everyone is in order when im not around i will hire managers and etc just to make sure everyone is in shape and following all the rules of the shop. Managers should wear a suit or a dress shirt just to show that they are of a higher authority seeing as managers would be bound to make more money and the higher pay would translate into better clothes and etc.
