Backstory:
Michael was born to a family who did not want him at all. As a baby, he was put on adoption until being adopted into a small, but loving family by his two mothers named Rosamie and Dalisay. Growing up in New Jersey until he was around fourteen, Michael learned that people of the world are not kind at all as he ran into people who harassed him for having homosexual parents. Because he did not a lot of friends, he would sit to himself where he listened to music, which seemed to be his only way of “escaping” from the real world at the time. At the age of 15, he began looking into the music of the past, where he had some sort of awakening, realizing that the music of his current generation was horrible and didn't sound as good. Due to increasing drama in New Jersey, him and his family decided to move to Japan, which was a place Michael has wanted to go to because he knew that many of his favorite video games were created there, his mothers were interested in going to Japan generally because of the culture, they learned Japanese, as well as putting Michael into Japanese classes since he was thirteen and ended up moving in the town of Karakura, where things did not really change as much at school. When he moved into the town, he came with his a decorated hoodie inspired by a character from the musical, Be More Chill. He was inspired by a specific character from the musical generally because of how much it caught his personality, seeing that he was interested in many things the fictional character was interested in. Coincidentally, they also both had striking similarities, such as having two mothers and the same first name. After a small while, Michael found out that his mothers had a small addiction to weed, which has been something that their mothers have been trying to hide for quite a long time. Seeing that he was stressed almost all the time, his moms let him try it, getting him into the small addiction as well. Gladly, marijuana was more helpful, helping him with his social anxiety, his immense stressful emotions, and generally, helped him keep calm. With his mothers’ support and love, as well as his will to live, he feels calm enough to live in the town of Karakura despite the many people he finds to be very unintelligent miscreants.
Upon living in Japan for a few more years, Michael's moms met a friendly white-haired male named Avrius, who they became quite close friends with, after a few years of Avrius generously helping them. The Mirandas, seeing Avrius' generosity and loneliness, decided to invite the rest of the family to discuss adopting Avrius somehow. Dalisay's mother and father happily agreed to adopt Avrius as their son, seeing that Avrius is a great person at heart. One day, as they were hanging out, Dalisay and Rosamie 'proposed' to Avrius, asking if he'd like to be their brother, explaining the entire situation. Avrius happily agreed and acted like an older sibling, or sometimes, an uncle, to Michael, letting him have some of his things and once in a while, giving him money on his birthday.
When Michael grew 18, he met a girl who he did not know as much. Her name was Meiku, she had pink hair, and brown eyes, her fashion being quite gothic, even though she wasn't feeling any sort of bad emotions. Though Michael had known little about her, something about Meiku caught his eye and drove him to her, making him fall in love with her immediately as he grew a connection. After days or weeks of hanging out, the two realized how much they really loved each other, and stayed together no matter where they were, Michael referred Meiku as her "Player One" like the nerd he is. Meiku ended up moving in with Michael as a result of her roommates moving away, and in response to random people moving in. Because of how good of a person Meiku seemed to Michael's mothers, they gladly let her stay, which brought Michael and Meiku much closer.
As Michael stayed in Japan, he learned how to keep to himself and to mind his own business. Much more preferred to be with himself or his girlfriend. He remains independent, knowing how to not get unwanted attention by simply being invisible from the High School's hierarchy.
