Describe your activity on the server & on the forums?: I believe myself to be quite active on the server, especially since I’m always free around summer, and throughout most of my weekdays and weekends, I’d say 4-6+ hours during vacations and weekends, and about 3-4 hours on normal weekdays. As for the forums, I’m only active when it’s extremely necessary, such as applying, checking threads, e.t.c, However, I will be frequently on the forums, not only to sign class logs, but also to read up on teacher updates, and news.

What is your motivation for becoming a teacher?: Ever since I’ve gotten into the role-play community, I’ve always made it my mission to experience every aspect, thus refining my skills, and realism when it comes to roleplaying. I’ve been very curious when it comes to teaching, and I personally believe that now I am capable of taking on the responsibility. In addition to that, I strive to give the high school life again, teaching students the skills they need to excel in a certain subject, and filling them with passion and school spirit! I’d like to create an environment based on the core of this server, School roleplay. It wouldn’t be the same without teachers in the community, enhancing the role-play experience to fellow, inquisitive students, and building excitement within them. It would drive the server back to it’s core purpose, rather than being dominated by Gangrp. Also, I’ve heard, and seen, that the high school needs active teachers, to make the school lively and realistic. Finally, one of my close friends F1re_ really enjoys his position, which motivated me to apply.

Do you have any experience in Roleplaying?: I believe I’m experienced within the field of roleplaying, especially in a high school environment. Being a student there for a while, and observing fellow teachers carry out their lessons, it has given me the confidence to carry out a lesson based on how classrooms are managed Ic’ly and OOC’ly. I’m extremely familiar with roleplaying, continuing to better myself for over 3 years on School based servers, City based servers, and Medieval based servers. I’m also extremely informed of the rules, following them strictly at all times. Teachers are a very important in the community, that needs role-players who are responsible, and I feel I am ready to take on that role.

Have you read the Faculty Handbook?: Yes, I’ve read through the Faculty Handbook, equipping me with the knowledge, and guidelines to become an excellent and successful teacher, along with carrying out lessons properly. Making sure to include all the important facts, in order to excel in the workplace.

What are the classroom logs and why is it important?: The main purpose of a classroom log, is to monitor activities within the classroom, making sure that students are moving forward with their lessons in an orderly manner. This is extremely important, as it makes sure students are getting the best of their education, learning the most beneficial skills and lessons. It also overlooks a teacher’s performance, seeing if they are excelling at their work, or must be fired, because teachers who are going above and beyond, are ranked up to a higher level in their career.

You want to start a school field trip; how do you do that?: The teacher must apply for the trip on the forums OOC’ly, making sure to inform the Principles IC’ly, before proceeding to plan minuscule details such as date, time, e.t.c.

As a teacher, what are the strict rules when being in a class?:


Some strict rules I’d enforce in a school setting would be:

-Students have the right to learn, Teachers have a right to teach, so be orderly at all times, and do not annoy or hinder others.

-Raise your hand to be recognised.

-Always respect fellow classmates and teachers, along with property of the school.

-Ensure that students are always active, participating, and trying their hardest to excel in their subject.

-Phones, food, and drinks, are not allowed in the classroom, unless allowed by the teacher, or due to a doctor or nurse note.



Summarize your previous RP experience's (both in general and on SchoolRP): I’ve had many previous experiences while roleplaying. Having role-played in many different settings, such as: Medieval rp, School rp, City rp, e.t.c. I strongly believe that due to to my 3+ of roleplaying as many different races, cultures, creatures, positions, e.t.c , I’m a fairly skilled roleplayer, who is able to take on a teaching position.

Describe the ranking system of teachers:

- HD: An HD (Head of Department) is responsible of a subject and plan lessons and gets the final word on topics while they talk to their QTLS and NQT in their subjects

- QTLS: A QTLS (qualified teacher with learning skills) is an individual who is experienced enough to independently plan and execute lessons. Also, they are trusted by seniors to handle their own subjects, without an HD around.

- NQT: An NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher) is a new, or part-time teacher, who is under either a senior’s or a high ranked member’s supervision, being fairly new to teaching. NQT’s need time, as well as practice, until they can teach by themselves, full-time.

A teacher is a vital role in a student’s life. They build and shape our future leaders. The role of a teacher goes far beyond simply educating their assigned class, but they also create a suitable environment in which students can learn and develop. These young, and bright scholars mostly rely on their fellow teachers, to set the mood for the class, and it’s their duty to set one that is suitable for the development of their pupils. They are typically role models, setting an example for students around the globe; with that knowledge, teachers strive to be orderly and presentable when it comes to their classes, setting a good example for impressionable individuals, since a teacher spends a great deal of time with her students. Mentoring and protecting is a natural role when it comes to their students. Mentoring is when a teacher encourages her students to learn, and striving to be the best they can be; it builds not only confidence, but the crave to be successful. Responsibility is a key when it comes to teaching, because teachers are required to notice signs of trouble within their students. If a student’s behaviour changes, or physical traces of abuse, they must report it to faculty. In their free time on school grounds, teachers could be seen formatting and grading tests, checking worksheets, printing copies of revision sheets, or simply trying to catch their breaths from a hectic and chaotic day. Why are teachers important to a SchoolRP server?: Teachers are crucial to a SchoolRP server, simply because of it’s core purpose, A school-based role-play. They are a tremendously essential part when it comes to school, because SchoolRP’s aim is to create a realistic roleplay environment. So what is a school with no teachers?

What lesson planning system does the school work on?: Teachers must plan lessons regularly, since lesson planning is a crucial aspect of teaching. The reason behind this is, if teachers are sick, or on a vacation, and they have failed to plan lessons, substitute teachers will have nothing to teach the students. Failing to create lesson plans breaks the code of conduct, thus getting the teacher demoted.

Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. How does he look like? What makes him unique and different? What is his outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is his personality like? What is his plan for the future?

Vittoria Lombardi, a tall, hourglass shaped, young woman, Stands at about 5’3” with a personality twice her size! Her radiant Blue eyes always seem to spark when she’d speak about Preforming Arts, proving her dedication. Her smile, radiant, being able to light up a room. She’d have a heart-shaped face with angular, refined features, a strong jaw, upturned eyes, soft, full lips, and a button nose. Her hair would be long, being the colour of Butterscotch, complementing her Medium Beige skin-tone.

As for her personality, Vitto is quite a charmer. Being inquisitive, erratic, creative, and ambitious. She’s always been a free spirit, roaming the streets, looking to explore the world around her. Performing Arts has always been her passion, whether is was writing a play, or expressing hers confidence on stage. Vittoria’s always been a creative individual, as she plans to teach others the wonderful art of self-expression. She has an extremely unique personality, sometimes being classified as an oddball. Over time she learnt to love and accept herself, and wants to show the world that, no matter your quirks, you’ll always fit in somewhere.

She admires other teachers, and is extremely thankful for their hard work, and dedication, to provide a proper education to fellow young scholars. She tries her best to befriend not only the teachers, but the pupils as well. Her outlook on the students is that they are the leaders of the future, and that everyone must contribute to their growth, in order for them to lead with pride and confidence.

Scenarios

You find a gang of delinquents in the hallway cursing and swearing, what do you do?: I would consult the principal immediately, as this behaviour is not tolerated on school grounds, and students should always be a good example for those who are younger than them, since younger students tend to look up to people in higher grades.

No one in your class is listening to a word you say, what do you do?: She’d clap loudly, grabbing the students’ attention, yelling with a confident tone “Okay students, whoever doesn’t listen has to write a full screenplay in 3 days!” she’d say with a smirk.

When in the teacher's lounge, how does your character act?: Vittoria is very outgoing, so she’d either be socialising with her fellow teachers over a cup of coffee, or sitting in the corner writing a screenplay while listening to music.

Backstory

Vittoria Maria Lombardi, a bright young woman, was born in the radiant city of Milan, Italy. Her parents were extremely set on providing Vittoria with not only a comically great childhood, but with a great future as well. They had always used their vast knowledge of the business industry, to climb up to the top, being able to equip young Vitto with a chance to attend a prestigious academy, graduate from a high ranking, respected university, and pave the way to a future she desires. Sadly, Her mother and father, worked so hard, that they never had a chance to bond with Vitto. Knowing it was for her future, this young and blossoming girl spent most of her time on her hobbies, making sock puppets to start a show to be exact. Every day, she’d write a different script, memorising all the words, and independently voicing, and bringing each character to life.

Growing older, Vittoria developed a love of preforming arts, driving her vespa through the streets of Italy everyday to reach her local theatre. She’d watch in awe as the actors preformed with such confidence, and elegance. Preforming Arts played a huge role in her life, masking the feeling of looniness due to lack of parental figures in her life. From that point forward, she’d always refine her acting and writing skills, growing ever more confident as the days flew past. She’d walk the school halls with a straight posture, and her head up high, socialising with every group of students, who admired her quirkiness. Others would poke fun at her, because she’d rather stay at home writing, over going to a party with underage drinking and *********s. She never quite understood the concept, and just laughed it off, knowing this is what will get her far in the future. Mostly spending time with her close group of friends, the Kaderona Family.

A year into high school later, Vitto’s parents got a business opportunity they could not refuse; the once in a lifetime chance, of becoming a co-owners of a booming entertainment industry and theatre group, known worldwide, however it was in Japan. With that, the Lombardi family had accepted the offer. At first, Vitto was heartbroken hearing she had to move away from Milan, it was a tough goodbye, especially to the theatre that motivated her to become the creative spirit she is today. Landing in Japan, time had almost passed too quickly. One moment young Vittoria was going to her first sophomore class, the next second she was graduating from high school,with the 3rd highest grade in her class.

After graduation, Vittoria had a tough decision ahead of her, it was whether to pursue Business like her parents, or branch out to Fine Arts. Summer vacation for her, was the time to think long and hard about her future. In the end Vitto decided to follow her dreams, to become a master of the Fine Arts, and to teach others of this wonderful subject. After years of hard work, she had finally walked on stage, received a handshake, and gotten her Bachelor’s Degree. With tears rolling down her cheeks post-graduation ceremony, Vittoria began to think of her past, and how far she came with the help of Preforming Arts. She had wanted nothing more, than to educate young, inquisitive learners, that being unique is okay, and to embrace it, use it as confidence to grace the stage with as much elegance as those actors back in Italy. With that in mind, she had truly began her journey.
