Backstory
NOTE: THIS MAY SOUND A BIT SIMILAR TO A STORY YOU MAY BE FAMILIAR WITH IF YOU ARE CATCHING MY DRIFT. WHEN I JOINED THIS SERVER, I STARTED WITH THE CHARACTER "ASRIEL", SIMILAR TO THE ASRIEL FROM UNDERTALE. I AM SORRY IF THIS STORY IS FUCKING CRINGY, BUT THIS IS KIND OF HIS BACKSTORY AND BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. IT'S A PINCH OF UNDERCRINGE AND ORIGINALITY, SO I WOULD DEEPLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU DON’T BASH ME IN THE FACE FOR THIS SHIT. THANKS.
April 28th, 19XX, a boy had been born into a sweet family in a small city of San Bernardino. His name was Azrael Dreamerr, and he had a big heart and a beautiful morale as he grew older. He was happier than anyone else. One day, when Azrael was nine years old, his parents had adopted a young girl, with brown hair and brown eyes. Her name was unknown though, as it was forgotten by everyone else. Azrael and his sister grew up together, building a bond that is almost unbreakable. They told eachother everything, and Azrael's sister even told him about her abusive family. She was beaten by her old father and nearly starved by her old mother, her siblings used to abuse her as well, by playing with her emotions and feelings. After years of suffering, the police was involved, and her parents were arrested. Her and her siblings were sent to an orphanage, where it was even worse for Azrael's sister. She grew a hatred for humanity, but after being adopted by a loving family like Azrael's, her hatred was undermined. Since Azrael was bullied a lot in school because of his name, his sister would defend him from being bullied at school, as they both grew older, though unfortunately, his sister became sick of it, and tired of how disgusting and cruel humanity can be, as she has suffered it before she was adopted into the Dreamerr family. When they both grew twelve, his sister ended up eating fatally poisonous flowers and grew deathly ill. Azrael saw it happen but knew nothing about the consequences. His sister ended up dying.
Azrael, wracked with grief, knew what was the cause of her death, and realized why she did it. He remembers his sister confiding with him about her hatred for humanity and why she hated people so much. He felt that it was "their" fault for hurting her as well, so he thought of something. "What if these people suffer the shit she suffered?" And so, he made countless lives suffer. He made those people never breathe again. After a few months, he couldn't stop it. He felt some sort of addiction as he continued to destroy the lives of others silently. His parents were worried about their son, as he never came home. One day, he ended up running into another girl, named [REDACTED]. At first, he thought it was a very strange name, as he already knew that it was from a video game, he cringes and attempts to murder her many times for that satisfaction and joy. But for some strange reason, this she would not die. When he tried to get her in a secluded area, he felt something that caused him to not hurt her. Since she was so kind to Azrael, and that's when he started to feel a spark of something hasn't felt in a long while after a whole year of pure bloodshed. What he felt was a warm feeling that he used to get. Azrael then stopped trying to kill her and to be nice for a change by being around this girl. Year after year, they always hung around almost as close as Azrael and her sister, except a bit more closer.
Remembering his "old" self, Azrael realizes how much of a terrible person he was, how much sin he has committed. Finally, Azrael confides in [REDACTED], telling her everything that he has done, all of the lives he has ruined when he left home for years and never came back. At first, [REDACTED] did not believe him, but until he told her about his sister and their experiences with bullying, the fact that Azrael also wore the same sweater every day also had shown that he has not been home at all. Azrael, guilty after ruining so many lives, broke down in tears, uncontrollably crying. Though even after everything, after all of the pain Azrael caused to people and undoubtedly, families, Azrael was forgiven, as clearly, after two years, he has clearly changed a lot from his old self. [REDACTED] helped Azrael get back in contact with his parents, who were filled with joy to see him after him being missing for years.
When Azrael became 16, he moved to Takeshima, Japan with his parents, due to being tired of political stuff in America. [REDACTED] also suggested it since he may be able to start a fresh new life in a fresh town. Since [REDACTED] was the one who technically brought Azrael to his parents, his parents already had so much respect for her. It turns out that [REDACTED] did not have any parents, so Azrael's parents asked him if she should be his sister. He objects as he realized that his feelings for [REDACTED] are more than just sibling love. So instead, he helps her find a family in Takeshima. Since Azrael’s parents still had business to attend to in America, they went back, for the time being, knowing that Azrael knew how to take care of himself. Azrael found a loving family that [REDACTED] could stay in, but things started to go south, when [REDACTED] lost her life in front of Azrael, trying to defend herself from an unknown gang.
Azrael grew with grief once again, as it has been the second time he had lost someone, but instead of resorting to murder, Azrael attempted to make newer friends. He meets a small group of people, a female with dark purple hair known as Shayna, a male with white and black hair, known as Silver, and another female, but with white hair, her name was Mell. At first, Azrael was accepted into the group, and things were just happy at first. Things started to change after months and months, he ended up having feelings for Shayna, but was rejected due to her already liking someone else, Azrael understood, but something inside him still felt like something was missing. He felt numb inside, and he did not know why. He met many people as he was in High School, but tended to avoid them to not get them into his business.
One day though, he was attacked by a pair of two people who chased him everywhere. As he was chased, he was welcomed into a home to take shelter until the men left the area. There, he met two people known as Miles and Nikolai, who was part of the school council. Coincidentally, Miles was running for council president and planned to stop gang activity. Azrael told him his experiences and so, that’s when Miles introduced him to a group chat that included some people that seemed to be quite familiar. He found a young girl, about a year younger than him named Vixen Kanbaru, who seemed to be quite obsessed with Azrael. Though, since Azrael was too busy, she ended up going into an abusive relationship with Oak Heiwa. After Azrael started staying around Vixen, who confided in Azrael, telling him all of the things Oak has done, Azrael confronted Oak, with Miles and Ally, who both knew about Oak’s bullshit. Ally, was a victim of Oak as he has cheated on her with Vixen, and Azrael, told Miles about him. In the end, Oak disappeared from the narrative, and things were alright for a short while. During that short while, Azrael spent more time with Vixen, causing his old group to grow angry at him, as they have been experiencing hard times. More and more things began to occur, Vixen was sent to the hospital as she grew blind, and Azrael was made to be her caretaker for the time being until she wasn’t blind anymore. Though… Soon after, Miles started working in the yakuza, and it seemed that Vixen decided to work with Miles for a short while, causing her to begin hanging around with Azrael less and less. Azrael was then under fire, as his group was mad at him as he continued to chase for Vixen’s love, going as far as following her. He began to overreact more when Vixen left, and that’s when Vixen’s friend told him to cut him off. Before Azrael confronted Vixen, he ran into Shayna, who was tired of his bullshit and really cut him off. Azrael then went to Vixen, who told him about how she wanted to leave him for the reasons said. Azrael, heartbroken, felt empty and ran off. He then left Takeshima for a good two weeks. Vixen felt terrible and thought that Azrael didn’t want her living within his apartment, so she left to stay with Miles. Azrael came back, eyes tired. As he has not slept for the following weeks. Though. Nothing really seemed to change.
PART 3
After the destruction of Taketatsu Highschool, everyone moved to Karakura, Azrael, still depressed, decided to stay in the shadows, away from any contact from anyone including his friends. At Takeshima, he got news that his family has died in a plane crash on their way to Japan, so he had lost everyone. He was very invisible from everyone except those who sort of knew him. Though, it seemed that Miles and the Yakuza had disappeared. Everything was quiet. He never saw his old group, and he rarely ever saw Vixen. He had no idea what to do.
He lost all hope for a long moment before he decided to move to America for a small while to get his life straight for once, focusing on his school and his life for nearly two to three years. Azrael tried meditation to calm his insane thoughts, as well as getting therapy. He worked hard, studying and graduated high school to go to college. He didn’t focus on anyone but himself and tried to stay strong, fortifying his mental health with knowledge. When he was finally ready, he arrived back to Karakura, fresher than ever, where he continued to go to college. He saw a lot of familiar faces, specifically two, a man known as Jun, who looked exactly like Miles, as well as Ally’s brother, Santiago, who had another sister named Ally (Because the first Ally was killed by Miles back at Takeshima.) After Azrael talked to Jun for a while, Azrael had come to realize that people were making fun of him because of his name. So he decided to legally change his name to what Jun has suggested: “Avrius Shlayn”. Azrael, who loved the name changed it as soon as possible. As Avrius began to hang around Jun more, he had decided to bring up Miles, as he was very curious in his whereabouts. Jun told Avrius that Miles had been living in California. This caused Avrius to have flashbacks of the past, and so, he told Jun about all of the bad things he had done, thinking that he had known about it as well. But it had seemed that Jun had never known about the terrible things Miles had done. A police officer had overheard Avrius speaking, and decided to take them both in for both of them to explain about Miles or Mei. Afterward, Jun was in denial, as he always thought of Miles as a brother. He immediately went to Santiago, who obviously knew about Miles’ bad doings, and told him about how Avrius told the police everything. This is when Avrius had learned to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT because then he was taken into Santiago’s house, and beaten up, as well as cut... Though, Santiago then patched him up, feeling sorry for bashing his head into a wall constantly, and cutting his face a little. What happened after this was unknown, but Avrius was met with Vixen again, who changed quite a bit, was even busier. Avrius, who thought that things were okay, realized things were not okay at all, because he only began to go back to his old self as he began to see even more and more bad in Karakura. Trying to contact Vixen for at least some company, he fails. He grew empty again. But tried to stay strong, he refused to fall down. Avrius wanted to keep the same initials he had before he changed his name, he decides to change his last name to "Driuva". He tries to stay kind to those around him, but stood on guard, he was unsure if Miles would go after him after snitching on him, he was unsure if Jun decided to tell him everything that Avrius has done in an attempt to get Miles in trouble.
From months to probably a whole year passed ever since Avrius saw Vixen once, but that was the last time he saw her for a while. She acted quite different from when Avrius saw her the last time.. He didn't think much of it. No longer focusing on his studies, he decided to drop out and focus on the business side of Karakura by owning a new shop in Suoobway with a well-known friend of his, John Parker, who Co-Owns the shop... If acting like a P.E. teacher counts as helping, then yeah, you could say he helps a lot. Ever since Avrius became a real adult, he became more and more unsure in how to communicate with others due to the fact that many other people were much younger than him.
After owning the business, Avrius has decided to leave his past behind, leaving Vixen behind, leaving what he has known before and began a new life as he met a friendly homosexual couple of two, who had an adopted boy named Michael. Talking to them for a few years, Avrius grew a friendship to the point it was almost like they were siblings, so the couple decided to invite their family into Japan where they discuss adopting Avrius, due to his lack of any family whatsoever. Avrius, happily joined the family, treating Michael like a younger sibling, or his nephew. John Parker has sadly disappeared, losing his role as Co-Owner of Suoobway. Avrius continues to help his new family, as well as continuing to hold his business.
