Being disconnected

Whenever I try to join the server it stays on the loading terrain screen for around 30 seconds and then says 'disconnected'. When I first logged on (I haven't played in around a year) it worked completely fine but then it started taking more tries to log on because it either said 'disconnected' or I managed to log on for about a minute and then it says 'the connection was forcibly close by the remote host'. It has gotten to the point where I can't log onto the server at all. I have tried the server on another computer in the house and it still doesn't work. I have tried anything that I could think of, Restarting my router, restarting my computer, completely uninstalling minecraft, turning off my firewall, direct connect, switching between 1.31.1 and 1.31.2, This doesn't happen on any other servers. I assume it might be something to do with the new version of minecraft but i'm not quite sure. Some other people had problems with this, did they ever manage to fix it? Any ideas?

It's alright, hopefully when a new version comes out and the server updates to that it will make a difference

Yeah it could be. I just find it weird that I can perfectly join other servers with no problem but I have trouble with this one. If it is then I guess I can't do much about it, thanks anyways.

I'm assuming your joining something like 'Hypixel' which would have a lot more money put into it to make it easier to join with bad internet

I have tried some smaller servers which allow like 150 players and they work fine. The best I can hope for is that it somehow manages to fix itself at some point, otherwise I guess I won't be able to play on the server which sucks.

Yes, now I can kind of join but it takes multiple tries. Whenever I successfully join it says 'failure' in the chat and I assume that is it failing to download the resource pack. But I don't mind as long as I can join the server.

If it still happens, redownload Minecraft, restart your computer and try to log on. This has happen to me and this has resolved it. Sorry if it doesn't work.

When you get on the server do /resource if you want the resource pack. If it crashes you then you can just play without it and ask other players what the items are supposed to be if you don't know.
