Denied CorgiRp's Receptionist Application

Corgi

Level 0
In Game Name: CorgiRp

School Employee Role you are Applying For:
Receptionist

How often do you log onto the server?:
5-9 Hours a day. 6-7 Days a week.

Do you have discord?:
Yes, CorgiLordi#2921

Do you have a microphone?:
Yes.

Have you ever been banned, If yes when and why?:
I've never been banned

Can you ensure that you will often come on:
Yes.

Do you recognise that you can be ICly fired?:
Yes.

In as much detail as possible, describe the role of your chosen school employee: A receptionist is a person who is required to answer calls at a desk, as well as greet people in to the building they work in. This job is mainly at a front desk or lobby of the building. They will file the call depending on the importance need for the issue. For instance. A person needed to talk to the head of the building they worked in. They would file that and give it to the head as soon as possible.

Do you have any past experience in this type of roleplay?:
I have never roleplayed as a receptionist before. But I do know the general idea of how to roleplay as one. Or "the basics of a receptionist."

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
During my experiences on the server, I've mainly roleplayed as a high-school student. But I have other experiences on other servers I used to or still play on sometimes.

Are you familiar with what your job does? If so, describe it:
Being in a school, the "front office" is mainly where the receptionists work during the day. But I have also read an article about them, and their jobs of how they work.

[Situations]

During a workshift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how do you react?:
Escort them to a teacher, so the teacher can determine if they need a detention or not. If they refuse to come with me, I would have to call a higher school authority to come over and get the student themselves.

You are doing a hazadrous job requested by the School Principal, how do you react?:
As being an employee to the school, I would have to do the job as the person who told me to asked. Therefor there wouldn't be any conflict during the request. But, if it is something very life threatening, I would have to deny the request no matter the conflict between me and the boss. But I would try to avoid denying a job as much as possible.

Another school employee is doing something very dangerous on the job or acting out of order, how do you react?:
If a different employee is acting strange, I would attempt to calm them down, or talk to them. If they don't respond in a calming way, I would have to tell them to leave the school for the day. But if an employee is doing a dangerous job, I would have to ask the person who did it why they wanted to do it. But if the person was doing it on their own, I would go along with them.

[IC section]
Applicant Name:
Corin Jan Amour
Chosen Job: Receptionist

Motivation for Joining YHS: I have always wanted to help people as much as possible in a safe way. So being an officer wouldn't be a good idea. But working at a school where I can help students and staff, is a good way to achieve that goal. Not only that, but I help students to be more positive, outgoing, and kind.
Age: 25

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I have had past experience with students or adults being out of order. As well in London, I was mostly in the office helping teachers or receptionists with sorting papers since I was known as well organized. They told me that was one of their key things to being a receptionist. To keep all files organized, and be nice to the people coming into the office. When I moved to Japan, I thought it would be a good experience to work in a school lobby or office, to help the students of the school.

NOTICE
Greetings @Corgi,

First and foremost, thank you for taking the time out of your day to apply for the school employee role of School-Receptionist. Unfortunately, today on March 2nd, 2019, I will not be delivering you any good news. After thoroughly reviewing your application (several times, might I add), I have decided to deny your application. My reasoning(s) for such, provided below:

✴ Your application, entirely, is short and doesn't prove much.

✴ You've failed to properly demonstrate that you are knowledgable and comprehend the purposes of your chosen job.

✴ From my view, I do not see you exactly as "worthy" of serving the responsibilities of a receptionist. (I apologize if this comes off as rude to you, I, by no means, mean to hurt you emotionally nor do I wish this unmotivate you)

For any further questions in regards to your application (or anything for that matter), feel free to DM me on discord. (marc#1747)
