Dimitri doesn't take much to school, often leaving his figure skates at home to skate after school. He brings his backpack with the bare essentials, which he feels that's all he needs.

He also has a nicotine addiction, which he doesn't like to let other people know about. He can be very hot-headed at times, lashing out in anger while going through withdrawals or from having a rough day training.
