I feel that the jail system needs to be fixed.

When my friend threw a single snowball towards a group, it hit an officer in the large crowd of people. She was arrested instantly after being pinned to a wall and threatened. Thinking this was unfair I tried to talk to the officer, but I got no responses, so to get their attention, I threw snowballs at the officer to bring up the *you where hit with a snowball by *blank** notification. But there was still no response so i continued to do it until my friend was sent to jail and i was tazed with a god-mod sentence. Unfair yes but i was not too worried about this. When I was sent to jail the officer came to tell us that for 'throwing snowballs' (or they considered it "assaulting an officer") we had to spend 13 months in jail. A whole 13 months! If not, then we could bail out with money. But the bail was too high at $135,000 that a newcomer of 3 days had no way of achieving. And this was for both of us, even though I had clearly done more than my friend had.

Now this is where it gets a little complicated, because the arrest only lasts for 40 mins. So once the 40 minutes where over, I was free to go. I waited it out, and left the game afterwards. The next day I was greeted by the same officer, now in a different role-play character. They told me i was not allowed to be my character, because they were in jail. Even though the 40 minutes were up. They even invited a moderator to help back them up. My options where to continue in jail for 13 months, pay the bail money, or change my skin, name and character behaviour. When I tried to tell the moderator what circumstance I was in, and that this was unfair, not just for me but also for my friend, they simply wouldn't do anything and forced me to change character or spend time in jail. I like my character the way it is, so I decided to just leave and apologise for the inconvenience.

I later look online to see if there was anything like this happening to other people. I ended up finding a you-tube video of a you-tuber getting arrested on the same server. After joining a gang, he was arrested for being found with alcohol/drugs and caught giving it to younger grades. Before this, he runs from the police to eventually be caught and brought against a wall. He claimed that the alcohol was placed on him and he was not a part of it. Later on he was sentenced to only 2 months in jail and bail money of $30,000. Both of these were no where near mine, and was for far worse crimes. His friends did eventually bail him out though, he was only there for less than half an hour.

I'm not saying that the server is bad, in fact I really enjoyed it. But something is wrong with the people who take over and get too caught up in their roles. If this is not fixed soon, I might never play on such a great server again. Please understand that I'm only trying to stop further complications, and the police should give warnings instead of arresting them and forcing them to pay unrealistic amounts. I hope this is seen and people understand where I'm coming from.

Thanks from the guy you don't know,

You think throwing multiple snowballs at an on-duty officer is smart? okay.

Also, assault on an officer is way worse than underage beer...

Oh and, your character would be in jail - that’s why they made you change.

What about his friend? And the bail money was clearly overpowering. He probably doesn't want to wait 13 months to be his own character on a server. And he wasn't assaulting an officer, he was clearly just getting their attention. Everyone can throw snowballs at whoever they like and he gets sentenced to jail for over a year? I can see why this is unfair. Also underage drinking/drug use is against the law, but the kids can't be charged. Maybe instead of jail time, MrMuffinNo1 should get community service? IDK this just seems off.

And I'm not saying he shouldn't be in jail for potentially assaulting an officer, just that this was too harsh a punishment, seriously.

Community service doesn't exist. You should think of the consequences of your actions. You got arrested, deal with it. Accept that you have to wait and stop complaining on the forums. I suggest you familiarize yourself with the rules man. Think about it in real life, would you get away with throwing a snowball at an officer on duty? No, you wouldn't, and you would be arrested for longer than that because you're not only distracting them from doing their job you're basically assaulting them and going against laws. Be lucky it was thirteen months, it could have been much more. Have your friend get an officers by walking up to them like a normal person would do.

Here in Australia, if we threw a snowball at an officer on duty, they would join in for a game, not arrest them. What kind of laws do you live by? I feel sorry for you if you get over a year jail time for throwing soft snow at people.

And he clearly tried to get the officers attention, but was ignored. He literally says it. READ.

First of all, don't double post, it's against the rules. And if he was ignored why not wait until an officer is less busy and then he can try and get the Officers attention. No need to get so offended. Plus you need to take in the fact that this is a Minecraft Server and it's not going to be 100% realistic.

Yeah? Okay, in real life a fine would be closer to $100-$300. Even if you make it $3000 on the server, isn't it better than $135,000? Sure it might not be accurate, but it seems the officer just wants to make some money and used this as an excuse. He shouldn't have the role of officer in this case. And the officer gave no warning to them at all. Also the officer seemed to be roaming around in the group of people that was there and the only reason muffin was impatient was because his friend was going to be arrested for something small and had little time to react. There should be laws put in place, with more realistic punishments than to give it to the officer to decide. And there are actual rules for the police, they have to ask them to come peacefully first. If they disagree then they can take action, but here he was instantly tazered.

13 months for throwing 1 snowballs is too much, I agree. But getting 13 months for throwing them constantly is 100% legit. Here in germany, throwing snowballs at someone without them wanting it could result in having to pay a fine of 20€-80€ or face a prison sentance (3 months) because it is indeed considered as assault. Throwing snowballs is banned at my school, because you could pick up a stone covored in snow and hurt somebody with it. It happens quite a lot. It is not unfair at all that you got 13 months for constantly throwing snowballs at an on-duty officer.

You were arrested for Assaulting a Police Officer (With a snowball against my characters back, Over 20 times, Which realistically would give off some type of bruise) Note, This would of been find if I wasn't in the middle of BLOODY ARRESTING SOMEONE

You were also arrested for Minor Assault. Attacking other students with snowballs. This as well as interrupting me arresting someone.

Rodspxm

You were arrested for, Assaulting a Police Officer (Also hitting my character as well as others with snowballs, In a non play-fighty way) This is real life, you dont go firing snowballs consistently to randoms now do you?

You were also arrested for Minor Assault, You were hurting other victims watching over and before the scene with Snowballs.

Now, Once I attempted to arrest you, You ran, I told you to halt 3 times, I had finally caught you, Warning your character that I wouldn't be so caring to him and that I would this time tase him if he picked to Evade Me any more. Then, Guess what? You ran and I chased you across the map (Not being in direct taser distance) Before finally catching up, Omega tasing you with an EPIC fortnite dance :hits a fat dab lol And then arresting you before hitting another epic fortnite dab just like Wiz Khalfia: before roasting you loocly and then kissing you goodbye before I sent you to jail :Mwah: !

So overall, you were arrested for, Assault on a Police Officer, Minor Assault, Evading and Resisting Arrest.

Overall:

Converting 135k (The final bail of Muffin) 135000 Yen is 1,191 USD, And is actually quite a small amount for ASSAULTING A POLICE OFFICER. Just stop complaining, I gave you both PLENTY of chances, In which neither of you took. I am afraid you wont be getting an epic royale today, Goodbye EPIC gamers! :Skrts away hitting a fat one for the last time:

So what if I was a witness and could tell you that muffin did not run more than 20 blocks then turn back simply because he did not wish to be tazed after being threatened. And you yourself even threatened us. And then when he happily walked to the wall and you asked him to halt, he moved two or three blocks while still touching said wall. Just before getting arrested, in a small group we were having a play fight with the snowballs and when one hit you you cracked the sh*ts arresting his friend and when his friend asked him for help, he tried his best to. He was not attacking anyone else and only avoided you as to not be tazed but still happily came back if you did not hurt him or his friends. If he wanted to run away he would have completely without fail. But he stopped and obeyed you, still ending up getting tazed by a careless officer. And if you were really paying attention you would have notice that half of the snowballs the threw where directly in the air as to come back down and hit himself in the face on purpose. That's not playful? And you really think he could read half of what was going on? In that large group of people I couldn't even understand half what was happening with the chat flooded like that. Maybe he miss understood? Did you bother asking him? Did you interrogate him or ask why he acted the way he did? Or did you just not care for his safety? Did you ask if his character had some sort of mental disability, not allowing him to process the situation? I bet you didn't. Good job officer. And whether or not he does, you knew he was trying to get your attention with the snowballs. We were just having a conversation ten minutes before hand on how he doesn't like to throw the snowballs hard in case it hurts people. He cares for people, and you don't. I know what side I'm on. Go play fortnite with the rest of your twelve year old friends.

And dude, if your in Australia like me, you must have spent all night writing that. And half of it was lies. What is wrong with you?

Woah liam, you didn't have to roast them like that. Though I know it's true. I just wanted to make a point, I didn't mean to have people feeling hurt. Try not to argue please? The officer should learn from their mistakes and move on. And if they wish to apologize I would love to hear it. I did leave some key points out in my larger story but this was to not point fingers at people, it was just to ask if something could be done to help other people who end up in situations like this, that's all. I'm sorry if I came off aggressive, I try not to be. But I guess I won't be coming back for a while. Please think this over. Thanks. Enjoy your day/night.

the Rodspxm guy ran more than 20 blocks. He ran from 11/7 all the way to spawn. If you had of reading it maybe you might've picked up on that?

You mention that the chat was flooded as is, So you tried to be annoying by spamming me whilst I was busy dealing with another player? Isn't a valid point if fall under it too.

All my character did be threaten you with a longer sentence if you divided to attempt to run away (In which I am completely in my right to do so)

I yelled at Rodspqm at least four times to halt before getting out my taser, giving him efficient time to stop his stupid acts.

As for him hitting his face, it doesn't matter as they all hit me (Him and you aiming the snowballs at my back, I was in f5 don't try to deny) your point is false because it is a lie to try and solve the situation.

As for the situation, having a disabilities doesn't warrant them breaking a law, they are a citizen they must abide by the same rules. It's like murdering someone but saying "lol I have autism xd no jail I'm just retarded" not a valid point.

Overall that was a waste of a post trying to discredit mine and the Mod who assisted me, @Flaros. Stop lying about the situation as Muffin and Rodspqm are in the wrong enough as it is

Note - Sorry for poor writing as I am writing this in bed on my phone, I will fix any issues with it tmr once I'm on my PC.

I'm not the third guy whom was arrested too, I was simply a witness that began having fun with muffin and his friends before the event. I was not spamming you or throwing snowball at this time I was just watching. And there is a very big difference between murder and a miss understanding, and you have forgotten to account for game problems, if he lagged or if the chat malfunctioned thanks to the spamming then he had no control over it. You never asked him. And he wasn't behind you, he was to your left and slightly in front, if you say you were in f5 good luck seeing him. And I know where he ran he went the opposite direction of spawn so don't say he ran there. And have you bothered to think about his friend yet? The female who was arrested first did not try to run, barely resisted and only hit you once on accident. Why was she left to rot in a cell as long as he was? You don't even care.

He is right, I'm not going back to the server for a while anyway, so just let my friend go at at least have a much lighter sentence. I care for my friends more than myself and this is truly unfair for her. And I do have internet problems, when I was first running away it was because I was scared of you, and I didn't want to be taserd. When I realized you were trying to arrest me I came straight back to the scene. You should think more about others than yourself alright? And this wasn't to have a go at you or the MOD or I would have said your names in my post. It was only to help others out. You don't have be so negative. Just think about how you would act in this situation. Would it be as calm as I'm trying to be? It doesn't matter, just please think about my friends. Thank you

I know this will get me negatives but are you dumb? The fine is actually accurate you simple minded peanut. Let me list what you did wrong.

Friends don’t matter when it comes To the law.

You evaded arrest

Assaulted a police officer

Interrupted an arrest.

Come with your petty attitude and complain about it, when you could’ve finished developing your new character.

Having the balls to say “you don’t have to Be so negative” if I was SchoolRP, i’d Be downright annoyed.

I’ll say this in the nicest way possible, “respect the police, they could save your life’s one day”.

They have a good enough reason to lock you up, evading and resisting and assault seem good enough to be put behind bars.

Have you read the comments? I misunderstood the officer at first because they were threatening everyone, and I ran simply to not be tazed after getting threatened. Once I realised the situation, I listened to the officer and even came back to the scene because I did not wish to annoy the officer further. I also clearly did not assault the officer, simply throwing snow to get their attention and even playing around with my other friends shouldn't be considered assault as I had no weapons nor did I get physical in any way. You also have to put into account that my character was only 14 years of age. 14! You're all acting like an adult was arrested. And no I'm not dumb, people just don't think as much as I do, and miss the small details. Thanks
