IGN: my current username is dreaaax. What is requested?: I am requesting for my character to have Cyclothymic a type of bipolar disorder! Why do you want it? Drea has experienced a lot in her life as a young child and it would fit her character to have this certain mental illness. It helps you understand how her character personality is more and how her moods would change from being in a good mood to being in a grumpy mood. This is also a big reason why she acts like this due to her mom's passing which would give a reason to her development of the disorder. What good is it for RP? As I have stated in the last question it helps get a better understanding of why the character acts the way it acts. This disorder doesn’t affect Drea much as it did as when she was a child but she still suffers from it till this day. Which would mean it would make the roleplay interesting and more climatic as I would say! Character Backstory: Andrea Yamazaki also referred to as Drea and Ms. Yamazaki was a young female born in Turn, Italy. She grew up with her teen parents Luca and Claudette Milanesi who were raising her when they just finished their last year of high-school which meant they were a freshman in college. Drea at a young age lost her mother due to a car accident which damaged her and her father very badly. She was very close to her mother and looked up to her mother and with her death, it made her very depressed. She experienced a lot of feelings most six-year-olds would experience at such a young age. Drea became cold and numb after her mother’s death some said she was a ghost. She also developed a change of emotions quickly as one minute she would be happy and in the next fifteen minutes, she would get angry for no reason what so ever. As she grew older, of course, she learned to get over the sadness from the loss of her mother but she experienced a lot of mood swings throughout her early years of being an adolescent. Later on as she became an adult and adopted the young family of the Yamazaki’s she would experience mood swings, even more, stressing over how she had to take care of kids but she couldn’t even take care of herself but she was so in love with the children that she cared about them more than her mental health. These kids were like her life she would do anything to keep them safe as she wanted to be the mother figure her mom could not provide her due to her death. Now she still struggles with mood swings and controlling her emotions but she is still little by little learning to love herself and control her inner mood swings. Later on, as she just turned twenty-six she was diagnosed with Cyclothymic a type of Bipolar disorder, which this type includes symptoms of hypomania and depression that last for 2 years or more in adults or 1 year in children.
