Can you ensure that you will often come on:
Yes, especially with the current world situation, I have much free time that I can dedicate to SchoolRP, and specifically time that I can dedicate being active as a school librarian.

Do you recognize that you can be ICly fired?:
Yes, for a number of reasons, like inactivity, or breaking any number of rules that apply to school employees.

In as much detail as possible, describe the role of your chosen school employee:
As a school librarian, you are a keeper of every single book there. Students will come in to use the library either as a study hall, or a place to quietly read either before, after, or in between class, and it's your job to make that able for those students by always being there for the students for when they want to explore new book options, and keep the library quiet while students are reading or using the area to study. The library isn't to be treated like a playground, it should be kept a quiet and calm place of learning, another one of the duties of the librarian is to fulfill that.

Do you have any past experience in this type of roleplay?:

I don't have experience as a librarian, or school employee directly, but I was a college professor twice, first for a little over a month, and for nearly three months the second time. I was dealing with students hands-on, having some of the best and the not so best students. I believe this gave me knowledge on what to do in situations where a student may be acting out of order, and what to do to punish them accordingly.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
Along with that, I'm currently on the high school swim team, which I've been on for a few months now, which gives me the most recent roleplay experience of a student on the server. Something which has little correlation to the school, but has still been a major part of my experience is my time as a hospital staff in this recent year, I've got to seriously roleplay, and MedicalRP, and among many other things which deal with situations that involve GangRP and the KPD. When I first returned to the server as well I had a not so successful period with the KPD, as only a cadet, but I still had the experience and learned a lot about roleplay from it.

Are you familiar with what your job does? If so, describe it:
As a librarian, you are mainly there to help students with any questions they have about checking out books, along with checking out said books. Doing so by learning the system put in place to give students the ability to check them out. Also as a librarian, you're in charge of keeping the library in order, this means to keep students under control, keeping them quiet and calm. Mainly students will be on the floor for quiet study, checking out books, or quietly be with friends. Librarians may seem like a small part of the day-to-day life of students, but they're major in being able to give students the proper resources they need to make their learning experience the best it could be.

[Situations]

During a work shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how do you react?:
I'd start off as calmly asking the student why they feel the need to curse me out, while kindly asking them to stop doing so before action and punishment has to be taken, with kindness, if they're still curing me out, I would slowly start to raise the way I talk to them, getting louder and more strict with my voice until they stop cursing me out and leave. If this still is not successful, I'll have a school staff member called to the library, like a high school or college teacher, or one of the principals, or the dean, to come to have the student removed from the area to be further punished and looked into by them.

You are doing a hazardous job requested by the School Principal, how do you react?:
After getting a brief description of the task at hand, I'll go ahead to perform the task to the best of my ability, going as far as to complete it until it puts the safety and health of me or others. If I successfully complete the task, I'll go to the principal and tell them that the task has been completed. If I'm not able to, I'll tell them that it was too risky for either the health and safety of myself or others and hope that they're able to find the right person for the task. But as a school librarian, I don't think this will ever be the case.

Another school employee is doing something very dangerous on the job or acting out of order, how do you react?:
I would immediately act on the worker, telling them to stop their actions before consequences are taken against the worker, and then I'd remind the worker of those said consequences. If they aren't planning on stopping anytime soon, I'd call a high ranking school staff member, once they've arrived I'd work with the schools higher up to stop the worker from doing whatever dangerous act they're doing, whenever they're able to finally be able to be stopped, I'll hand over the situation to what would assumingly be the principal, for the employee to be punished accordingly.

Applicant Name:

Yeo Ja-Hwa Fujiwara

Chosen Job:

School Librarian

Motivation for Joining KHS:
I’ve loved reading since I was a child, I spent lots of my school years in the library, or at my home reading books from the library. I adored the librarians and they adored me, they were able to give me the resource that I needed to get through school, I used it as a safe space for when I needed quiet time, or when I needed a place of study. I moved to this town a while back and have fallen in love with it, and saw the perfect opportunity to give a large number of students the environment that I had to help me to succeed. I’ve worked well with students in the past at different schools as a teacher, actually having students thank me dearly for the work that I’ve done, and to give myself a more calm route for me progress in life, I have decided to pursue a career that I’ve always had a special place for in my heart, I promise that I’ll care and protect the books at the library, while also making sure to give these students my all with anything that they may need from me.

Age (Minimum age is 25):
38 years old.

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I would say that the main two reasons I rise over other candidates for the job is my dedication. I have my family first, then my work. I solemnly swear to put my best self out to the students, making the library a safe and quiet space for them to read and learn. I swear to always serve the students for their needs, helping them check any books out, along with helping them find the perfect book for them. I will also be there for the students like me who have a desire to learn, making this environment possible by clearing the area of any students who dare act out of order.
