Trivia

What is your motivation for becoming a teacher?:
My main motivation for becoming a teacher on SchoolRP is related to my goals out of character of possibly becoming a teacher in the class. I previously taught on the server. Secondly, I believe that the teachers play a huge role on SchoolRP in general, they play the role of entertaining the players who are new or old based on how they entertain. This means that you have to be serious but funny.

Do you have any experience in Roleplaying?: I believe that I have a considerable amount of roleplaying experience at this stage, whether it’s on SchoolRP itself as well as outside. Currently I'm wanting to do TeacherRP since as a student in SchoolRP is not as entertaining.

Have you read the Faculty Handbook?:

Although the Faculty Handbook has been removed, I have read all possible threads regarding teachers already and I know most of the basics from my current involvement in the High-School.

What are the classroom logs and why is it important?:

The classroom logs are for teachers to document their classes and lessons they provide for the class. It shows that a teacher is active and is doing their job properly and not slacking off. It’s proof to other staff members that a teacher is actually doing their job and isn’t inactive, otherwise, they would be demoted for inactivity and/or slacking off.

You want to start a school field trip; how do you do that?:

If I were to start a field trip, I would first plan out in detail where the trip will be and what is the purpose of the trip. I would include details on what will be done at the trip site and how many supervisors shall attend along with me to help keep watch of the students. I will then set up a meeting with the Vice Principal to talk about my plans for the trip. If the trip were to be approved I would then gather the supervisors together and write and print out copies of field trip forms for the students to be able to go on the field trip.

As a teacher, what are the strict rules when being in a class?:

1. Don't be shy and share your own ideas. It may great and very helpful to the class.

2. Be respectful to anybody talking, that would be disrespectful if someone was talking over you.

3. Be a learner not a finisher. Finishing may be fun and exciting but not so when you rush and get it wrong. Learning is very important practicing and taking your time is better than just rushing.

4. Own your education. Do not worry if you got a F yes it is not a pleasing grade but, you could always bring it up by learning what is best for you. Own your education and don't own others. Following the path you need to be an excellent student is what matters the most.

5. Do not eat or drink the classroom. The computers are quite expensive. I buy the books and the paper you need so any drink spilling on it would be awful. ( Drinks are only allowed if you are on a prescription)

6. Do not cheat, remember own your education. Everyone is on a different path than you. One day you may cheat and find out they were wrong.

7. If you take out your phone, you will be warned that if you take it out but if you do it again it will be confiscated.

Summarize your previous RP experience's (both in general and on SchoolRP):

For several years, I have dedicated myself to writing as a hobby. Roleplay was a natural choice. In the past, on my main account, one of my characters worked in the library at Heartbucks. I also worked as a history teacher. I’ve been involved in this specific community since September of 2018, despite taking a break from mid-October through the start of March. Although the majority of my roleplay experience does not lie in Minecraft servers, I firmly trust in my own abilities and believe that I am capable of performing this job and doing it well.

Describe the ranking system of teachers:

- HD: Head of Department. They watch over the entirety of certain subjects, create the curriculum, and ensure that QTLS and NQTs have the skills necessary to teach their students.

- QTLS: Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills. These teachers do not need aid from the Department Head to teach their classes, as they have proven themselves to be qualified at their jobs.

- NQT: Newly Qualified Teacher. At the bottom of the ranks are the NQTs. The HDs watch over them intently, and they must have permission to teach a class, as the HD has yet to be convinced of their abilities.

Teacher Knowledge
Present to us your knowledge about Teachers in-game and out-of-game, what purpose do teachers serve. What salary do they get? Include a paragraph about the way teachers teach, what they do in their spare time in general:

Teachers are responsible for the future of their students. Although their position within SRP is not quite as impactful as that of teacher out-of-game, they are still incredibly important to the player base. A good teacher could save a reckless student from a life of misery, a fact which is relevant to the server itself, considering how many of the Grade 12s are involved in gang-related activities. Generally speaking, in Japan, teachers make anywhere between 200,000 yen and 600,000 yen per month. Teaching typically extends well past the time spent in the school itself. The piles of school-work must be carried home by teachers and graded quickly, which leaves them with little time for themselves. A teacher must be truly dedicated to their job.

Why are teachers important to a SchoolRP server?:
Teachers in SRP set an example for their students. As previously stated, they can be a guiding force in the life of a troubled child. In moments of need, which often arrive in-game, a student should be able to contact a trusted adult. A teacher should be thought of as such.

What lesson planning system does the school work on?:
Currently, it runs on MoSCo, which stands for: Must Have, Should Have, Would Have.

Character Knowledge

Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. How does he look like? What makes him unique and different? What is his outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is his personality like? What is his plan for the future?
Scarlett Valeron is a petite French woman with a cheery disposition. She carries herself with a slight bounce to her walk, aiming to better the days of her students and colleagues. Due to her young age, she’s a bit naive when it comes to believing students’ excuses and overwhelming herself when trying to help others. Often, Suzume can be found going out of her way to take on others’ workloads. However, none of this means she will go easy on her students! Her kind heart leads to many things, but none of them are a tolerance for disrespect. She is a woman of strong moral standing, which she rarely sways on. Although she’s quite happy with her life in Karakura, Suzume would like to one day travel the world. She has a great thirst for knowledge and new experiences; in fact, it was part of what led her to teach to begin with.

Scenarios

You find a gang of delinquents in the hallway cursing and swearing, what do you do?:
Scarlett would firstly, ask them nicely to stop what they’re doing and behave. If it gets out of hand, they’ll receive detention after school. If it's any worse, she’d stay professional and calm as she reports to other teachers that are higher than him or school staff to help with the situation.

No one in your class is listening to a word you say, what do you do?:
If the class isn’t listening. Scarlett would tell them to line up in a perfect line formation, yelling them to drop down and do either twenty push-ups, sit-ups or burpees. If one student messes up, the whole class will have to start again if there isn’t any teamwork. It’ll add up more reps, more than twenty if they don’t work together as a team. If they still fail to comply with Taiga, she would kick them out from her class.

When in the teacher's lounge, how does your character act?:
In the lounge, Scarlett is normally either going over school assignments or going over what she's going to provide for the next class if she's alone of course. When Scarlett isn't alone she would continue to go over work but talk with the other teachers about how their class went to make conversation, but she would stay on top of things just till the bell rang then she heads back to her class for another lesson. Her attitude would be calm and passive, yet welcoming for the majority of the time and she would seem mostly relaxed towards her co-workers normally being slightly quiet she’d jump into conversations if she had something to say.

Provide at least 5 detailed /me's of your character inside a classroom:

/me She'd grab a pile of packets off her table and started making her way around the classroom, quickly handing out the packets to each student she passed

/me She'd smile to her students, picking up a small piece of chalk off the tray beneath the board

/me She'd take the chalk and quickly write her name, "Ms. Valeron" in cursive with the chalk.

/me She'd motion for the students to take out their notebook as she began to jot down notes onto the chalkboard.

/me She'd stroll around the room and would tap on _____'s desk in hopes to get their attention.

/me She'd glare at two students who were talking, raising her hand and putting her pointer finger over her mouth in hopes to shush them.

Backstory

Scarlett Valeron is born in a quiet village in France. She's a cheerful and funny person and she is loving to her friends and family. As she got older, her parents' expectations got larger and larger. As she entered grade school, she was expected to be at the top of her classes and always being successful. She was expected to only get As. A B or lower would get her yelled at. As she would carry on through her school life, living up to her parent's expectations, she decided that maybe moving to another country would help her learn more. She discussed this idea with her dear parents, and after hours of pleading, she finally convinced them. As time went on, Scarlett graduated high school and went onto College . She decided that she wanted to be something in the academic field, and suggested being a teacher. Scarlett thought this was an awesome idea so she agreed. Scarlett realized that her job wasn't treating her so well so she quit. They decided that they were definitely moving to Karakura to get a fresh start and job purposes, so they did. As soon as they got there, probably a week or two later, Scarlett applied to be an History teacher at the local high school. She thankfully got accepted, and that's where she is now. The entire family was happy.

- You made a laughable attempt at making an application, seeing as it’s plagiarized from a previously accepted application. The original creator of the application spent incredible effort in making their own, copying it is nothing more than absolutely disrespectful, and something we on the teacher team do not tolerate whatsoever.

You're welcome to reapply at the end of the month with your own work.
