I want to talk about why I quit SchoolRP

You're basically saying you're not smart enough to get scammed, just with much better vocabulary. As a person who spent most of his time on the server to himself, the simple solution to not being scammed is not trusting anyone so easily, that's why you get scammed in the first place, trusting strangers is the reason why you get scammed.

If you wanna leave the server just because of your imprudence, then go ahead man, it's your choice, but really, not trying to be mean or anything, don't trust strangers. SchoolRP is a RealismRP server, even though there isn't as many "realistic" situations, scamming and toxicity is sadly, quite common in the real world, as long as toxicity and scamming is not occurring in the Out of Character parts- Then it's not against the rules because it's just roleplay.

You might have misunderstood what I’ve meant. I don’t trust people that easily, it’s not like whoever tried to scam me will 100% successfully scam me, it’s that somehow I’m always the target of the scammers. If you still cannot understand what I meant, then I don’t know how to explain. English isn’t my first language, sorry if I caused confusion.

You need to start talking to people. I'm a nice person & you seem like a good person to talk to. You seem like an outgoing person but this is just your POV of people on SRP, not mine. Maybe if you got to know other people, then maybe you will meet people who are nice & not scammers. I meet friends of friends, like I meet people who are my friends, then I meet their friends. Who knows, you could meet someone who is really nice.

You can't blatantly assume that ALL of the server is filled with scammers or people you can't trust after the first time your guard has been let down through a group of people. Like above comments have said, maybe you haven't seen all of the types of people on the server, I expected you to have this knowledge because as you said, you've "played SchoolRP for a long time". Plus if you can't find the barrier between IC and OOC when it comes to IC actions and OOC actions, then you're quite right, SchoolRP isn't the place for you. Nonetheless, I don't think your reasoning is valid and it is rather narrow-minded to leave SchoolRP. But oh well, that's not my battle, see you if you return.

While this is a topic, I'm gonna throw other things I don't exactly like about the SRP community;

Honestly, I feel like school roleplay is extremely hard to get back into after leaving, I remember back in the earlier stages people used to be so friendly and welcoming. Now? I feel like everyone's so closed off, it's like high school all over again. Once people have a friendship groups, they don't even give you a second glance. No shade. It's just so hard to meet new people now days, I wish there was more togetherness and not any hostility and salt towards others.​

you go to the wrong people, you cant assume like that, it's like saying EVERYONE in th world is annoying, they're not.

Actually, It depends on the crowd you go into. If you make a friendship Group among GangRpers or Thieves or something, don't be surprised when you become a victim. Now if you don't let your guard down or not trust so easily, it won't happen. I haven't seen a lot of scamming on srp lately, you should give it another try.

I understand what you guys are trying to say, I never assumed everybody are scammers, and this is also the reason why I started to talk to people at the first place. But what happened is that I am so unlucky that whoever I talked to tried to scam me. Some people say I’m not smart, well if I’m not smart I would not be able to even tell they’re trying to scam me. What’s going on is like, when people besides me walk down the street, “Hello there!” “How are you?” “Have a nice day!” When I walk down the street, all nice people are offline or just too far away, scammers everywhere. Maybe I’m just being too extreme, but that’s exactly what I thought before. So I waited for the day when I can finally meet someone nice... So I waited, waited, and waited... And never met anyone that are not scammers. Even right now I STILL BELIEVE there’re nice people there (just like you guys), but it’s just that I gave up... No clue how much time until I can find someone nice. So I stopped, and quit.
Again, seeing all these responses does make me feel better and rise my hope on SchoolRP community. You guys are good & nice people. (Especially you @Relevance , been a long time since I’ve ever seen you.) I’m not really sure when will I pick up SchoolRP again since it has been a really really really long time since I’ve been on SchoolRP (not kidding). If I do, well, I hope things will get better.

I don’t scam people. I eat them. Nah I’m playing but someone might try to scam you icly but might not think it’s ok oocly they are only acting how their character acts. I remember one time on my jock I was being a bully and I beat someone and they started crying it made me feel bad. You have to understand that people aren’t doing it just to spite you they are just acting like the character they built up in there heads and if they character is a robber and a scammer then he or she is going to rob and scam. Anyways at the end of the day it’s your choice if you wanna quit then quit.
