What is your motivation for applying?: I haven’t seen a preforming arts teacher on so I thought I would apply. Also, I think it would be a fun and enjoyable role but at the same time Challenging

You want to start a school field trip, what would you do?

I would have to ask the principal and submit a form to what the purpose of the trip it. It would also have to be within the budgetary limits.

As a teacher, what are the strict rules when being in a class:

The rules would be to Respect the teacher and fellow classmates and don’t talk when they are

No arguing with one another

Don’t Back-talk a teacher

No phones out

Do what the teacher says as they say it for a reason

Stay seated

Don’t leave class unless permitted


Summarize your previous experience (both in general and teacher wise):

I have been on the school board at my school multiple times. The school board is a way for students to introduce and interview new teachers. I have also had to help substitute teachers many times and I have a close bond with all my teachers. I have researched a lot on how teachers are supposed to work as I have had a variety of bad teachers at my school. Finally, I have experience dealing with kids as I babysit every so often. The kids I babysit range from about 4-12.

From your perspective as of right now, identify one thing you would change about the Teacher Group. Why would you change that? I would change the ranking system slightly so that Trainees can host classes but only with:

A: Permission from the HD

B: A supervising teacher (QTLS+)



KNOWLEDGE


Present to us your knowledge about Teachers in-game and out-of-game, what purpose do they serve, what salary they get. Include a paragraph about the way teachers teach, what they do in their spare time in general.

Teachers serve the purpose of adding an enjoyable learning experience for players, adding a bit more realism to the server and making a way for players to be able to work for a better rank, I.E jobs, teachers, Police Officers ECT.

Why are teachers important to a SchoolRP server:

As stated before they add an amount of realism to the server. Personally, classes in SRP are much more fun than in real life. They add an extra bit of depth to the server, another reason why it is one of the best servers.

Also with Schools and teachers, it wouldn’t be School Roleplay

Describe the ranking system of teachers:

Trainee – Trainee’s observe the teachings of other teachers if permitted by the teacher. They would be unable to start lessons but would be able to help out with other teachers lessons. They are there to learn about how the school works.


NQT - Newly Qualified Teacher if the rank after Trainee. They can start up a class if granted permission from HD. This gives them experience on the job and allows them to see what it’s like to be a qualified teacher


QTLS - Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills are able to host lessons whenever they wish to so long as the other teachers are aware of what time they are teaching. It is basically the basic, normal teacher.

HD - The head of department is in charge of running the department and insuring that the teachers in there subject are following the CoC. They are also in charge of the NQT’s lessons


What lesson planning system does the school work on?:

The planning system uses the “Must have, should have, could have” System.

My old primary school had this in the form of “Red Amber Green” Red was must have, amber was should have and green was could have

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE


Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. How does he look like? What makes him unique and different? What is his outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is his personality like? What is his plan for the future?

My characters name is Gray Hemil. He would be 5’8” and weighs 146lbs. He has hazel eyes, brown hair and would wear casual clothing which would represent his teaching style, he would be a fairly laid-back teacher unless students were messing around in his lesson. He would be known as the type of teacher who could go from kind to mad in an instant if someone seriously endangered other students. Though most of the time he would be a down to earth guy. He tries best to help his students as much as possible. His plans would be to stick with teaching as it was he loves.



SCENARIOS


You find a gang of delinquents in the hallway cursing and swearing, what do you do?: I would first give them a verbal warning, informing them what they are doing is wrong and that if they continued there would be consequences. If they continued I would issue a detention for them. If they still continued I would ask a member of the Senior Leadership Team to sort it out


No one in your class is listening to a word you say, what do you do?

I would ask them to listen a minimum of 2 times, if they still ignored me I would threaten them with detention if they didn’t start concentrating, if they still continued I would follow through with the punishment, adding on time whenever they weren’t concentrating. If they started to settle down and start listening, I would remove time, they would be informed of this. The starting time would be 5 minutes and would be increased/decreased from there


When in a teacher lounge, how does your character act?

He would be a friendly and approachable person and would be kind to the fellow member of staff. I would usually be drinking a hot beverage such as Coffee or Hot chocolate though I would still have convocations with the staff team, inquiring about their classes and offer to help if I had nothing to do next period

/me He’d write the number “5” on the board, indicating that the students would be staying behind 5 minutes because of their behaviour

BACKSTORY



Gray had a great love for Drama when he was in High-School, his teacher was a kind, caring and fun teacher to have. He always looked up to her as his inspiration, wanting to be just like her when he grew up. He worked hard trying to get the best grades he could in Drama and when the time came he got A, very close to an A+! He was overwhelmed with his grade and finally decided what he wanted his career choice to be, he wanted students to have the same opportunities he had so decided to become a Performing Arts teacher. When he told his Drama teacher she was overwhelmed with happiness, telling him that he was her favourite student but not to tell the others! He hosted the Drama club in his old school, which lead him to become even more successful and gave him first-hand experience dealing with younger children and teaching others about drama. When he went off to College in Japan his Drama teacher, who missed him dearly, wished him the best and gave him a certificate which was very rare to get which wrote “Rock challenge 2001 Award for outstanding performance” since he performed in rock challenge. This was a blessing to receive and was sad to leave Miss Brooke for good.

He went off to College his Major being Performing Arts and his minors being Public Speaking and Dance. He performed just as excellently as he did in High School, getting amazing grades and pleasing his professors. Finally, he graduated with a Masters award and went on the lookout for a Job. It was tough, much tougher than any drama technique he had mastered or any accomplishment he had been awarded because there were the very limited amount of people hiring, finally he saw an opportunity at Karakura High School. He took it immediately and he got the job! Leading him to now.
