Shop wanted: #11
Why do you want to own a shop?: I would like to own a shop because I'd love to become more involved with the members of the city (and SRP community, when thinking OOC-ly) and have some more social outlets for both students and adults. This would be done by separating the seating areas - offering the upstairs area for specific groups and the main floor for faster service (similarly done at Starbucks, etc). I also enjoy increasing interactive experiences, with a cute and authentic cafe for guests to enjoy either a coffee or read a short story.

What do you plan to do with the shop?: I plan to take this cafe as it is for the most part, and sell a variety of cafe-esque snacks and drinks (set up a menu which will either be found in a book or posted on a wall, unsure yet of those specifics) as well as sell homemade books. So in addition to the food/drink items on the menu, there will also be some items like notebooks and pencils sold. I'd like to keep this shop as authentic to a cafe as possible, much like a Starbucks or small-town cafes. This also includes hosting events (as mentioned below) such as slam poetry readings, writing competitions, and local author talks or discussion forums based on various topics.

How will your shop be unique?: This shop will be unique because while it is a cafe, it will also be an opportunity for local community gatherings. We would host events like poetry performances, writing competitions, and would sell/give out books written by community members based. It is also unique because of the fact that applications will be continuously open and accepted on an as-needed basis (see below).

How many employees are you planning to have?: I would plan on having on having 5-10 workers on average, but would continually accept applications, adding workers based on strong applications/dedication to the shop. However, I would max the number of workers at 15, and send out either weekly activity reports to ensure that all of the workers are active. @Michelle ♡ would help co-own/manage and hire new workers.
