Official Midnight Club | Japanese Street Racing

What is the Midnight Club?

The Midnight Club itself is based off of both a Video Game & a Real Life street racing team, based in Japan within the 1980s before disbanding in 1999.

It grew in popularity as the club was different to most others who were simply careless at the time. Racers that were apart of this club had to stick to moral codes or in other words a 'code of conduct' in which if they were to go against they would be dropped from the club, instantly.

The club itself consisted of ONLY the best of the best and they wouldn't settle for less. This is due to one of the many moral codes that you'll soon discover. To even be considered to be let into the club you'd have to be an exceptionally good driver.

WIKIPEDIA
The Midnight Club also known as Midnight Racing Team (Japanese: ミッド ナイト クラブ) (Chinese: 午夜俱乐部赛车队) was a Japanese and Hong Kongese street racing association that hosted illegal top speed themed races on the Bayshore Route (known natively as the Wangan) of the Shuto Expressway between Tokyo to Yokohama in Japan and former Route 7 between Causeway Bay and Aberdeen in Hong Kong. The street racing team and subsequent club was formed in 1982 and was active (as a racing team) until 1999, prior to partial disbandment and remaining only as a close knit club.

How do I join?

To join the club, it isn't as easy as the other clubs as this is governed by a series of rules and is far better organised.

Only 10% of drivers partaking in the public races would even qualify for full membership and they would have to leave if they posed a danger to other motorists and to other members.

The high standard of the drivers makes it difficult for the police to catch them, as police cars currently are limited to 180 km/h (110 mph), a legal requirement set - And thus the police cars can not catch cars that were driving 180 km/h or faster.

But now that you've been given some context, to join is to simply be spotted at one of the many public held races as an extraordinary driver & from there you will be spoken to in regards to an invite, privately. No job application needed, no job interview. Just prove your worth and it'll all fall right into your hands.

How do I join the races?

Races held by the Midnight Club will be anonymously broadcasted to the mobile phones of every CITIZEN in Karakura from a undisclosed source and both location. From there those who wish to partake can arrive at the designated location and join in. Or most commonly will be done through a Discord Message.

Races can usually be bet on, bets can vary from money, vehicles, property and whatever else comes to mind. Just know that if you put a bet on something you must follow through with paying up if you are to be at loss.

If you're in need of a quick cash grab or a place to show off your car. This is for you.

1) Competitive drivers are expected to be able to achieve racing speeds of at least 200mph or more on Karakura’s public roads.

2) Members must refrain from putting any other motorist in jeopardy, regardless of whether they were a fellow racer or an innocent bystander and, despite operating outside of the law, the Midnight Club is highly regarded as a 'gang' which puts pedestrian safety far above their own.

3) Any member can be made to immediately leave if they were deemed to pose a danger to other road users or to other members of the organization.

4) All members must have secluded themselves to secrecy with most flat-out refusing to talk about, or even mention their association with the club under any circumstances.
