School Employee Role you are Applying For:
I am applying for the Lunchtime Monitor role.

How often do you log onto the server?:
Usually, I’ll be on almost every day at around 3:30 PM EST on normal weekdays, during the weekends I should be active quite frequently meaning that I’ll be slightly more available during the weekends but nevertheless I do log on at least once every two days for about 2-5 hours depending on how much free time I have throughout my day.

Do you have discord?:
Yes, my Discord is MintyPebble#3479. I’ll usually be very active on discord due to the fact that I have discord downloaded on both my phone and my computer. I get notified every time I get a message so I try to respond as quickly as possible.

Do you have a microphone?:
Yes, I do have a microphone, I don’t have much trouble with talking in front of large groups or in a call with many people.

Have you ever been banned, If yes when and why?:
No, I have not been banned before and I plan to continue to abide by the SchoolRP rules.

Can you ensure that you will often come on:
Yes, I can assure you that I log on almost every day and I'm incredibly active when it comes to in character jobs and out of character tasks. As I stated before in the third question, I try to get on at least once every two days and I also make sure that I don’t miss announcements and keep up to speed with any updates regarding the discord, the forums, and or the server.

Do you recognize that you can be ICly fired?:
Of course, I acknowledge that I can be ICly fired from the role of Lunchtime Monitor. I understand that if my character acts reckless or in a way that can be deemed unworthy of the position I can be fired ICly. I know that when working as a Lunchtime Monitor my character has an image to hold up and has to ensure that the school is at it’s best for its students, school staff, and visitors.

In as much detail as possible, describe the role of your chosen school employee:
A Lunchtime Monitor is someone who is responsible for making sure that the students aren’t misbehaving and is also responsible for the cleanliness of the lunchroom. The main purpose of the Lunchtime Monitor is to observe the students' behavior but if there is anything that is a safety hazard the Lunchtime Monitor is also accountable for making sure that none of the students gets hurt during the process of removing the safety hazard. The Lunchtime Monitor can also be assigned other side tasks by higher-ups at any time and must be able to react in a situation as such with speed and efficiency. Lunchtime Monitors should also be on alert at all times for any dangers that may come to the students and or any school staff. A Lunchtime Monitor must be able to control a crowd calmly, an example would be, many students are screaming in the hallways, the Lunchtime Monitor should be able to calmly and quickly direct the crowd of students to quiet down and stop making disruptions. The Lunchtime Monitor and any other school role must act properly and create a professional and safe environment for the students to work in. Any and all school employees have to set an example for the students so that the school doesn’t go into chaos, the teachers and school staff keep the school calm and in ship-shape.

Do you have any past experience in this type of role-play?:
In this specific side of role-play, I have not had much experience. However, I have seen many people with this role in doing their job as one of my assets is observation and I have noticed how these people deal with their responsibilities. Even if I haven’t personally worked as this position, I believe I can adapt to this occupation immediately.

What experience, in general, do you have in role-play?:
On the server, I am experienced with roleplaying as a student, a worker at many different shops, a manager with responsibilities in many shops, and even as a shop co-owner. I have been role-playing on SchoolRP for about one to three years in total and I’ve read through the rules thoroughly multiple times, now comprehending them completely. I am also familiar with the commands as well: /me, /mel, /y, /w, /my, /looc, /rh, /am, /sit, etc. I have been involved in many roleplays ranging from BusinessRP to StudentRP to many other RPs.

Are you familiar with what your job does? If so, describe it:
As a Lunchtime Monitor, it is my job to make sure that the students are safe and eating properly. I have to always be aware of what is going on because it is my job to clean up spills before anyone slips, make sure no disputes or fights happen and make sure that there is nothing that can harm a student. I have to have social skills because a big part of my job is being able to speak to both school staff members and students. If a higher-up asks me to do a task for them and it is school related I am obliged to do the task, an example of a task would be to evacuate all of the students in the lunchroom the to dojo due to something that has occurred in RP. One of the things that a Lunchtime Monitor may have to do is to clean up a spill that happened in a certain area to make sure that none of the students slip and fall. Another duty of a Lunchtime Monitor is to make sure that all rules are enforced in the lunchroom. I should be able to create a warm environment for the students to eat in. If someone is injured in any way I should be prepared to help that child in every way possible, an example could be carrying them to the nurses' office and or taking them to the EMT because the nurse isn’t available or even going to an extreme event and having an ambulance on speed dial. I should be able to ‘maintain order’ meaning that I should be able to keep the children calm and make sure that no fights will break loose and that no matter where I am in the school, that everyone is safe. If it isn’t lunchtime I am walking around the campus making sure that the students are safe and overall making sure that the school is suitable for students, the school staff, and any visitors. The Lunchtime Monitor would also have to be able to help students when getting lunch, getting situated, and cleaning up. If there is someone that his having troubles in the lunch line then the Lunchtime Monitor is there to solve the problem and bring everything back to its normal pace.

[Situations]

During a work shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how do you react?:
I would ask the student gently to calm down and be quiet and to stop cursing, if the student still isn’t listening and creates a disruption, I would report it to a higher position and until the higher position gets there I would tell the student that if they walk away they will most likely be suspended and if the act up while we wait then they will most likely get detention. After the situation is over I would make sure that the incident doesn't happen again and if it does I am to be prepared to follow the same procedure but with more ease.

You are doing a hazardous job requested by the School Principal, how do you react?:
I would at first question the hazardous job; I would make sure the situation wasn't harmful to me or others as I wouldn't do a task that could severely harm me in any way, shape, or form. If this job weren't too dangerous, I would do so. I would also try to ensure that no one else would be harmed during the performance of this task when reassured I would then continue on with the task. I’d also try to make sure that I do the task carefully because it is a hazardous job and I would not want to hurt others when I carry out the duty. I would also ensure that I am completing the task at a timely matter while still doing the task as proper as I possibly can.

Another school employee is doing something very dangerous on the job or acting out of order, how do you react?:
First off, I would make sure that my fellow employee wasn't in any harms way because I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I allowed them to do something that could hurt them. I would also try to ensure that they were experienced with what they were doing and even if they were I would take action and tell them that this wasn't safe for them to do. I would also attempt to remind them of the rules and that they also needed to abide by them and not just enforce them. After doing so I would proceed to mark down their name and the date and time of the incident and then report the situation at hand to higher personnel.

Applicant Name:
My name is Ryouichi Shibuya

Chosen Job:
I am confidently applying for the Lunchtime Monitor role.

Motivation for Joining YHS:
Ever since I moved to this city I have been looking through job options and none have interested me until I saw that there was an open Lunchtime Monitor position. It has now become my goal and aspiration to get this occupation and keep the students safe at all costs. I love working with children, and I love the idea of being busy for the majority of my day. I feel like this job will be a great new experience and I am extremely willing to throw myself on this journey. I feel like the school environment will be a great change and I would easily adjust to it.

Age:

97

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
The reason why I should be accepted over other applicants is not only because my fast pace working style would be perfect in situations where students are acting up or put in a dangerous setting, but also that I have always worked well with kids and I can easily understand tasks when given to me. If an employee asks for assistance I will often be free and able to help because my schedule is open and I take work serious enough to take on this position. Being able to communicate has always been a strength of mine and to possess the ability to conversate with the kids and becoming a familiar face that the students can come to if I indeed obtain this position. As I mentioned before, I love being busy for the majority of my day, I hate having tons of free time and I feel like this would be a great way for me to pass the time with my fully devoted attention. I know that I can take on the role of this job because I am aware of how everything works and how my job is supposed to be done. I also know that I will work well in a school environment because I have never had issues with kids and I'm generally a friendly person that is open to diversity.
