[OOC section]

In Game Name
:
OwORP (Main account is YourFavoriteLoli, i’m applying with my alternate account.)

School Employee Role you are Applying For:
Lunchtime Monitor.

How often do you log onto the server?:
I often log on for two to three hours on the weekdays, due to having to focus on school, getting work done improving grades, etc. On weekends, I normally log on for four to six hours, it all depends on if my friends are on, when I do decide to go on SchoolRP.

Do you have discord?:
Yes, Courtney#5807.

Do you have a microphone?:
Yes. I prefer typing when it comes to being in Voice Chats. Sorry, i’m shy when it comes to talking to people i'm not very close with.

Have you ever been banned, If yes when and why?:
Yes, once when I was newer to the server (couple months ago) and I wasn’t as mature as I should of been, so I decided to metagame in order to not lose my character, the second one was a mistake, my character was being killed, and my dad wanted me to help him do yard work for him, so I had to go, due to his old age he can’t do as much as he wanted, and I even had proof of this, but I still got banned for ‘AvoidRP’ but it was classified as a mistake on Sams part, so I got unbanned a couple hours later.

Can you ensure that you will often come on?:
Yes.

Do you recognise that you can be ICly fired?:
Yes, I do.

In as much detail as possible, describe the role of your chosen school employee:
The Lunchtime Monitor is supposed to watch (monitor) the students when it is during meal services, making sure their behavior isn’t harming any other students, and to make sure they’re being respectful, they also assist with the cleanliness of the cafeteria, making sure it is a healthy and safe environment for students to talk with their friends, get their meals, and just have fun, without having to worry about the environment, and assisting with the flow of meal service, so the kids can get their meals quickly, and won’t have to grow impatient and wait, due to disorderly conduct, or any other situation revolving students.

Do you have any past experience in this type of roleplay?:
I wouldn’t necessarily say I have any past experience in this type of roleplay, but I feel like it would be a good opportunity for me to get a chance at having different situations, instead of just roleplaying as a student all the time, and it would also help me improve my roleplaying.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I’ve been on multiple different roleplay servers, been roleplaying for around two years, mostly consisting of generic high school situations, yet the situations tend to turn into something else, such as being mature, taking on other jobs, and things like that. I also tend to roleplay on discord with closer friends, often improving my ‘vocabulary’ and making me use more details, also roleplaying in two different restaurants, so i’m used to dealing with disrespect and bad behavior (when it comes to the job i’m applying for).

Are you familiar with what your job does? If so, describe it:
The lunchtime monitor would walk around the cafeteria, inspecting the students behavior, making sure they aren’t doing anything reckless that can endanger other students, and if they are, my character would step in and stop it. It also comes with making sure the flow of things is quick and simple for students, so they don’t have to wait for their food, and so they can get their hungry stomachs filled. Making sure the cafeteria is clean before the students decide to come get their breakfast, or lunch (referring back to the role of my chosen school employee.) Also making sure all students follow the rules in the halls, outside of classrooms, in club rooms, etc, to make sure every student is safe and does not have to worry about some reckless students not following the rules, as this can endanger some of them.

[Situations]

During a workshift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how do you react?:
I would advise them to cease their behavior, if they continue I would attempt to talk to them and figure out what has them acting this way, because it’s most likely due to something they’re struggling with, and then I would spend some time after reprimanding them, and explaining to them how their behavior isn’t okay, and they shouldn’t do it again, while suggesting they talk to one of the councilors provided by the school, if they’re struggling with problems that make them lash out like this.

You are doing a hazardous job requested by the School Principal, how do you react?:
I'd most likely look into the job before I agree to do it, and if it’s not as dangerous as the School Principal makes it seem, I would gladly do it, and, if it was putting my life on the line, I would decline politely and suggest the Principal have professionals do the job, and advise him/her how the job is too dangerous for simple employees, and should be carried out by a trusted employee(s), that knows how to do said job correctly, and if he still insists I do it, i'll do it in the safest way possible without complaint.

Another school employee is doing something very dangerous on the job or acting out of order, how do you react?:
I'll walk up to them calmly, reminding them of the rules and guidelines that are set, and if they continue to ignore me and resume their dangerous stunts, or continue acting out of order, I would call a higher up down to deal with the situation, and explain what they’re doing beforehand, so the higher up knows how to take care of this school employee.

Applicant Name:
Areum Rhee.

Chosen Job:
Lunchtime Monitor.

Motivation for Joining YHS:
I have always enjoyed helping out students with whatever their situations/problems may be, and I feel like becoming a Lunchtime Monitor at first would help me become more professional in my line of work, and over time I could apply for a different job, still in YHS. This would be a big career jump for me, and i’ve always wanted to do something involving a school, that helps out students at the same time, so I think this would be a great opportunity, for me and the students, and, when I used to go to YHS, I found the staff there very welcoming and kind, to students and other staff alike, the community is really great there, and I would love to be a part of it.

Age: 25.

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I think I should be accepted over the other applicants because i’m overall, a very helpful person and enjoy being around students and helping them with anything they may need, out of school or during school, and i’ve had my eye on a job in YHS for a while now, due to the very friendly community, I would like to be a part of it, and i’m sure I can offer great work to the school, if I do get accepted, and I hope you won't be disappointed if you do accept me!

Sincerly,

Areum Rhee.
