What is your motivation for becoming a teacher?:

I have once been a teacher before, and when I resigned it wasn't because I wanted to, it was because I didn't have the time. It was my transition between Middle school and High School year, and now that I'm settled I wish to come back. I had a great experience when I was teaching, it was fun and gave me something to do with my time. Planning the lessons and working hard is what drives me on. I love new and hard challenged and especially challenging others. I have a general love for creating realistic and in-depth roleplay, and I have been roleplaying around this server for almost 2 years now! Teaching expands out what you can do in roleplay. I dislike the idea of people resorting to gang roleplay because they are bored, and I once again wish to create fun, and likable classes.

Do you have any experience in Roleplaying?:

I have nearly two years of roleplay on SchoolRp, and another year of roleplay on a separate server. I also have previous experience with teacher roleplay as I used to be a teacher on the server.

What are the classroom logs and why is it important?:
it's logs of which classes you are going to teach, and classes you have taught, its to help you stay organized. It makes your job easier on yourself and helps others keep up with you and the others in your department of teaching.


You want to start a school field trip; how do you do that?: If I wish to go on a field trip, I fill out an application in the forums and wait to see if it gets accepted.


As a teacher, what are the strict rules when being in a class?:
1> Students must respect each other and adults above them.
2> No phones in class

5> No Illegal drugs or alcohol

Summarize your previous RP experience's (both in general and on SchoolRP):
My character works at 11/7, so I have security roleplay on that part, and I used to be a chemistry teacher so I have experience with teaching roleplay. I have been on SRP for more than two years now, and I have played another different medieval roleplay server for almost a full year now.


Describe the ranking system of teachers:
- HD: Head of Department - They are the head of whatever subject that teacher teaches. They take charge in guiding lessons and helping out their QTLS’s , and NQT’s. They mainly guide NQT’s to oversee them to make sure they know what they are doing.

- QTLS: Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills - A teacher approved to teach a subject. They have passed their time of being an NQT, and should now know what they are doing without needing the guidance of their HD.

- NQT: Newly Qualified Teacher - A new teacher, usually receiving guidance from the Head of their department. They require permission from their HD to teach classes.

Teacher Knowledge

Present to us your knowledge about Teachers in-game and out-of-game, what purpose do teachers serve. What salary do they get? Include a paragraph about the way teachers teach, what they do in their spare time in general.

Teachers create lesson plans and teach them to a class of people. They track student progress and present the information to parents, or the students' guardian, they create tests, reinforce classroom rules, and work with school administration to prepare students for standardized tests. Teachers have a job not just to teach, but also to inspire their students and make them passionate about what they learn. They not only teach but they learn from their students to adapt to the ways the students wish to learn, and to find ways to engage their classes.

Teachers averagely make ¥200,000 to ¥600,000 in Japan.

Teachers jobs are never-ending, their free time is the time they get to spend grading tests, looking over homework, and creating their lesson plans. They get to set up worksheets for their students and create tests based on what they teach in previous lessons.


Why are teachers important to a SchoolRP server?:

There is no “School” in SchoolRp without teachers. They are the key to excelling, in classes, and in life. Students in a roleplay server should not have all the knowledge they do irl unless they learn in from classes in roleplay. Teacher are largely role models to people, and largely influence people in the game to learn and continue up the scale.

Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. How does he look like? What makes him unique and different? What is his outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is his personality like? What is his plan for the future?


Nichiko Akahoshi is a female standing at around 5’6, she had long dark curly hair, loosely hanging to waist level and deep chestnut eyes. Shed have a mesomorph body build, and a generally healthy, strong look. Shed have freckles dotted across her cheeks and over her nose. Her lips would look soft and would be lightly curved over.
She has an optimistic outlook unlike what seems to be most in the city, she is very open and is always someone you can talk to if you need someone to be there for you. She basically creates her own beliefs on what she learns and has a high outlook for most creative and unique things. She encourages everyone to be their own selves and to think “outside of the box.”
To her students are people who are seeking knowledge, she passionately loves to teach people and feed the minds, as she believes all people are run of their own curiosity. Encouraging others to think outside of the box and to let their minds run wild is what she does best. The other teachers are work partners, and friends to her. She sees them as people she can look to if she needs assistance, but also people she can have fun with or be serious with when it’s needed. She sees the group of teachers as
a community that is there to assist each other, and to talk about what they think their students need most.
Her personality is outgoing and friendly. She is very optimistic and sees the best in everyone and everything. She is mature in her work environment but still loves to have fun when she can. Her plan for the future isn't really set, she just wants to live life to the fullest, learning all she can from her experiences, and always having new fun experiences in life.

Scenarios


You find a gang of delinquents in the hallway cursing and swearing, what do you do?:
First, I would nicely tell them to settle down and stop, if they continued to do so I'd strongly tell them to stop what they were doing. If they continued to do so and possibly talk back to my ruling, id rule out separate detention for each of them. If it continued after that detention id notify someone on the staff above me.

No one in your class is listening to a word you say, what do you do?:

I would raise my voice, making sure that everyone would be able to hear that I would be telling them to listen. If someone isn't listening still then I'd assume they didn't wanna be in my class so id remove them from my classroom to continue my class with people who actually wish to learn and have fun.

When in the teacher's lounge, how does your character act?:

She would be more laid back about things, likely working on something for her next class or waiting for a period to finish to start her next class.

/me Nico would silently pass a worksheet to one of her students, motioning for them to pass them to the rest of the class. She’d sit down at her desk and watch to be sure every student had received the classes work.
/me Nico would silently walk up and down the rows of desks checking over the students progress on their work.
/me Nico would softly smile at the site of her students engaged in their group projects.
/me Nico would silently pull an ink pen from a drawer in her desk, popping the cap off shed begin to grade her student's tests.
/me Nico would clear her throat to get her students attention, frowning upon the students who would continue to talk.


Backstory


Nico was born in Kyoto Japan with a younger brother names Reiko, and a younger sister named Misoki. She was born into a poor family with not much so when she was still young she was sent to live with her cousins, her siblings following. Growing up around her cousins, she had a little bit more access to money which meant she had a little bit better of an education. As Nico was the oldest she was already the most mature, watching over her two younger siblings and protecting them. Nico spent most her younger days with her cousins living a calm and generally peace-filled life. When Nico was around 13, she left her family to go to high school, Ending up at Karakura. having little to afford it she still managed to get an education. As Nico didn't have much to do at home, she enjoyed her time in Highschool, taking interest in more of her classes, she joined a chemistry club, playing with their small band. She fell in love with expressing her feelings and through High School she always had fun doing work in school than nothing out of school. In the year of 2013, she graduated from high school and continued on with passion for sciene.She went to college with a passion for teaching others, and expression feeling through what she loved all sorts of science branches. throughout her college life deciding to pursue what she found a passion for. After college, she went on with a chemistry career for a year before deciding to settle down and start teaching. Finding it exciting helping others, knowing the position her family was in, she decided to start teaching science classes in Karakura. hoping to teach students that theater and improv is a good way to express feelings, and inner thoughts.
