Shop wanted:
I’d like heartbucks, and it’d be renamed to Old Key West Diner. (April 7th edit - I see heartbucks is taken, so if this is accepted, I'm fine with any available shop to me)

Why do you want to own a shop?:
I view owning a shop on here as almost a learning experience for me, I’ve had many roles before showing me how to be responsible with such an important role on the server, but never something like this. I’ll obviously take this role 100% seriously, dedicating all the time I need to towards it. I take this as an opportunity to be able to learn everything I can about marketing and sales, and altogether how to run a shop.

This ‘diner’ is based on a beloved place of mine in Key West, called Margaritaville, a part of a chain of American restaurants owned by Jimmy Buffett, along with a few resorts. As I know this is Japan, and sometimes it seems that more foreign characters are in Japan, other than actual Japanese characters and sometimes the entire server can seem to stray away from the fact that it’s based in Karakura, Japan, and not someplace in America. Out of all the shops on the server currently, I don’t believe a single one is like the theme of this one, an American beach-bar diner, this I believe would bring attraction, bringing a taste of American culture and cuisine into the massive range of cuisine that the server has to offer.

What do you plan to do with the shop?:
I want my diner to be a place you come to after an irritating day at work or a stressful day at a school, I want my diner to be a safe haven for people, a place where you can come to take a load off, and just have a good time. Music will always be playing in the diner, and sometimes with a musical guest. My diner will have two floors, both for seating, in references shown at the bottom of this paragraph, the stage will be at the back of the diner, having one hallway that will lead to bathrooms, and I’d like a doorway on the other side of the stage, which would be for the kitchen. On the left side of the diner would be the bar, and on the right side, I’d like to have almost a house looking sort of structure, which would be an extension of the kitchen, where waiters/waitresses would go to pick up food for the customers, then bring it to them.

Along with that, a friend of mine for a very long time now is also applying for a shop, the neighboring shop of heartbucks, heartbooks, which she’ll rename hers to Old Key West Gift Shop, with it being right next to my store, I also plan for it to have an entrance inside of my shop, as both of our stores will be the same ‘brand’ in a way, they’ll both be run by completely separate owners, making it its own business. If not possible, I have plans on how to run it as its own diner. Depending on if she is to get accepted as well, I am going to decide whether I have the house-looking structure inside of my diner, leading into her shop. Really, the inside of my diner is going to look like you’re on a street, with the bar being inside of a house-like structure, having a roof over said bar, and another house-like structure next to it, which will just be high-top tables, then a house-like structure across from both, is what i’d like to hopefully lead to the old heartbooks which is being applied for as a gift shop.

The last thing I plan to do with my shop is regular mini-events, not any major at all, but like game nights, meal specials, and many other specials/sales that will be explained in the next section. Other than those few out of the ordinary things, I plan to run this diner basically as any other restaurant on the server.

How will your shop be unique?:
If all goes to plan with my partner is this, I’ll hopefully have a gift shop connected to my diner, with items themed around the entire get-go of the restaurant being sold, along with convenient items for new players, but that’s besides the point. Not my application. It’ll be more matching with my reference, and make it feel more tourist-like. In a way.

Events and specials! I want to do a lot of them, not any major ones that’d affect a lot of people, but small ones that are just within my diner, starting with a Tuesday special, kids 16 and under eat half off, only on Tuesdays! Then on Thursdays and Fridays, It’ll be game night! With the stage that will be hopefully at the far end of the store, I’ll have either me, the owner, or the general manager on shift hop onto the stage, and play games with the kids and customers of the diner to win special prizes like coupons, or a free meal card, toys, or maybe even cash prizes! Then when Saturdays come around, It’ll be karaoke nights, signup sheets will be out on the openings before Saturday, then if they show up when the day comes, the mic is open for them to sing whatever their heart desires, and at the end of the night, the performer who’s loved by the most customers will win a prize, which could be anything from a coupon, to cash prizes.

It’s the come as you are beach bar! My hope for it is that any person feels like they can come here to be safe from the violence and hate of karakura, to have a good time with family and friends, to be able to take a load off from a possible stressful or bad day, and have a good meal or a good drink (at the legal age) to end off the customers night. Upbeat music will always be playing, setting up the experience to hopefully be one of the best of the customers' day.

How many employees are you planning to have?:
Four Host/Hostess: These people are the face of the restaurant, the first person someone will talk to when walking into the diner, so I’d like for people in this position to be friendly, easy-going, and good with people. In this position, you greet people coming into the diner, then you will bring them to a table with a menu, along with being able to help them with any questions they have before you hand that table onto a waiter/waitress.

Five Waiter/Waitress: This is the most important role of them all, you are the people who get the people their food, the reason for income in the diner. Your main focus will be taking orders from the customers, then bringing the said order to the chef, wait for them to prepare the meal, then bring it back to the customer, before giving it to the customer, you will tell them their total, get the money for the food. You’ll then continue to check up on the table, making sure they’re enjoying their food and not having any problems, then moving onto your next group of people. You must have good people skills to hold a position like this!

Five Chefs: This role is about as important as the waiters/waitress. You will take all orders from them, preparing them exactly how the customer pleases. This could be anything from hot meals, cold meals, pre-cooked meals, snacks, or preparing a variety of drinks that will be available on the main menu. In this position, I’d like for people to DetailRP the process of preparing meals, so I’ll be looking for that skill while hiring.

Three Bartenders: I won’t be hiring for this position until I have other positions full, but once I do, these two people will be in charge of taking orders of legal adults only, serving them an assortment of alcoholic drinks, and the small menu that will be available at the bar as well. Major punishments will occur if you’re caught serving alcohol to minors.

Three Security Guards: As a security guard, your main duty is to stop thieves from stealing from the diner and bar, or somehow leaving without paying, and you’ll also be trusted with the duty of doing your best to stop anyone who may come into the diner/bar with intentions to seriously injure somebody.

One General Manager: This is the most trusted role you can achieve at the diner, which will be the hardest to do so. In this position, you’ll be trusted to keep an eye of the diner when I can not, overviewing all workers to see how they’re performing, and to make sure they aren’t stealing anything from the diner, you’ll also work side by me, planning any special events within the diner, and helping me distribute paychecks, and collect money earned from the waiters/waitresses.

Uniforms:
Host/Hostess uniform:
Host (only showing host for sake of space, but hostess' do have a uniform)

Waiter/Waitress uniform:
Waiter (again, only showing one for sake of space, but waitresses have a uniform, and both have a short or long sleeve option)

Chef uniform:
Chef - male (yes, females have one as well, one being shown for sake of space)

Bartender/Security/General Manager uniform:
none wow! they have a dress code though, which is told to them if they're hired.

Other roles on the server:
[31][Hospital-Staff] - loveagain
[28][Adult] - lilythefrog (quit professor, but have a pending application for school librarian)
[17][Grade-12][Swim-Team] - iamdojacat

Yes, it’s very clear that I play a part in many places on this server, but I believe I’m very active on my hospital account, I teach a payable amount of classes, and I go on my swim account frequently throughout a weekly basis, still leaving me time throughout the entire week to be active as a shop-owner. I believe if I’m given a chance, I’ll turn out to be an amazing shop-owner.

The shop you're applying for is already taken, plus we have many gift/convenient shops already to even connect to it.
