I am extremely active on the server. I am on for hours on end every day. It is also the summer holidays, which means I am even more active than usual. The account I'm applying for this on is also my main account, which means I will mostly be using my teacher account if this does get accepted.

What is your motivation for becoming a teacher?:
I don't want to stray too far away from the server's main subject - which is the school. So I think by applying for a role that is slowly dying, it will be one step closer to the server being focused back onto the school. I want to be one of the main roles on the server so I feel like I am actually doing something for it rather than just being "Adult" and doing literally nothing. If I get this job then I will actually serve a purpose.

I also think it would fit my character pretty well to be a sociology teacher due to them being a lawyer in the past. Sociology is all about the development, structure, and functioning of human society - so having the experience of a lawyer would really help in this case. They deal with so many different stories and cases from many different types of people in human society.

I, finally, want to be a sociology teacher due to it actually seeming kind of fun to do. Sociology isn't a boring subject like English or Mathematics. It is actually extremely interesting and so I think teaching it would make me enjoy myself even more here on SchoolRP. I think if other people learnt about it too then they would also find it interesting and might even pursue further with it.

Do you have any experience in Roleplaying?:
I have quite a lot of experience roleplaying as a teacher. My first ever role on the server was a drama-teacher. I started off as a "Newly Qualified Teacher" and then promoted to "Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills." I took on the role as Head of the Department and ran my own Drama-Club due to the actual Head of Department's laptop being broken and they had not been on the server in about 5 months. (She ended up quitting, I could've been HD for so long!) I got the classroom refurbished, I promoted club co-leaders and taught new lessons every day.

After seeing all the hard work I had been doing, Atakka decided to make me in charge of all the clubs. Making me the door owner for the clubrooms and making decisions, etc.. This was a massive thing for me and I think it gives me quite a lot of experience in roleplaying as a teacher.

However, if that isn't enough. I have also been Head of the English Department. I took on this role with everything I had as I knew it was an extremely important role due to Atakka (Who had just got promoted to Senior Vice-Principal) was head of the teacher's union when he had it. So to prove I was not messing around when I got this role, I ran teacher meetings, scheduled classes, ran assemblies, etc.. I took charge as apart of a senior member of the school. Unfortunately, I had to resign due to personal reasoning and me having to leave the server for two months - but If I didn't have to resign I think I would still be HD of English as I type this.

I have read the Faculty Handbook and I understand everything completely.

What are the classroom logs and why is it important?:
The classroom logs are where all classes are kept logged so that the faction lead and the vice-principal know if the teachers are active or not. I have used them quite a lot in the past.

You want to start a school field trip; how do you do that?:
I would schedule a meeting with the vice-principal. I would have all my notes ready for the conference and then explain to them what the field trip is for, how it benefits the students, if it will be costly, etc.. I will also provide a risk assessment ready as well as a draft of the consent letter that would be sent to the parents.

As a teacher, what are the strict rules when being in a class?:
1)
Students always come first.
2) The classroom must be appropriate for learning.
3) Students must only speak if told or if given permission.
4) Food shall not be consumed in the classroom unless given permission.
5) Cell phones must be turned off and kept in the bags of the students.
6) Classwork must be in a neat presentation.
7) Always hand in homework on time.
8) Treat people how you would like to be treated.
9) Have common sense.
10) Students shall not possess any 18+ items in school.

I gave a description of my teacher roleplay experience above. I have also listed the different ranks I have had in the previous applications which shows you what my different roleplay experiences are. Doctor, Officer, Teacher, Lawyer, etc..

Describe the ranking system of teachers:

- HD: The Head of the Department. They're in charge of how their subject runs, the teachers who teach their subject, the curriculum of their subject, etc.. Any events to do with their department must go through them.

- QTLS: Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills. This is the basic teacher who has been at the school long enough to understand everything. They have proved they know everything they need too.

- NQT: Newly Qualified Teacher. These are teachers who are new to the school, they should make weekly reports to their head of the department of every lesson they've taught and if any problems have occurred. They sometimes need supervision when teaching by their HDs.

Teacher Knowledge

Present to us your knowledge about Teachers in-game and out-of-game, what purpose do teachers serve. What salary do they get? Include a paragraph about the way teachers teach, what they do in their spare time in general.

In-game: The teacher's biggest purpose is to teach. They're meant to hand out the information needed from their brains (or textbooks) to the students. They're meant to do as much as they can with the power they've got for the benefit of the pupils. For example, extra revision lessons during lunch or after school, interventions before school, literally anything which will benefit the students. A teachers purpose is to help with the pupil's exams. Make them know everything in preparation. Homework for example, teachers set it so that when you walk out the classroom door at the end of the day - you don't just throw all that information you gathered out the window. Instead you study it at home and complete the work set and maybe revise it from time to time. Another purpose that the Teacher's have is to abolish bullying in anyway they can. If a teacher sees bullying, they will (in a professional way) stop it as soon as they can and talk to the students involved to see why it started and how to stop it. It says in the teachers union that a teachers salary on average in Taketatsu Academy is 250000 Yen/Year.

In the teachers spare time, I normally see them at the family store. I don't know why they're there or what they're doing. However, they're normally all together meaning that they could be discussing work matters or just having a chit chat.

Out-of-game: Once again, the teacher's biggest purpose is to teach. Similar to in-game, a teacher is meant to explain information and let the student minds absorb it. They're meant to do this in a way which will help students remember the information, and that can be the tricky part. Teachers don't just teach though, they can first aid. In a real life emergency, a teacher can put their basic first aid knowledge to use until paramedics get to the school. Not only can they first aid but they're also very the****utic. They know what to say to a child if they're having trouble at home or on the internet and they have the basic resources to call in-case they need some professional help. The average salary for a high school teacher is £28,951, which is 37000.68 dollars.

I'm not really sure what teacher's do in their spare time, I'm pretty sure they just lead a normal adult's life. Go to see friends, go out to a festival or club every once in a while, go for a coffee and chit chat. That sort of thing.

Why are teachers important to a SchoolRP server?:
You need teachers to actually run the school. Without the teachers, there is no learning, students wouldn't be able to pass exams and there would be no SchoolRP.

What lesson planning system does the school work on?:
The lesson planning system uses MoSCo. This stands for Must have, Should have, Could have,

Character Knowledge

Leo Fawcett is a very feminine man with a toned body. He is a little muscley but isn't super buff. He weighs 110lbs and is the height of 5'7". Whenever he is stood up, he leans heavily onto one side of his hip. He has make-up on his face and smells of Victoria Secret. He has a good, orange tan.

Leo is relatively kind to students and quite lenient. He thinks that being nice to students instead of being super strict will have a better impact on themselves as a person and on their learning and progress in work. He thinks putting too much stress on them will actually make students procrastinate when it comes to deadlines and exams - which will have a bad influence on them in the future.

Leo hopes to get along with his colleagues. He hopes that teachers arent too pushy on the students at school and that they treat them with respect. He will not have a problem with the teachers if they follow school rules like everyone else.

Scenarios

You find a gang of delinquents in the hallway cursing and swearing, what do you do?:
I would first tell them that foul language like that will not get them anywhere in life. I would tell them that if they want a job in the future they best speak with better English and be a little more polite when in public. If they carry on then I would tell them that they are on their first warning, I would tell them that they should stop if they want me to keep my patience. If they proceed to curse I would hand them a detention slip with a time, date and a room number and expect them to be there on time.

No one in your class is listening to a word you say, what do you do?:
I would firstly drum my fingers on the table, indicating I am ready to for them to stop talking. If they carry on I will simply say "I am waiting for silence, it is not my education you are wasting." If they carry on, I will simply keep them all behind after class to repay for the time they wasted.#

When in the teacher's lounge, how does your character act?:
My character would act in a professional way, stacking papers, marking exams, doing attendance logs, etc.. He might say a joke every now and again but nothing too inappropriate or NSFW. My character is pretty chill but won't break school rules.

/me He drums his fingers on the desk indicating that he wants the classroom to be silent before he starts.
/me He takes a piece of chalk and writes his name on the board along with the date and the title of the lesson.
/me He would collect in the exam papers and tack them neatly on his desk. e would make sure they all have names on and if they didn't then he would hand it back.
/me He would stand up, tucking his chair in and walk up to the students. He hands out the papers with their grade on and smiles.
/me He rapidly types on his computer, logging his classroom report and making sure everything is grammatically correct.


Backstory
Leo Fawcett's original dream was not to be a teacher but instead a lawyer. He was a lawyer for a short period of time in Karakura until all lawyers in Karakura became extinct. Leo was now working on minimum wage as a bartender, upset that he spent so much time at university to end up working at a bar. It is then he thought about a new career choice. He would always walk past the school on his way to and from work and one day he decided he was going to get a job at the school but first he needed a degree in teaching. He already had the other qualifications in sociology.

Leo proceeded to go to a university out of town whilst working a part-time job as a bartender and managing a family. He had a lot of stress on his shoulders. It took Leo about a year to get a degree in teaching as he already had a degree in sociology so he did not have to do the full four years. He only just recently got hsi certificate in the mail with his degree on it.

He didn't apply for his job straight away, he first decided to do double and even triple shifts at the bar to try to pay off his debt from his loan he took out to get his degree. This took him a while but he finally managed to pay it all off fully - so he wasn't in any debt.

He then started writing upo his job application. He would work on it for days making sure it was perfect. He needed this job, he couldn't bare to work in the bar anymore! He proof-read and proof-read until he finally thought it was ready. He printed it off and handed it to the school-receptionist. They proceeded to hand it to the principal who is currently giving his judgment on it. He is currently waiting for the response in the mail.
