    Terminology
    OOC - Out of Character
This is the act of speaking from your own mouth, and not from your character's perspective. Your character is not you. For example, in OOC I could say, "Brb, I'm going to eat dinner." Your character wouldn't say that because he/she's not going to eat dinner! You wouldn't say, "I love this server" in IC chat, because your character believes its in the real world.

    IC - In Character
This is the act of saying something from your character's mouth, and you use it to say what your character does.

LOOC - Local out of Character
This is Out of Character, but in a local distance. If you want to talk to someone near you and you don't want your character to say it, then use LOOC. For example,

Player 1 > Hi, I love this school!
Player 2 > [LOOC] Be right back, I have to go and eat dinner.
    Player 1 > [LOOC] kk.

    Metagaming
Metagaming is when you use Out of Character knowledge for In Character purposes. This could also be saying your location, saying that you have an item, or any other thing that a character would not know if you didn't say in OOC Chat.

    Powergaming
Powergaming is the act of forcing your actions upon someone else. For example,

*** Player 1 kills the person with the knife.
This does not give the other player a chance to react. A correct way of doing it would be,
*** Player 1 attempts to kill the person with the knife.
    Powerplay
Powerplay is the act of controlling another character's actions without permission. For example,
*** Player 1 attempts to stab the other play, the other play would get hit by the knife.

    FailRP
FailRP (Fail Roleplay) is when you do something that would not realistically be achievable, or you don't act like your character. For example,
Player 1 > Dude, its just a minecraft server.
Your character would not realise this is a Minecraft server, saying it in LOOC would be allowed however.

    FearRP
FearRP is Fear Roleplay, something that characters must do. If a character was to threaten you with a knife, you'd have to react in a scared fashion.

    Minge
A minge is a term to describe someone who acts unseriously, and FailRP's the majority of the time. Someone who basically likes to ruin people's roleplay.

    Nickhead
Someone who plagiarises stuff on roleplay servers, whether its the servers concept or other stuff.

    Mary-Sue
Being a Mary-Sue is the act of having a perfect character with no flaws whatsoever.

    NLR
This means, "New Life Rule", it means you should forget everything that leads up to your death, and you must forget that you died.

    RDM
This means Random Death Match, its where you kill someone without a reason.

    Mingerunning
Mingerunning is the act of running away from a roleplay situation, (someone trying to mug you.)

    Godmodding
Using unfair tatics in a fight. For example, punching someone so hard they fall to the ground unconcious in one hit.

    ERP
Erotic Roleplay - don't do it.

    Void
Making an action or event that happened ICly, no longer happened. This may happen if something shouldn't of happened (RDM), and is therefore no longer IC.

    Skindexian
Someone who downloads and uses skins from a website called Skindex. This is by no means against the rules or frowned upon, but a lot of people dislike very poor quality skins that are found right off 'the Skindex.'

    Minimod
When a regular player enforces rules. You shouldn't minimod, you should contact an admin to resolve a solution. Helping a player is not minimodding.

    F2B (Fade To Black)
This is the act of being in a roleplay situation without roleplaying out. (E.g, being healed at the nurse's room without doing the roleplay of being healed to avoid boredom.) It may not always be acceptable to happen if all parties disagree.

Red means the rule will lead to a severe punishment (sometimes perma/monthly bans.) The red is not limited, as other rules may lead to severe punishment too.

    General Rules
    1. You are not allowed to discriminate, be sexist, be racist, be homophobic, or put any graphic/sexual content in OOC.
1a. If racism, extremism, Nazism is present in IC to the point of which it is becoming uncomfortable for players and presented in a unserious manner (such as skins from Adolf Hitler), staff have the right to ban you.
    2. You are not allowed to advertise any other servers or websites. You may only advertise links if they have some relevance to the server.
    3. Do not hack, client mods are allowed if they do not affect anyone else's gameplay experience.

Using any of these mods will lead to severe punishment.
    • Hacking Mods (Wurst, Huzuni, Wolfram, WeepCraft, X-Ray Mods)
      • Why? These mods break immersion as they allow flying abilities, speed abilities and more. They give access to blocked off locations and they can be used as a unfair advantage.
    • Minimap Mods/Additional Data Mods (Rei's Minimap, Radar Chest, Zans Minimap)
      • Why? These mods can be used for metagaming as you can use them to void people in certain locations where you realistically couldn't find them in.
    • AFK Prevention Mods (Macro's, Rave Mods)
      • Why? These mods bypass our AntiAFK system which prevents people from ranking up and gaining money from doing nothing.
    • World Downloading Mods (WDL, Schematica)
      • Why? We paid a hefty amount of money for this map and we want to stick with that money, so therefore we have decided to ban the world downloading mod or Schematica.
    • Certain External Clients (Cheat Engine)
      • Why? This has a speed hack ability which allows the user to have speed, and speed ruins immersion and allows glitching.
    • FPS Enhancers (Optifine)
    • Graphics Enhancers (Shaders, Better Foliage, Blocks 3D, Gammabright)
    • Cosmetic Mods (Advanced Capes Mod, MinecraftCapes, Tails, Chisels & Bits)
    • Player Animation/View (Shoulder Surfing, Mo' Bends, ThirdPerson Everything)
    • Utility Mods (Too Many Items, Just Enough Items, Inventory Tweaks, UcUtils)
    • Cinematic Mods (replaymod)
    • HUD Mods (RPG HUD, Real Time Clock, MineMenu)
    • Forge (FML, MCP, mercurius_updater)
    • Sound Mods (Ambient Sounds, Dynamic Surroundings, Sound Filters)
    4. Do not attempt to log off to avoid confrontation with a staff member, or try to evade a punishment, ban, kick in anyway.
    5. No inappropriate skins, in game names, or nicknames. This includes Nazi skins, NSFW skins and names such as 'Adolf Hitler', erotic names/skins, and racist names/skins.

    6. Do not bring ALL real life principals into the roleplay world
    7. Do not target people OOCly, or excessively disrespect them.
    8. Do not argue with staff unless you know you are being wrongfully accused.
    9. Do not spam the caps lock.
    10. Do not spam the chat or flood the chat.
    11. Try to use your best grammar.
    12. Do not nag for any whitelists or character groups, apply on the forums.

    13. Donator privileges should not be used to disrupt RP, and any cosmetics should be treated OOCly. Killing people with cosmetics will lead to a serious ban.
    14. Do not glitch or try to use exploits to your advantage
    15. Do not minimod, if there's a issue call for a admin. Don't take matters into your own hands. Helping a player is not minimodding, minimodding is only enforcing rules without being an admin.
    16. Failure to report rule-breakers may lead to punishment depending on the circumstances.

    17. Trying to find any 'loop-holes' in the rules and abusing this may lead to punishment, staff have the right to create new rules if the gameplay is deemed unfair.
    18. Any threats to the server, players, staff such as DDoS threats, DoX threats and false accusations will lead to a permanent ban, even if joking about it.

    19. Only speak English in IC chat, OOC chat. If your character speaks another language, don't use Google Translate or you own language, apply for authorization to speak that foreign language and then you'll be able to use the /lang command.
    20. Stealing from a shop without authorization from the server director.
    21. Do not lie in OOC or LOOC about a roleplay situation.

    22. Do not post yours, or others, personal contact information (addresses, full names, phone numbers.)
    23. Trying to connect with a VPN/anonymizer repeatedly. We have anti-VPN/anonymizers because people use them to bypass IP-bans.
    24. Minge-pushing people/body-blocking (using the collision feature to move them into places for the purpose of trolling or blocking certain places using the collision feature without roleplay and just to troll) is not allowed.
    25. Lying to players about the server is against the rules in OOC, just the following:

25a. Lying to players about the functionality of commands (saying that certain commands do stuff which they don't.)
25b. Lying about rules that don't exist (e.g, saying that it's a rule to join a gang.)
    26. After the leader of a gang/family has died, the gang/family cannot be recreated.
26a. This also means that if the leader of a gang/family is arrested permanently or is killed the gang/family itself is disbanded.
26b. If the leader of a gang/family however does not die or get permanently arrested, and still wants to disband the gang/family, they can also do so unless the reason directly goes against any rules here.
26c. Switching the 'LEAD' or 'HEAD' of a gang/family is only valid if done 24 hours before any drastic event that occurs, e.g Being killed/arrested.
    27. Do not minge-grab. This means picking up an item that has been dropped on the floor during a transaction (e.g, during a shop transaction) that was not meant for you.
    28. You may only report events that have happened within 30 days. However, if the event which has occured is serious, this rule does not apply.
    29. You may not abuse creative permissions (e.g, griefing, spawning in items that are not used for building, malicious activity whilst in creative) will result in a blacklist from creative and a serious ban.
    30. Any sort of malicious behaviour (e.g, grooming) will result in a serious ban.

    31. Both the commands, /me, /it, /my, etc. Must be used ONLY for their purposes and not anything else inappropriate.

    Roleplaying Rules
    1. You may not purposely stall to waste time
    2. No roleplaying in OOC/LOOC. You can of course sometimes do a line of roleplay in OOC ironically.
    3. No metagaming or metabaiting.
    4. Even if a action is voided, it can still be eligible for a ban (ERP, RDM.)
    5. Do not break NLR, and do not return to the place you were killed for at least fifteen minutes.
    6. Do not forget to attempt every action you may perform, for example, /me attempts to punch the person in the face. Unless the other individual has agreed OOCly to you doing so otherwise.

    7. When you pull out a item and hold it in your hand, it is there ICly. You cannot say that you did not do an action to pull it out. This is to prevent people from waving around weapons and then just saying "it's not there IC."
    8. Do not mix IC chat and OOC chat.
    9. Do not evade a roleplay situation by walking away. (Do not mingerun.) If you are in a situation where you need to roll, make sure to roll.
    10. Give your character's description using good grammar and punctuation.
    11. Do not FailRP.
    12. Do not disrupt any classes teachers are missing by the means of shifting infront of their faces and FailRP'ing, if you want to be a deliquent, properly RP out the situation. (/me attempts to walk up to the teacher and tries to shout at the top of his lungs.)

    13. FearRP teachers and the consequences, you should not be completely fearless to expulsion.
    14. Do not use emoticons in IC Chat, use /me to describe your emotions.
    15. Do not ERP (erotic roleplay), this includes creating erotic literature. Erotic roleplay is only sexual acts, such as having sex. It is not kissing, hugging etc. Erotic literature is describing sexual acts. This is generally disallowed on the server. However, if it is done in a third party application, for example: Discord Direct Messages (DMs), it is none of our concern. As long as it is kept away from the server’s eye and as long as both parties have agreed to it.
    16. Roleplay as your character and yours only, if your character is a student, roleplay as a student (you cannot roleplay as a teacher if you're a student.)
    17. Do not create throwaway characters (characters that have no development whatsoever and only exist to break IC rules such as murdering or doing something to be expelled.)
    18. Do not disconnect to avoid IC prosecution (leaving to avoid being jailed, expelled.) If you commit a crime, do not do it unless you have enough time to roleplay the consequences.

    21. All skins are IC and must be treated that way. Any skins that are non-human are considered costumes.
    22. Any exterior security cameras are owned by the police and are fully functional. They can record any activity that has been happening in front of them.
    23. Mobile Phones cannot record incoming/ongoing calls unless a third party electronic device is assisting with it, e.g another phone. For recording video and audio however, or even capturing images this goes differently. When wanting to take a video/photo you must have your phone out and present at all times, alongside this you should take screenshots with F2 presenting what the camera would've taken. REMEMBER to also emote to begin recording, e.g /me Would begin to record.
    24. Attempting to bait or lure an officer into searching, fining or even arresting you, intentionally, is not allowed.
    25. Upon committing a crime in front of CCTV, witnesses or Police Officers, etc. You must remain online for an hour minimum, for the information to be processed and for people (Officers) to act accordingly ICly.
    26. When wanting to burn/destroy/raid/vandalise an INDIVIDUAL building, you must have a kill requirement on the OWNER of that property (Tenants don't count), before you can move ahead with it - Once that's sorted, contact an S.A or Owner to deal with it for you, however if the raid or destruction is seen as unnecessary or 'inappropriate', limitations can be put into place. This can also be done in 'retaliation' if someone does it to you, however this requirement only lasts a month.
    27. You cannot roleplay on two accounts at the same time in order to gain advantage in a roleplay scenario.
    38. When your character dies, you are to change your skin, RPname & Description.
    39. You are limited to also having only ONE character that's apart of the same gang rather than multiple. You may not have another on that account or any other alternate account.
    40. If you were apart of Gang or Family and have died and lost that character, you cannot re-join or be involved with the same gang/family for an OOC week, with your new character.
    41. Gang Wars are not allowed to randomly occur. If you're going to war with another Gang you must contact a Staff Member first in which they can then supervise and assist you throughout, alongside designate a location for it to occur.
    Combat Rules
    1. You can't kill/mug a character for the following reasons:
    • Minor Verbal Assault (such as; "You are such a scrub!) Major verbal assault, and harassment on a much larger scale will allow you to have MugRP authorisations and character 'assault' authorisations. You may be allowed to mug/assault someone if they are racist depending on the situation
    • Appearance - You may not kill/mug anyone for the way their character looks, there is only one exception to this: If they have any racist tattoos or racist makeup.
    • Nationality/Accent - You are not allowed to kill/mug anyone for their nationality and accent.
    • Envy - You may not kill/mug a character due to the fact that you envy their wealth.
    • Making Relatives for Revenge - Your New character cannot be Related to your previous character and cannot be looking for revenge as that would be failrp due to your new character not knowing the person who killed the relative.
    • Wrong Place Wrong Time - If a player is witnessing a crime, e.g Murder, you may kill them, but it will just be classed as an NLR Death (They still get to keep their character, stuff, money.)
    • False Rumours and Accusation - If player A says player B has done something bad, you may not kill player B based upon player A’s accusation, unless you know that it happened and there is evidence that it happened.
    • Minor Assault - You cannot kill if someone attacks your with their fist and or feet. For example: Punching,Kicking, etc.
    • Minor Harassment/Racism/sexism/Verbal assault - You may not kill someone for minor racial slurs, minor verbal assault, minor harassment or minor sexist remarks. However, you may attack them if they continue as stated previously. Just remember depending on how this attack unfolds is dependant on if it turns into a Kill Requirement or not.
    2. You may mug/assault someone for the following reasons
    • Being attacked with a weapon: If a person attempts to attack you whilst holding a weapon. You may attempt to disarm/take that weapon from them. This must be done with a /me and it can only happen if you roll higher.
    • Looting: If someone is dead or knocked out, you may take weapons and money, but only if the victim agrees to you looting them, in LOOC. If they don’t agree. Then you cannot take any other items besides money and weapons they had used in the fight.
    3. You may kill a character for the following reasons:
    • Major Assault: You can kill if someone attacks you personally with a weapon or with the intent to kill. For example: Using a Katana to cut you, Choking to death, Breaking Bones, Stabbing, Exc. Knocking somebody out a single time does not class as 'Major Assault'. This also goes for if a Police Officer is to taze/hit you with a baton, however if it's done by mistake then it should be excused.
    • Gang related disputes - If the dispute is agreed on by both parties, you may be allowed to kill them under the circumstances.
    • Retaliation with a weapon- If you attack someone or vice versa, The person being attacked can retaliate. If they retaliate whilst using a weapon, Then you have the authority to kill.
    • Getting Arrested: You can kill an officer and/or the person who got you arrested as it would be putting your characters life and future on the line. This also goes for if your fellow gang member/family member, etc. Is being arrested.
    • Snitching - If a person snitches on you, or the person tells you that they are going to snitch on you, you are allowed to only then kill the individual. SNITCHING only applies when the individual has spoken to GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, e.g Police Officers. Not Teachers, Civilians, etc.
    • Death Threats - If another individual threatens to kill you in a BLATANTLY in an serious/aggressive manner and obviously not in a joking one, you are ALLOWED to kill them.
    4. There should be one action per /me, you may not do two attacks in one /me.
    5. All harm caused with weapons should be taken as lethal, and there is no such thing as a non-lethal attack with a weapon.
    6. You don't have to roll if you're attacking from behind. If you are facing a person and you want to attack them from behind for an honour, You must first do a /me for running behind them, And you cannot add your attack in this /me. You must wait for them to react, Then you can do a /me to attack.
    7. You may only attempt to grab a weapon if they try and attack you with it, and you roll higher than them. Now this only goes for certain weapons such as a Baseball bat, fists, legs (As in kicking). Here are weapons you cannot you cannot take from somebody’s hands:
8a. Katana - Due to the fact that the weapon mostly consists of sharp edges, which prohibits any grabbing of the weapon, under no circumstances can you grab this weapon from a person. (If you grab it, your hand will be cut and or severely injured).
8b. Spiked Bats - This weapon is spiked, and quite long. This obstructs any attempt to grab it, and cannot be grabbed under no circumstances other than it being dropped on the ground. (If you do grab it, your hand and or any other limb you use will be impaled by the spiked bat)
8c The Sai cannot be grabbed due to its small handle/small size .Its three prongs that it mostly consists of. Those prongs are very sharp and if grabbed will lead to the limbs of the grabber that they used being stabbed or cut.
8d Knuckle Dusters - The knuckle dusters/brass knuckles cannot be taken from a person wielding them, as the dusters are wrapped around the knuckles of the person tightly, and as the person is wielding them with their fists tightened, that makes them very hard to remove, unless you pry their hands open (roll).
8e. Knife: Just like the Katana, Its mostly consisting of sharp edges, The knife would be even harder to grab due to its very small size. This would give you nothing but blade to grab, The limbs you use to grab it will be cut or stabbed.
    8. You can only break into a house/apartment if someone if you have a valid reason, e.g If you are able to kill them and they are attempting to evade you. Anything minor cannot be taken into account.
    9. You may not taken an item other than money or the weapon unless they give consent.
    10. The person you are mugging must be a real person and cannot be your alternate account. You also may not rob someone else’s alt and then give their main account the mugged money
    11. You may only mug a maximum of 5000 yen from someone, with a valid reason, such as one of the many mugging requirements listed here and ONLY those requirements.
    12. You need a reason to kidnap, and cannot kidnap someone randomly.
    13. You may not kidnap based upon looks, gender or ethnicity.
    14. The victim is automatically granted the ability to retaliate or get revenge/kill you after the kidnapping or during the kidnapping
    15. The victim is allowed to escape, if they see a chance to do so.
    16. If the victim were to attack, you or anyone else cannot use that as an excuse to kill them, they may only be killed if the victim is close to killing you.
    17. You are not allowed to torture the victim, unless you have a kill requirement.
    18. You are not allowed to loot them once they are kidnapped, under any circumstances.
    19. You may kidnap someone for the following reasons:
19a. Questioning - If you have important or sensitive questions to ask a victim, you may do so - Only if there is some sort of evidence or proof that you're basing the entire kidnapping off (Which you can provide). After the questioning, you are not allowed to kill the victim unless it complies with character killing requirements.
19b. Revenge - If the victim has done something bad to you, that complies with character killing requirements then you may retaliate by kidnapping them.
19c. Rival Gang - You may kidnap a rival gang member/leader, but the kidnapping and dispute must be agreed upon by both parties.
    20. You may not kidnap someone for the following reason:
20a. Envy - You may not kidnap someone because of their wealth.
20b. Ransom - You may not kidnap somebody to demand ransom.
20c. Rumors and Accusations - You may not kidnap someone based upon somebody else’s rumor or accusation against them, unless there is concrete evidence/you have witnessed them do this and that.
20d. Ethnicity & Gender - You are not allowed to kidnap based upon their race, nationality, age or gender.
20e. Minor revenge - If a person did something minor to you, such as call you by minor racial slurs, insult you or push/slap you, you are not permitted to kidnap them in order to retaliate or get revenge.
    21. Depending on your age and rank, you can roll different numbers during combat:
    • Below Age 18: /roll 100
    • Over Age 18: /roll 150
    • Over Age 60: /roll 100
    • Over age 80: /roll 80
    • Over age 100: /roll 10
    • Over age 110: /roll 5
    22. Do not bait people into meeting the combat requirements. (for example, starting an argument with someone for no reason so they retaliate and you have a reason to attack them. You can still start an argument with them, but don't just do this for the prime reason of attacking them.)
    23. If you have a reason to mug/attack someone and you don't act upon the reason with two months OOCly, you can no longer act upon it. This is to prevent people from saving reasons until they need it.
    24. "Mutual Combat Law" Two players can agree to mutual fist to fist combat (typically IRL a police officer has to be present to be a referee) and neither party gets in trouble for assault or anything of the sort + no kill permissions are given to any character post-fight regardless of the injuries faced.
    25. When in the midst of a fight, all fighting is turn based and it should be acknowledged that if the fight is between a person without a weapon and a person with a weapon OUT, it is to be honoured, for example:

No Weapon VS Weapon - Honour for Weapon.
Weapon VS Weapon - Roll for both.
No Weapon VS No Weapon - Roll for both.

25a. In addition, all actions in the midst of a fight (mid-combat) are to be emoted, e.g Before being in a combat scenario you can draw a weapon without an action, however during a combat situation due to it being turn based you can use your turn to draw your weapon.
25b. When in a 1v1 things should be rolled for depending on number 25. When in a 2v1 it's the same, however when outnumbered by 3 people (3v1) their actions are to be honoured.
    26. For an NLR Death the requirement to kill them for whatever they may of seen/witnessed only lasts for 15 minutes prior to the scene. You MUST also carry out the killing on scene, not miles across the map whilst they're involved in RP completely unrelated to your situation.

    Voiding Rules
    1. A void will not happen unless there is a valid reason (a rule has been broken.)
    2. If the event that happened is older than one month, it may not be voided.
    3. You may not do an action and instantly void it. (Attack someone, perform ERP, and then suddenly decide to void it for no reason.)
    4. During an event where a group is involved, the event will only be voided if the majority agree. This includes an event where gangs are involved.
    5. Staff are permitted to void a situation no matter what.
    6. Evidence must be supplied if a event is being voided.

Rules for players, when encountering Police Officers:

We all know how people love to be edgy, showing no fear towards Officers, acting cocky and failing to FearRP. Here are some rules you need to follow when encountering an Officer:

After a criminal has done a crime, they are to remain online for a minimum of 1 OOC hour, the hour begins immediately after the crime has been done. Any crime committed during that one hour, will extend that time by an extra OOC hour.
When seeing a P.O, you still have to act fearful, you shouldn’t disrespect them constantly and when verbally warned, you need to FearRP.
When you see a P.O holding their taser/glock/baton, you must FearRP, it's a weapon, not a plastic toy, all people should show somewhat fear, not yelling
When being searched by an Officer, we ask you not to stall, trying to get gang members etc. quicker to the spot, in doing this you can be warned by a staff member.
When being searched by an Officer, you are told to put your hands above your head and face the wall, if you wish to remove a piece of weaponry, you have to do two actions beforehand:
You have to do /me lowers hands so you can get the weaponry you have stored - if seen, Officers may tase you immediately.
You have to do /me turns around which requires you to roll if you’ve turned successfully or not.
Police Officers are authorised to view Shop Owner’s exterior security cameras for CCTV purposes.
If a Police Officers wishes to use an interior security camera of a Shop, they must ask for permission beforehand from one of the available Staff of the Shop.
If the Shop’s closed, Police Officers are authorised to Fade-To-Black (F2B) entering the shop to see the interior cameras of a shop, informing the Shop Owner that they’ve done so as well.
You must do an action (/it) when entering the Police Station if you contain a metal for the metal detector’s roleplay’s sake.
This can be simply - /it The Metal Detectors would ring
You are subject to being searched at anytime as well if you wish to enter the Police Station.
