What is your motivation for applying?:
I’ve always had a sort of interest in helping people, saving people- yada yada yada. All the stuff you’ve heard already. But in my journey as an officer, I’ve had to do a lot of MedicalRP when the hospital was still in the works, and I loved what little I could do, as I could only use certain things and only go so far with what little I had. It’s always been interesting to me, and I just want to give myself a shot in doing something new to me and something I’ve enjoyed in the past.
What do you know about medical practice?:
There are a lot of things that can fall under “medical practice”, so I’ll just be listing what I know and can recall off the top of my head. There’s too much to list unless I write an essay.
Now, as a surgeon, there are different things to do than a nurse or doctor would do. A surgeon prioritizes patient care and is centered around it, no matter the gender, ethnicity, race, etc. Anyone and everyone gets help. I do understand that being a surgeon requires patience, time and effort. I’m currently taking courses in which I learn about the human body and I’ve done plenty of research recently and as a police officer, and am used to stressful/overly hard situations and I know how to keep a calm head in them. There is more that I don’t know, but there is always room for improvement and I’m more than willing to learn and expand my knowledge.
What are the basic color codes in a medical emergency and hospital?:
Code Blue - A medical emergency has occurred in the hospital.
Code Red - Fire or smoke is within the hospital.
Code Black - Most often indicates a bomb threat.
Code Pink - A child and/or infant abduction has taken place.
Code Orange - A hazardous material is in the hospital or a spill incident has occurred.
Code Silver - There have been reports of an active shooter.
Code Violet - There is a violent or non-cooperative/combative individual.
Code Yellow - Some sort of disaster has occurred.
Code Brown - Severe weather has been reported.
Code White - Simply put, an evacuation.
Code Green - Something has happened that causes the emergency activation feature to occur within the hospital.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
How is your character during and off the job?
My character on the job is not a laid-back individual, she is polite and caring towards the patients but can often be seen as ‘strict’ or ‘stuck-up’ just because of her personality, she just seems sort of... Bland on the job. Like she doesn’t care about what goes on and remains emotionless. It’s how she works and it’s her mentality, doesn’t show weakness on the job. She just takes her job seriously and does what is needed around her co-workers, treat them with respect and keep a co-worker relationship, nothing more and nothing less. They deserve respect for the job, and off the job, too.
She isn’t much different from how she is on the job, off the job. She’s still that serious person she was raised to be, yet she doesn’t have the mindset of most of her family (yes, I know it would be corrupt ICly if she knew what the Bashkimi did, so no, she doesn’t know about the illegal branch). She is serious, “up-tight” and overall seems like she thinks above everyone else, but she isn’t, she just keeps to herself and is more of a withdrawn person, unless she is with her family or someone close to her on a personal level. Yes, she’s still reserved, but she’s simply more talkative while maintaining that ‘calm’ behavior she always regards everyone around her with.
What do they look like?
My character has naturally blonde, wavy hair that is normally pinned up on top of her head, billowing down in loose waves when it is left alone, but most of the time she straightens it as she has a dislike for the way her hair curls partially. With that being said, her eyes are a bright blue and her skin is quite dark for someone from Japan (yes, wow, a character actually from Japan!), having naturally tanned skin along with plump lips, faint freckles dotting her nose bridge, having to get extremely close to see them. Moving along, she has dainty hands and stands at a height of around 5’4”, with her nails painted a nude color. She has an hourglass body-shape, being a full-grown woman and developed fully, curves in all the right places, and a sharp-looking face to match. Safe to say she looks semi-intimidating, yet her eyes hold a warm, caring look for anyone she talks to. As she says, eyes are the key to the gateway we call our hearts. Overall, she appears to be a very dainty female in certain places, in others she looks like any adult her age.
Do they have any mental or physical illnesses?
No, my character does not have any mental or physical illnesses.
What makes your character unique?
It would be how quick she catches onto things, and how quickly yet efficiently she can perform surgery if it comes down to it. She’s quick with her hands and doesn’t panic or freak out when bad situations are put into her hands to be fixed, a person's fate resting on her hands. Now obviously, she’s human and has emotions, but she can push them aside to save a person’s life, as nobody else can do it if it is pushed into her hands to save their life. And she’ll do it (most of the time).
BACKSTORY
Going through a hard life in her early years, my character, Hanako Bashkimi grew up in a household where violence was the norm, her brothers physically fighting as they had seen their parents do it all the time. Verbally, of course, but her brothers had a temper. As she aged, her parents divorced when she was around three years old, neither of them stable enough to give her custody. She and her brothers went in and out of orphanages, foster cares, you name it before eventually her father sobered up and was legally allowed to take the kids back, where he did and their life went from the worst to the better. She was around seven while her brothers were aged eleven and twelve.
Her life was back on track, and even her mother came back into the picture once she was stabilized and mentally okay to go back into the family. Nothing went wrong in the future, whether it be far or not. Eventually, after a long, normal childhood, she took an interest in medical practice and went to a career center for practice as a nurse, graduated along with everyone else from her school-- but she realized later in life that she did not want to be a nurse, and changed her degree in the middle of college, where she took the required courses to be a surgeon and graduated with a degree for that specific job, yet, she still needed more training, so she went to a medical school, where she stayed there for around four or so years before graduating, and having the requirements to be a surgeon, finally.
And finally, her dream job was reachable. She applied for a position to be a surgeon in a few different places in neighboring towns near hers, one being Karakura. The rest were denied, except for two. The one in Karakura was accepted, and the one in her home-town was accepted. Yet, since she had family all around Karakura, she decided to take the job position in Karakura and finally became a surgeon, making her dream come true, around the age of 28, and has been working there for a year now.
