Akemi was born in Japan, she lived in Japan until she was 8 because thats when her parents died in a car crash, she was then forced to move to France so that she could live with her grandmother in france, Her grandmother had passed away peacefully due to old age when she was 12, a french shopkeeper saw her out in the streets, she he decided to take care of her, he took her to the doctors, dentist, everything, she was diagnosed with ADHD, Depression, Asthma, and Dyslexia. Later he died due to a heart attack, she spent a year and a half working to get money so she could go back to japan to go to school, she has now been living in Karakura since she was 14.
