WHAT YOU NEED TO SUGGEST OR MENTION:

WOOO WOOO! Now, let's start off with- the battle of the bands! Rather than have constant dances or just weather events! Let's put these instruments to the use, alright? Now, 'It's Minecraft wwish, how the fuck is it going to work?' Well! You see, if we were to have a competition on it- we'd have the URL of the actual song in the chat or in /event. Now, you're probably thinking 'Yo! wwish, how the fuck are we going to even judge them, dumbass?' Well... The best actions or more noticeable actions- Which would help bring out detailrp better- would win! Let's say we had two bands neck and neck if they're able to fit in with the criteria…

• Have one or more musical terms used in your actions
• Make your actions more personal to your character
• Make sure your actions interact with other band member's

Now you're probably like.. 'Hey wwish, your shithead forgot the fact that there's background music playing- how would it align with it?' Ahah! You see my friend, you just have the background music for understanding what's going on. You don't need it to action the EXACT moment a certain beat is played!! Nor do the candidates have to place every note or lyric. Just the MAIN ones! There will be sign ups for the bands, there should be at least THREE bandmembers or they can't join in the fun! They all have to have individual instruments perhaps..

• One vocalist
• One drummer [There'll be drums set in]
• One guitarist

Now, this is for the MINIMUM .. the maximum is FIVE. Anything beyond that is an absolute NO NO! There'd only be 10 or less applicable bands. Once we reach 10 bands, the slots would be CLOSED. Don't fret! It'd take everyone a while to get three members who all have instruments!

NOTE: This is an EVENT, not something that'll happen DAILY! This can be an annual event, depends on how the first round of it goes!

Not quite sure on how to feel about this. It's a pretty creative idea, not gonna lie, but it kind of seems a little too complicated to pull out, knowing that it'll need quite a lot of organization coming from both staff and players, and there's quite a lot of gaps that need to be covered here :

How so? How would it even be synchronized for everyone? If you have any suggestions for this, please let me know.

I'm extremely confused. Wouldn't it kind of ruin the point of this event? I get why you mentioned this (it'd make everything WAY too complicated if everything has to be detailed), but isn't there any other way it could be done?

Another quick notice: I also doubt that there are many, or even any bands on SRP. In my opinion, it'd most likely make the event a little boring for most people. . .

I'm extremely confused. Wouldn't it kind of ruin the point of this event? I get why you mentioned this (it'd make everything WAY too complicated if everything has to be detailed), but isn't there any other way it could be done?

not everyone can click the link at the exact time so it wouldn't work if the beats were exactly on the lyrics, you get? There could be a little note about that before the event

AND

For the other one, the bands will be formed for the event!! like a time limit to have a band formed like 2weeks? I mean, there's hardly any bands in karakura mainly because they don't have use- this could be a good way to introduce them

oh that does sound a bit odd.. hmmm… i mean to make it more fun there could be food stalls and such- i mean, it's supposed to be roleplay based.. rather than a mi****me sort of event

Obviously, I'm a huge fan of DetailRP and complications to make roleplay unique to your character specifically - it's what makes SchoolRP interesting. However, a lot of players in my opinion won't find this event too interesting, due to most people prefer doing /me's with one sentence, or very few complications (which is totally okay). Some players in the community also have expressed they're not the best at DetailRP - they struggle with making their actions more descriptive.

But, possibly if bands are chosen ahead of time to preform (meaning they could prepare and display actions ahead of time, possibly through Discord), it would be easier to organize and make it much more entertaining. I think this idea is amazing - it's a great way to display DetailRP as something more common rather than "scary," and it could hopefully inspire players to bring more detail in their actions.

Previously I had a band within SRP called Thredded Led, a new one is actually currently in the works right now, just waiting on skins. It's a 5 piece group centered around 80's rock/early 2000's songs. Completely on board with this idea!

The basis of this event seems very interesting as if we were to take a second to imagine it as if were happening in real life- It's probably something that would be energetic and exciting. Although, putting it into a Minecraft perspective is where it gets difficult, in my opinion.

It's a very heavily roleplay based event, which I am a fan of them, of course, as this is a roleplay server after all. But- My main issue is I really only see this as something that players who are not apart of the actual bands participating just watching their actions, cheering for whichever band they favor, and then listening to the music that goes along with it. So, it really can't be something as big as a server-wide event, but I could see this possibly being a smaller event.
