Trivia

What is your motivation for becoming a teacher?:
I have always loved teaching, currently i teach younger kids how to play the guitar in real life. I also know a lot of music theory so I can drill that into the student's heads as well. I follow a study called the Rock Academy, where I learn a lot about being in a band, managing a band, how to master an instrument, producing music and sound/light technician stuff. (i used to follow an education about Game Art (making games and the visuals for a game but quit in my first year) But mostly, it bothered me that there was no music teacher, or at least no music teacher on when I usually play.

Do you have any experience in Roleplaying?:
I have roleplayed since I was 12 years old starting with Dungeons & Dragons. Its more fantasy than real life but I know how to stay in character and not be myself.
Have you read the Faculty Handbook?:
Front to back
What are the classroom logs and why is it important?:
It's basically the schedule that teachers have done, or yet to do. Its important because of the teacher's activity on the server
You want to start a school field trip; how do you do that?:
I would find a suitable place to host a field trip, scope out the area for a bit and head to the principle or vice-principle to ask for permission to take the students out for a field trip soon.
As a teacher, what are the strict rules when being in a class?:
No swearing or profanity
No cellphones, three warnings and you're out
No eating in the classroom
Respect the privacy of the teacher and students
Leave the classroom neat and tidy
If you have a question, raise your hand. Don't blurt it out because that is disrespectful.
Ask for permission to leave the classroom with a good argument like going to the bathroom/nurse

Summarize your previous RP experience's (both in general and on SchoolRP):
Over the years I have joined many RP servers in minecraft. But none as well crafted as this one, and I mean it. The entire way the system works, the rankings, the realism. Its all amazing to me. I have a lot of fun on this server and roleplaying is my favourite thing to do.

Describe the ranking system of teachers:

- HD: Head of department, considered as highly qualified teachers of the subject.

- QTLS: Qualified teacher of learning skills, considered as certified qualified teachers and are able to teach their classes unaided

- NQT: New qualified teacher

Teacher Knowledge

Present to us your knowledge about Teachers in-game and out-of-game, what purpose do teachers serve. What salary do they get? Include a paragraph about the way teachers teach, what they do in their spare time in general.
A teachers purpose is to educate students and prepare them for their future. We give them the base knowledge to succeed in their future jobs. In my country teachers also give up their free time to help students out with problems they may have with their homework, peers or other faculty members.

In my country a teacher's salary ranges from 20k to 60k a year. Which isnt a lot, which is why they go on strikes a lot.

In their spare time at my old school (the Game Art one) teachers had a job next to it or their own Game Studio. We still often host Dungeons and Dragons campaigns every month with faculty and students. At my current study teachers have a band or producing label next to their teaching function. They usually have a second job to support the low income of a teaching salary.

Why are teachers important to a SchoolRP server?:
Teachers are important to SchoolRP because if there weren't any, it would just be a city RP. Without teachers or an education the world would come to a standstill and not progress culturally or technologically.

What lesson planning system does the school work on?:
Currently the school works on that a student: Must have, must succeed.

Character Knowledge

Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. How does he look like? What makes him unique and different? What is his outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is his personality like? What is his plan for the future?
Lars is a pretty young man aging 25, just finished his teaching degree in the Netherlands and moved to Karakura in Japan. He is really tall compared to most japanese people, standing at 6"3 weighing 143lbs. He has a relatively muscular build but also scrawny at the same time.

His personality is very laid back, but stern nonetheless. If a student makes the same mistakes in a short period of time he isnt afraid to let that be known. He doesnt think that he is better than students but rather sees them as equals. He respects his elders and other faculty members but if you don't give him respect or look down upon him, he wont be as kind as he usually is.

His plan for the future is to make the students ready for the world and educate them in the ways of music. Host music events where the students can perform their musical arts and to help them develop the skills they need to learn an instrument.

Scenarios

You find a gang of delinquents in the hallway cursing and swearing, what do you do?:
I would walk up to them to stop, if they do, I walk away. If they don't they get two more warnings before detention strikes upon them.

No one in your class is listening to a word you say, what do you do?:
I will say in a calm tone "Now if you're not quiet in 10 seconds, people are going to get sent out until they can behave" I won't actually do it, but it helps a lot (Known from personal experience)

When in the teacher's lounge, how does your character act?:
I would probably sip some coffee, make small talk with other faculty members. Ask them how they teach, what their approach is to students who do not behave.

Provide at least 5 detailed /me's of your character inside a classroom:

/me walks up to the piano and plays a soothing melody to calm the students down
/me looks around the room carefully before speaking
/me walks up to the instruments ready to hand them out to students
/me listens carefully to the beautiful music his students are producing
/me whilst explaining what chords are, he would play along each chord as he looks around the room for questions.

Backstory
After finishing his high school education at 16, he took up studying music. It was a long and hard struggle for his diploma, but he eventually got it at the age of 19. Lars was looking for a job that needed music but couldnt find any place that would hire him. So he started studying how to become a teacher, he had a lot of internships on highschools with unruly kids, sometimes the students would only listen to him. His music degree helped a lot with teaching the students, it even landed him a job in the Netherlands. But soon he'd discover that the salary is wack and other faculty members weren't so fond of him because he took the spotlight away from the other teachers.

At age 24 he would move to Karakura, freelancing a bit and busking on the streets for a year. Until he saw a job listing at Karakura High for a music teacher. He knew he had to reply right away, and so begins the story of Mr. Berghout

DENIED

- I appreciate the effort in applying. Best of luck to you in the future if you decide to apply again!

NOTES:
- Seeing you don't have any links to any previous applications - I can imagine you might not have all too much experience with the server. Becoming a teacher is a considerably large responsibility, I recommend you get some experience with other jobs before applying.

- Some sections could be a lot more detailed as well as more grammatically correct.
