WHAT YOU NEED TO SUGGEST OR MENTION:
This suggestion involves, as you can see in the title of this thread, a change in the way most gangs tend to advertise, host events, and pretty much ICly communicate with the peonple around them.
Up until now, the way most of these people would do this is by sending a message, image, video, or any kind of media to all of the devices found in Karakura. Now, although this is easy to do, considering you only need to send the message for everyone in your server to see it ICly, it does not work that well in real life. To start off, I highly doubt that every gang has enough knowledge to be able to bypass every single Japan defense barriers that prevent people from hijacking devices. Even though, most gangs, if not all decide to do this to grow in popularity, gain reputation, etc., despite not being realistic at all

Now, moving onto the suggestion itself, I would like to recommend that, those gangs that have been verified and are in the Karakura Crime Roster can have their very own discord server that, ICly, would work as an application that one can access with a certain password, just like Touko. Now, the only thing that would actually be taken ICly would be the announcements channel, given that it would be considered as meta-gaming if gang organizations used these other channels to ICly communicate between each other

If a whole new discord server would be way too much, there are ways for people to input a certain password in the already-existing gang server to give themselves a certain role which allows them to see IC messages that are shared among all of the people who have the "app".

For example, let's take Unforgiven. With this change, the server would remain exactly the same, but with the new addition of an "IC-Announcements", which would be a hidden channel that can only be accessed if a certain password is introduced in a "password" channel. This would be something alike to what Touko does, but in the field of gangs.
Furthermore, it would also add up to more roleplay possibilities, allowing gang members to spray-paint the password for their "gang app" on some of the spray-paint spots. Now, I suggest that this is only authorised to verified gangs that are included in the Karakura Crime gang roster, in order prevent any kind of abuse from newcoming gangs whose only purpose is to stay alive for a certain amount of time, and abuse the IC-Announcements system

However, if you would like a graphic portrait of what I've explained, let me know so that I can give an example

Pointless, overbearing, difficult to achieve (especially if you want every gang to hop on this trend.) and finally what appears to be a waste of time, a fun concept that would of been better executed if you had of gone to these gang-leaders themselves and pitched it. I don't see why you've suggested this become a "rule" when this could've easily been suggested to a individual gang to try out.

I came up with this suggestion as a way to avoid sending "IC messages to everyone in Karakura". It is not realistic at all to send a message to everyone in a whole city, bypassing every kind of security measurements. It is highly unrealistic to do this, and I have met some people who have complained about the fact that police have also seen the announcement (since the message was sent to everyone), some of whom even accused us of meta-gaming. This is why I thought that adding this feature would serve the purpose of providing realism to these announcements while also making it somewhat easier for the GangRP community to communicate with their followers, without having to face the consequences of police also knowing about these posts

Basically, what I meant is that the suggestion itself is to remove the feature for gangs to be able to hijack into any device they want, since it is realistic. The second part is just an idea for gangs to be able to communicate to their followers, rather than something that should be imposed
