My current age is 25

Indeed I do.

What is your background? (Backstory.):

When Masayo Kouma was born In japan she had a loving family even though she lived very close to the Shinto Shrine as when she was little she herself had gotten rite she was under Kami’s protection as when she got a little older she spends most of her days practicing Cleansing and praying, she was soon enough to get taught how to do the basic miko stuff such as offering to maintain and even helping some priest with ritual’s, Her family was one to be very serious with their religion Masayo started to become very serious with it once she got older and older, her mother was an Itako herself, Masayo looked up to her mother since she was in the Shinto Shrine when she saw her mother doing her job, Masayo determined most of her life to always stay on top of the Shinto Shrine religion as she got older and older she kept practicing and here she is today applying to be like her mother just maybe a rank or two under or over.

Write a letter to the shrine lead:

Dear, Shrine Leader,

This letter is written as an application, to work for the Shinsei Seinaru Monastery, in Karakura. Knowing such as violence and discourteous teens for disrespecting the sprits and the god’s I feel like I would able to fulfill the role to those, Living up to be near and in the religion of Shinto Shrine, I had devoted my whole life to Shinto Shrine and I do wish to continue to devote my life to it.

Sincerely, Masayo Kouma

SITUATIONS

How do you cleanse before entering the shrine?:

/me she would walk in grabbing a dipper, standing she would then get a small amount of water pouring it into her right hand, washing it doing the exact same to the left after she was done she would put the dipper back in the water grabbing another small amount of water pouring it in her mouth spitting it out in the right area with a smile on her face continuing the daily requirements.

For every cleansing, you do have to use a certain amount of water while doing it. Making sure you cleanse your hands and mouth before entering the shrine.

How do you pray to a Kami?:

/me She would get her waist into a 90-degree angle repeating a slow bow twice to greet the kami, she would have straightened her back with posture. Having her hands chest height

Clapping two times for appreciation as she then would have her hands shoulder-width apart, after doing so she would have begun to pray to the kami.

How do you enter shrine grounds?:

/me she would approach the gate as she bowed once in respect to the Torii, walking on the guidelines of the gate...

It’s respectful to bow to the torii gate for many reasons it’s you asking for permission to enter and it shows respect, as walking in the middle of the path is reserved for guardian deities.

How would you proceed with a ritual to offer the kami offerings?:

One is offering such bowls of rice and vegetables or even sake to them. Offering meat to a kami is forbidding, Kami’s only take fresh fruit or vegetables. After you must pray to your dear kami and then remove the offerings when you have finished your praying.

Someone comes to the shrine and asks for information about Shintoisme, what can you respond to them with using your own knowledge about the religion?:

I would first inform them about the behind story of the Shintoisme, such as modern Japanese history, and then explain to them why it is important to be respectful to those. She would then go over the religious beliefs and traditions, then explaining to them why it’s important to bow every time you cross the tori gate.

Someone wishes to receive a rite of passage for their child, how do you proceed?:

Masayo would ask the parents to come back after the birth preferably on the 31st after their birth, reassuring the parents to see the child’s gender if it was a male they would have to come back on the 33rd. If a female Masayo would have to give the child to go under the kami’s protection

You notice a ritual has not been done. What do you do?:

Recurring the person by going by over their mistakes, after she did she would have sat down with them showing them the mistakes that they may have made and to help them to perform the ritual perfectly, seeing if they have incivility behavior during it I would have to scold their actions.
