Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?: Yes, I will try my best to show devotion through working as a teacher, and I understand that not showing this kind of effort will get me demoted.

Describe your activity on the server & on the forums?: I usually play every day for a few hours. There are some days where I will play for very long, maybe even 6-8 hours sometimes. I would describe myself as a fairly active player that contributes to lots of different roleplay scenarios here and there.
As of the forums, I have been highly active from time to time, as I used to post roleplay scenarios that happened in-game on the forums. Recently, I also requested more CCTV to be added to the feedback section.

How long have you played SchoolRP for?: I started somewhere around 2016-2017, being mostly on and off, but for the last two years, I have been taking RP more seriously.

Trivia

What is your motivation for becoming a Professor?: I wish to widen my roleplay experience and finally find a suitable RP job, as the jobs I had in the past were not fitting, as at the time I had a lot going on and couldn't manage it while dealing with stuff in real life. However, now that I have more free time, I want to become a professor. I think I will enjoy it very much and I also would like to flesh out one of my older characters via roleplaying as a teacher. In short, I aspire to become a professor for roleplay purposes.

Do you have any experience in Roleplaying?: As previously mentioned, I have been playing since 2016-2017ish, but I've only been taking roleplay seriously for the past two years. I find myself sufficient when it comes to writing stories and characterization, having watched and read many stories and techniques since then. When necessary, I can detail RP fluently and quickly.

What are the classroom logs and why is it important?:
The entire purpose of keeping track of classroom logs is in order to determine exactly how much needs to be paid to the professors. A good professor will always make sure to have their classroom logs up to date and prepared at the end of the month in order to receive their salary.

As a Professor, what are the strict rules when being in a class?:
The rules can vary among professors but some key rules that any teacher would add include:

  • No violence. Any kind of physical or verbal violence is not permitted (debating is an exception) in an environment where a professor is trying to teach and the students are trying to learn. Any violence will result in extreme punishment, depending on the level of violence.
  • No distractions. This means electronics, toys, anything that will prevent a student from being able to pay attention during class time. A professor should always require 100% of the student’s attention.
  • No eating during class unless it is a small snack. Lunch is for lunchtime, not class time. Drinking water is ok.
  • Be at your best behavior. As a professor, it is imperative that a professor is considerate but also strict so students don’t slack off. For the students, however, it is very important that they are always doing what the teacher asks, pays attention, show respect to the teacher and colleagues, and answers questions that are asked by the teacher. These are all key factors of being on best behavior. Acting on bad behavior can cause heavy punishments.
  • One person talking at a time. Whether there is a lecture or class discussion, there should only be one person talking at a time. Students may raise their hands in order to ask questions or add on to the discussion.

Summarize your previous RP experience's (both in general and on SchoolRP):
Up until the last few months, my RP experience has been nothing crazy or special. Each one of my characters has made at least a few friends, some have dated and some have not. About a few months ago, however, I joined the basketball team and met a lot of people, and this offered more roleplay opportunities, but most of my roleplay wasn’t directly tied with basketball, but more so with strange scenarios, like that one time, my character kissed Dallas Caines’ shoes.
With my newer character, he has started a coalition of sorts in order to fight against the crime and murder that occurs in Karakura, communicating with a high variation of people around, handing out flyers, and explaining his reasoning.
My current college character has also had many strange occurrences where he will try to flirt with a woman and fail terribly. He tends to be goofy around girls, and although it is a simple, common characteristic among comedy-relief characters, I find it highly entertaining to roleplay out.
Of course, through all of these experiences, I make sure to use proper grammar and punctuation, sufficient detail RP(not being too excessive or too minimum), and an accurate portrayal of a character I created.

College-Professor Knowledge

Please show your knowledge of College-Professors. What are the tasks a College-Professor has to complete, What is a College-Professor's salary?
Professors are educators. Their purpose and job are to educate the students of the school, in order for the student to have the best understanding of a subject(s). They are also embedded with mutual respect to all, whether it be on campus or off. Every professor should have at least a basic logic mindset and a tendency to avoid goofing off or acting stupid. While professors can be friendly to their students, they must not forget that their job is their priority- to educate the students.
Professors(as well as teachers) are the backbone of the server. They are what make students 'students'. Without professors, students are unable to learn and be educated, thus taking away from the entire school process. Professors serve one of the most important roles in contributing to the school setting and also branching out the idea of a university.
The addition of professors also helps expand the variation of characters in SRP and makes roleplay realistic tenfold. Taking teachers out of the equation would be a major downfall for the server and roleplay as a whole. Looking at it that way, it's simple to see just how much value teachers have.
The monthly salary of a professor is 450,000 yen per 15 classes. There is a bonus, however, that allows a professor to earn an extra 50,000 by completing 10 more classes (25 total), which can be used twice a month. Meaning that the highest number of classes that can be taught in a month is 35, and the highest monthly salary would be 550,000 yen.

Character Knowledge

Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. What does he/she look like? What makes him/her unique and different? What is his/her outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is his/her personality like? What is his/her plan for the future?

Description
Seruto Fukuroda is a 6’1 Japanese male with black hair and hazel-brown eyes. His features were very smooth yet concrete, and he seemed to always have peace of mind. He is observant and intelligent, watching every step he and the others around him make, always trying to look ahead in order to figure out how things will pan out in the future. Although he is capable of laughing, smiling, and being pleased, he never seems completely happy. Perhaps this could be because of his extended periods of solitude, or simply reminiscing about the bad past. He was built properly, not too jacked, but not too lanky either. At 29 years old, he still maintains his athletic prowess and knows how to play basketball.
Unique Traits
His overall personality tends to be a very neutral yet kind one, having an honest spirit and following his ideologies to the end. There are moments he will have where he will blurt out whatever is on his mind, completely disregarding any consequences or reactions. However, during the last 9 years, he has been able to refrain from this mannerism with greater control. This is a unique trait of his that used to be more unstable in his younger years
Outlook on students/teachers/etc.
He would like to be on friendly yet professional terms with all of his students and co-workers, as any worker in any job should. However, even if students and professors have completely different traits, he never forgets that everyone is human and always tries his best to be considerate and respectful inside and outside of class.
Plans for the future
To tell the truth, Seruto has never been a big planner for the future. He tends to go with the flow and do as he pleases. As of right now, however, he intends to become a teacher in order to have a sustainable job and a fun one at that, to satisfy himself.

Scenarios

You find a group of sport-team members screaming and shouting in the halls, What do you do?
I would threaten detention if the shouting does not cease instantly. If this does not cause students to stop, I will send them to detention right away or wait until after school, whichever is best suited based on the time.

A College-Student is disturbing the class and won’t listen to a word you’re saying, What do you do?
Shout if necessary in order to get the student’s attention, demanding that the student ceases to stop interfering with class and pays attention, and if not, that the student can be sentenced with detention.

Provide at least 5 detailed /me's of your character inside a classroom:

/me with his hands in his pockets, he walked across the classroom, curving around his desk and walking behind it. Standing behind his chair, he exchanged glances between the various faces of students, pausing shortly before speaking, ”Good morning, students. My name is Seruto Fukuroda, and I am a new professor at Karakura University. I teach Sociology, and I look forward to educating you in the crafts of society.” his hands left his pockets, and he placed his palms on the top of his desk, leaning down a bit. ”You can call me Mr. Fukuroda, Professor Fukuroda, Professor, or just Fukuroda. I’m fine with any of those. Before I start this course, I would like to set some of my ground rules.” he then walked up to the whiteboard, picking up a piece of white chalk, and began writing on the whiteboard, speaking what he was writing word for word. ”Number one. . .” scribble, scribble, ”No goofing off. '' he stopped scribbling, turning to face the students. “I’m here to teach well-disciplined college students, not kindergarteners.”

/me after all the rules were seemingly finished, he set the piece of chalk down, walked around to the front of his desk, and sat on it. He intertwined his fingers, resting his hands in his lap, and crossed his left leg over his right. ”This is not a rule, but I want you, students, to let me know if you have any issues inside or outside of school. I know that this city can be rough to be in sometimes, so I want to make sure all of my students are safe and not scared. Please don’t feel any shame or guiltiness. If there is someone causing trouble, I would like to know. If you need me after hours, whether it's for advice or you have a question about my course, my phone number is on the whiteboard.” sighed smoothly, closing his eyes for a moment. ”Alright, that’s it for now. You are all dismissed.”

/me would quickly scribble on the whiteboard with a small piece of chalk, stepping away from the drawing in order for the whole class to see. A stick figure. Then, he spoke, ”A society is a group of people contributing alongside each other in order to form a community- a simple concept I’m sure you’re all familiar with. But there is also. .” he drew a long stroke and then tapped the whiteboard with the chalk, forming a question mark. ". .The study of society. Sociology. I will be teaching you how society works, when certain ideas are innovated- everything you will need to learn about Sociology will be learned in this class.” placed the piece of chalk on the metal edge below the whiteboard. ”Any questions so far?”

/me he stood up with a straight and strong posture, speaking with his tone a bit higher in order for all the students to hear him clearly, ”Diving into what the study of society means as a whole, we have to look at the nature of a human being. What makes a society? What makes a human 'human'? What are some characteristics various societies share? Some differences? These are questions you should commonly be asking while you are in my class, and even out of my class.” he walked around his desk to the front row of desks, beginning to sort of pace around, back and forth. ”What I want you to take away from this class is to have a better understanding of the people around you in order for you to become more oriented and straightforward. This is one of those classes where you will need some, if not all of the information that is given to you, so I would advise that you give me your best behavior and full attention. Are we clear on that?”

/me he walked through the rows of desks, handing every student a journal. ”These are your Sociology Journals. I would like you to hang on to them so you have one journal you can constantly keep notes in. This will save lots of paper and journals from being used. Please write your name on them and don’t lose them. While they aren’t exactly expensive, it's still important that you keep responsibility for them." Just as he finished, he returned to the front of the class, stuffing his hands in his pockets. “It shouldn’t be that difficult, it's just a notebook. Also, if you missed something during one of our discussions or lectures, feel free to come by after class and ask me.”

Backstory

Early Years
Seruto Fukuroda was born on May 8th, 1992, in Cleveland, Ohio. Born from Japanese immigrants, he was raised in America until the age of 11, when his parents disowned him and he was sent to Japan to live with his uncle. His uncle would act as his father figure for the next 7 years until he passed away due to lung cancer.
During his adolescent years, he went to a normal school in the city of Osaka. He was part of a group of friends that did all they could to contribute to the town, volunteer, and provide service to those in need. All of these friends, including Seruto, looked up to his uncle since they were very young.

College to Adult Years
After he graduated from high school, he parted ways with his lifelong friends. Then he applied to study at Karakura University, suggested by his uncle before he passed. There, he studied for 4 years, completing all the necessary courses and earning a bachelor's degree. Then, he quickly moved to Tokyo in order to take a sales job, needing money desperately in order to pay for college debt and self-sustainability. After 5 years, he had resigned from his job as a sales worker and applied to take 2 more years of college at Kyoto University, ranked #38 by Global World Rankings 2021. His application was only successful due to the portrayal of his hard efforts and exceptional academic ability. Earning his Master’s Degree was a challenge, however, he managed to make it through with very high grades and graduated very successfully. Then, he applied for a teaching job at Karakura University.
