Yes I do and I will try my best to be as active as I can be.

Describe your activity on the server & on the forums?:

On the server I play for around 4+ hours per day minimum and 10+ maximum. I try to mostly make friends and have an overall good time. I like to hangout with people and roleplay any kind of situation; thus furthering my roleplay experience as much as I can. I think this job on the server will help me further my roleplay experience. Currently, on an alt, I am on the baseball team; so I have been trying new areas of roleplay. I enjoy the plugins for each sport as well, I try to be somewhat good at each such as volleyball, basketball and football. When I am not hanging out with my friends on the server roleplaying, I try to look for ways to entertain myself like maxing out my attributes, getting better at sports, looking for new role plays I can involve myself in. I also have had experiences with different kinds of groups such as families. Last but not least, I enjoy going to the parkour at the Karakura Mountains; honing my skills and killing time.

As for the forums, I mostly look over applications of friends rating them or roleplay documents such as interviews and besides that I make some myself.

How long have you played SchoolRP for?:

I joined in the winter of 2019 taking a- three month break, I believe- somewhere in 2020. Since returning, I have continued roleplaying up until this day.

Link(s) to any previous applications on the server?:

Current Role/Degree/Grade on SchoolRP?:

Currently, on this account, I am a [Grade-12].

Trivia

What is your motivation for becoming a Professor?:

As I have mentioned before, I want to further my roleplaying experience. I believe this would be the best course of action; a step in the right direction. I know some of the current professors and they have told me it is a fun experience for both them and the students. I also have an interest in the subject I want to teach; painting. In my opinion, it is a fun subject that I want to spread more around the server. I am able to do all kinds of fun activities with the subject, as it is not such a strict one. I believe it would also offer the students a more enjoyable experience overall on SRP. I haven't participated in an art class yet on srp, mostly because I haven’t seen anyone teach it yet. I think bringing this care-free and fun subject will really motivate the students and give them a breath of fresh air. I could also come up with events that would involve students in my class; only making it that much more fun!

Do you have any experience in Roleplaying?:

In the past, when I first joined the server, I was taught CombatRP. This led me to learn GangRP; although it's been quite some time since I've done GangRP. After cooling it with the GangRP, I started making more friends outside of GangRP. Furthermore, I have expanded my horizons with different kinds of roleplays that are fun, for example I have learned how to DetailRP cooking in the culinary class in college. I am focusing on making my DetailRP better in other kinds of classRPs such as drama class. I've practiced with the sports’ plugins as well as branching out into the city, the teams I've been in, the clubs I've been and am in, the places I have worked at have all helped me down this path. Lately, I have self reflected and I am proud of myself for coming so far since I’ve joined. It’s simple stuff from learning how to be a cashier at a shop, to learning how to behave properly and DetailRP in a culinary class. Besides that, I have roleplayed on different servers; with my first roleplay experience going as far back as 2016.

What are the classroom logs and why is it important?:

I believe the classroom logs are where you can log every class you have taught during the month containing things information about the class you taught such as, time, what was taught in that period, perhaps proof of holding the class, day, etc. They are important because without them a professor might lose track of the number of classes taught. In doing so, their salary might be in jeopardy. Furthermore, you need the logs to ensure you meet your monthly quota.

As a Professor, what are the strict rules when being in a class?:
  1. Attend as many classes as you can.
  2. Listen to the instructor and take good notes (In doing so, a higher grade is guaranteed).
  3. If there is a problem like an injury, inform me immediately.
  4. When planning on being absent or leaving class early (for an event or practice) inform me beforehand.
  5. Get to class on time.
  6. Do not have pointless private conversations
  7. Art is subjective, be ready for criticism and pointers
  8. If you respect others, others will respect you
  9. If you have an issue with a lesson or me personally, please come see me privately to discuss said problem, I will do my best to right any wrongs.

Summarize your previous RP experience's (both in general and on SchoolRP):

As I have mentioned before, I've been roleplaying on servers since 2016, I have been assigned with different kinds of roles on countless minecraft pocket edition servers; windows 10 edition servers and java edition servers. The PE servers were more about building for RP servers lightly taking part in the RP. I loved to build, but also moderated most of them being an administrator more than just a few times. The windows 10 servers were a short period in my overall minecraft experience as there aren't that many windows 10 edition oriented servers that I was interested in; moderating only a few. At last the java servers, I cannot recall the names of them as I hopped from server to server. The first one I was moderator in was based on a small community of around 20 people. The second one I was administrator on and it was a bit bigger, consisting of a daily player base of 40-50 players. As for the third one, it was a downgrade being just regular in the grand scheme of things. The server that had a player base of around 30 players, and the last one I was on before I joined SRP, being bigger than all of the others having 60 players daily; being another regular on the server. Once joining a much bigger community like SRP, I have developed my roleplaying skills a lot. On SRP, I have tried to experience all of the RPs SRP has to offer from roleplaying as a personal chef, to a bodyguard at a club, to a military oriented school club. I have made a lot of friends on the server that I RP with daily to hone my RP knowledge with. The most active RPs I try to be in are the ones that include jobs or fun plugins such as being a cashier at a bakery, or being the coach of a volleyball team, or being part of the college baseball team.

College-Professor Knowledge

Please show your knowledge of College-Professors. What are the tasks a College-Professor has to complete, What is a College-Professor's salary?

A College-Professor tasks include:

Mentoring the students: This is an obvious one. It implies that a professor does his-or-her duty correctly, educating the students instead of wasting time in their class. While also making class fun and enjoyable.

Enforcing their classroom rules as well as the school rules if necessary: They should make sure that order is present within their classroom. They should also patrol the halls and ensure order. If they notice something out of the ordinary, such as a fight, they should be ready to take action.

Building the course curriculum: This means that they should hold responsibility over their subject. They should have prepared lessons and academic content ready to teach their eager class of college students.

Preparing a course syllabus: This entails that the professor should have a requisite document for teaching. It serves to outline the basic elements of a course, including what topics will be covered. It should also contain a weekly schedule, and a list of tests and assignments, and of course their associating grades.

Creating supplemental instructional materials: If a professor works hard enough, they may run through the whole material planned for the year. That being the case, they should always have something prepared. Perhaps something left up their sleeve for the end of the year; when most of the material already has been presented.

Accurately evaluating students’ progress: A professor should always make sure no one falls behind in their class and reward the students that excel in it, as an incentive to try to do better and keep track of the work presented.

Grading: This one is self-explanatory, but grading the work of each student is an important matter.

A College-Professor's salary is ¥450,000 (Yen). If they succeed in completing their quota of 15 classes in addition to an extra ten classes, they will be rewarded with an additional ¥50,000 (Yen). If a professor cannot complete his quota of 15 classes, not only will he not receive his paycheck, but punishments may accompany his failure in doing so.

Character Knowledge

Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. How does he/she look like? What makes him/her unique and different? What is his/her outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is his/her personality like? What is his/her plan for the future?

Physical description

Aston Aldridge would be a 6'3 ft tall Malagasy male from Madagascar. He’d sport a smooth, soft, thick, jet-black head of hair. To accompany them, he’d have dark brown eyes, which would mostly remain half-closed giving off a slightly arrogant, condescending, or downright sleepy vibe. Aston would have a buff build, it being obvious he worked out on a regular basis. He’d wear a constant resting face, formed into a slight frown. His nose would be rather small in comparison to his other masculine features; although not small enough to the point where it looked feminine. His cheeks would look shaven and complementary angular. His lips would be shaven. His upper lip held a soft garnet hue. His chin would also be shaven, being rather narrow. His voice would be rather velvety and smooth, with just a hint of huskiness to offset it.. His physical appearance would betray his moral one, looking rather menacing. This would be tempered and washed away the minute he spoke, allowing his true colors to come out from within.

Moral description

Aston would be a complex individual. While giving off a sort of aloof tone due to his masculinity and appearance, his moral compass often saw him helping others when he could; that and being raised the way he was as an Aldridge of course. Although kind and caring, he also knows how cold and cruel the world can be. He can be the nicest person until he’s not. He is not someone to underestimate or take lightly; he’s no joke and definitely nothing to laugh at. Aston does not take kindly to mockery. Being born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he rarely knew hardship; how to take on a yet-to-be-known cold world. That was, until the love of his life, turned and cheated on him. After growing up with supportive and loving parents, sharing that unconditional love with a girl like her; it left him drained and broken. He felt hollow; or at least, almost hollow. You see, even if he had been torn up, chewed up and spit out, had what he felt like the world against him, he still pulled through; with help from art. Art inspired him and he used it as an outlet to let all the pain, all the emotions flow out into something productive. He hopes someday he can help others do the same, to let out their emotions into something productive; to make true works of art. He pours heart into everything he can, though a bit too much can send him full on megalomaniac; though he’s trying to balance it out.

Uniqueness

Aston always believed in seeing things from different angles; that there “has to be another way” of doing something. When situations seem rough or aren't in his favor, he loves to try new things. This can be viewed in his way of teaching. He believes with enough incentive and new interactive ways of teaching students, he will be able to make each and every one of them great artists. Besides that, his charisma could persuade even the most stubborn of people. He certainly isn't one to give up easily and when the odds aren’t in his favor, he’ll level the playing field.

Outlook on students

He believes each and every one of the students that enter his classroom are unique and need special and different care. He sees them as lost, young adults looking for a path in life and guidance. He tries to nudge them in the right direction by bringing a new hobby into their life; one that helped him through trying times like his breakup that nearly broke him. He attempts to get them to excel at everything they do in his class. He believes art is one of the most beautiful ways someone can express themselves and wishes to help the students do just that.

Outlook on his peers

He believes that every other College-Professor is just like himself and finds comfort in talking to them. He’ll take joy in collaborating with them when he needs help or ideas. He is eager to start working with them and can't wait to meet them all. He believes he will go on and do great things alongside them. He is most eager to meet professors that teach in the same category as him; Major Arts. He values them closest to his own being due to their shared interest in the arts of life. He cannot wait to hear their input and plans on working with them closely.

Plans for the future

He wants to dedicate his life to the art of painting. Not only teaching it to new students, but even learning a thing or two himself; even a master never truly stops learning. He wishes to become a household name and leave an impact on all around him. He is confident in his skills and believes that anyone can be the best if they just try. He plans on teaching everything that he knows to the students of the college, joking about how they're gonna surpass him one day. While being a professor he wants to make his family proud and only help to boost the Spartan name and the college as a whole.

Scenarios

You find a group of sport-team members screaming and shouting in the halls, What do you do?

Aston would step out of the room as he slowly strolled down the hall. With his hands concealed in his pockets, he would whistle a tune as he approached the sight. As his melody grew, he’d attract the attention of the misfits. Once all eyes were on him, he’d give a single command; “Come.” He'd lead his newfound entourage back into his classroom and line them up near the front. Casually, he leaned back against his desk; propping himself up with his arms. He’d study the faces of the group before sighing and speaking. He’d explain why they shouldn't scream in the halls of the school, how they're disturbing others, that they are Spartans and should act like it. He’d finish by kindly asking them to stop.

A College-Student is disturbing the class and won’t listen to a word you’re saying, What do you do?

Aston, after repeated warnings, would sigh. Approaching the student, overshadowing them with his mere size and presence, he’d swiftly usher them a detention. This, of course, would be a last resort. If the student does not calm down during the following detention, SLT will be notified.

Provide at least 5 detailed /me's of your character inside a classroom:

/me Aston would be standing in front of the classroom smiling, clapping his hands together as he exclaimed "Welcome back to the Art Class more specifically, painting!" he'd give the students a big, bright smile tilting his head "Today is gonna be a fun little exercise for everyone!" As he talked, he'd place his hands back around his body, opening his mouth to talk again. As he stepped backwards behind his canvas, he’d continue to speak, "Today we're gonna try to do impressionist paintings, but you guys will pick a winner for a token reward! Isn't that exciting?" He'd chuckle, as he looked at the class waiting for a response.

/me Would let the last student come in after the final class call, closing the doors behind him. Turning to face the class, he’d speak, "Good morning! Hope you've all slept well and had enough rest ‘cause today we're gonna be learning about DaVinci!" He'd start heading to the opposite part of the class, still talking while doing so, "Please raise your hand if you don't have a notebook and a pen so I can give you one and get started!" He'd give the students a reassuring smile before his facial expression would change into a surprised one, "Forgot to tell you, this will probably be stretching over multiple chapters, DaVinci's work is quite vast and if we were to study it into depth we would study him for years-" he'd chuckle nervously, "So let's try to pay attention and get through this quickly? I've only selected the most significant of his work, no need to worry you won't be hearing about the same guy for the entirety of my class." He'd then head to the closet grabbing a few books and pens, looking around the class for the ones that raised their hand.

/me Aston would clear his throat, clapping twice after to make everyone pay attention, "Alright settle down, settle down." He'd wait for everyone to stop talking before he opened his mouth, "The theme of today is home!" He'd step forward in front of his stretcher, "Meaning you can paint whatever makes you feel like home! Whether it is a place, a plushie or perhaps a person!" He'd look around the class nudging the air with his elbow "Eh? Eh? No love birds? I thought you guys were supposed to- nevermind. Start painting!" He would place his arms behind his back as he started walking amongst the canvases and students, looking left and right at them painting. He'd stop at the back of the class, looking over at a student that had a blank canvas, looking a bit concerned, he’d question "So tell me Hailey, why haven't you started painting? Do you need help?" His concerned look turned into a warm smile trying to ease her and help her get her work done.

/me He would hear a timer on his phone go off, taking it out and turning it off before placing his phone back in his pocket. "Ok, time's up! Everybody please pick up your stretcher and turn it around to face me so we can start grading them!" Aston would seem very excited to see the work the students have done. He'd turn around his stretcher as well for the class to look at his painting. It would be almost flawless, the sky would be painted a soft warm aqua, the clouds looking like they were cotton candy and the sun looking very textured and shaded well, the light reflecting and bouncing off of all the right things in the painting. The trees he had painted would look as if they were real, the bark having every little detail added and the leaves looking like they were placed in the trees individually by Aston himself. The pond would reflect the sky in a beautiful manner, unseen by some in the class before the whole scenery looked like right out of a movie. After he turned around his stretcher, he'd place the back of his hands on his hips, confidently smiling at the students. "So!" He'd pause for a second, looking around the classroom "Who wants to go first?"

/me He would start giving out supplies to the students present speaking as he did so, "Ok everyone! Today we're gonna try something different!" He'd finish giving out the supplies as he finished his sentence. "We're gonna do something abstract, now I have prepared one in advance so you guys can have a little inspiration!" He would go up to his canvas placed on the stretcher, taking a piece of the tarpaulin off of his stretcher; revealing a painting full of geometric shapes split by dark lines. All of the shapes would be either dark shapes of red or purple. It would look indeed abstract, making it kind of hard to make out what Aston had painted. "Oh yeah forgot to mention, the theme of today is “2 opposing sides existing in the same environment”. Another good example would be yin and yang, we all know the symbol. Well get to work!" He'd take out his phone, setting a timer on it, placing it back in his pocket after closing it.

/me He'd start placing his tarpaulin over his painting. "Ok well that was it for today! Thank you all so much for coming! Mark, great painting, I believe the others agree. I will see you all next class where I hope to see as many of you as I did today! Dismissed." He'd go to the door opening it, before going around the stretchers collecting the art supplies, placing them back in the closet. After that, he'd start placing tarpaulins over the rest of the stretchers cleaning up the mess he made along with his class in the classroom. Once done with everything, he'd step out of the classroom, closing the doors, locking them after placing the keys in his pocket.

Backstory

Aston was born in Madagascar, 1979. He comes from a loving family, always being the silver spooned kid that everyone looked after. His mom was a kind, loving, and loyal wife; always looking after him, his brother, and his sister. While his father was a hard working man that provided more than enough for his family, always buying things for him and his brother; spoiling them with love. As he grew up, Aston grew to like this unconditional love and became a kind, caring person. Meanwhile his brother was more rough around the edges, but still a good person. His sister acted sort of like a second mom to the two boys, though she was hardly old herself; merely being 4-5 years older. Being closer in age, his brother and him were inseparable. Aston, around 9 years old, while walking with his dad past a shop, saw a painting of a couple holding hands; stargazing. It was at this moment he tugged on his father's sleeve and pointed at the painting, asking if that's how his father and his mother were. The father, of course, chuckled at the cute comment. He’d pat the boy's head, nodding in confirmation of the fantasy. He saw how much Aston loved the painting, so he bought it. Immediately after receiving the piece, the young boy fell in love with the art of painting. He would talk about it at dinner, at school, and to basically everyone he met. His parents thought it was a nice hobby and admired his passion for it. To feed his aspirations, they purchased the necessary supplies for him to start becoming "a little artist" as they liked to call him. His brother was kind of indifferent about the whole thing, thought it was a phase. Through his teen years Aston attended an art school in Madagascar and went on to win countless prizes for his paintings. His most renowned one, being an exact replica of "The Starry Night" by Van Gogh, auctioned for 3000 dollars. With the money earned and a hereditary sense for travel, he moved to France to continue his study in art. There, he met a girl around his age named Jolie. She shared the same love as him for painting, so they got close pretty quickly. One night, they were snuggling up in a bean bag admiring a replica of “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” by Hokusai when Jolie asked Aston if he wanted to move to Japan. After a moment of consideration, he agreed and they both started planning their life there. After a few weeks of preparing, they finally set off and left Paris to settle in Japan. Together, they rented a nice cozy apartment in a town close to Karakura. They were living the "happily ever after" dream until he found out Jolie was cheating on him with another man and he left her. He skipped town, trying to forget her and ended up in Karakura. He took a break from painting to find a job and a place to live again, but after realizing his true passion was still painting, he quit his job and focused only on painting. He made enough money out of it to get a bigger apartment and one day while browsing the internet looking for a job that involved painting saw a position open for a College-Professor in Karakura. After gathering his works and resume, he opened his door, taking in a deep breath of the dawn’s crisp, spring air; set off for the school.
