Background:
Naree, and Yiwah Cho both grew up in the very unsafe part of Korea. Their Biological parents were unfortunately unable to take care of both of them due to financial struggles. However they cared for them both dearly. Their parents then decided to put them both into the foster care system and hope one day they could regain custody over them both. Though ends up never happening.. Naree was 5, and Yiwah was 10 at the time they were put into foster care.

Throughout their time in foster care they hopped from family to family, never being able to settle down in one spot. In these homes Naree tended to be favorited due to her innocence and calm quiet manners. Her brother on the other hand was jealous of Naree’s favoritism and was often reckless to gain that attention. Because of Yiwah’s recklessness they both got kicked from that foster family to another.. hence the hopping. However when Naree was 10, and Yiwah was 15 there was a family who finally favorited Yiwah. Yiwah was overjoyed to this acknowledgment and did everything in his power to keep it this way. This family though only wanted one child.. and Naree was too young for their liking so they sent just her back into foster care. Yiwah was very upset deep down for losing his sister like this.. he would regret this later on for not speaking up about her. Then while Yiwah enjoyed his new family finally settling down, Naree was still bounced around foster care before maybe, finally, finding her forever home at age 13. When Gem Hemphill was looking into adopting another child.

Yiwah now 18 years old is an adult and is free to leave his family home and start his own life. Which his deep regrets end up resurfacing.. and he decides to go find Naree and take her back but under his care.
