PERSONALITY

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
A quiet and modest young lady often found with her nose buried in a book, she is characterized by her vivid imagination, complex emotions, and deep well of empathy. Often lost in thought or writing away the secrets of her heart onto paper, she has an altruistic outlook on life. She strives to brighten people's days in her own gentle way and aims to make a positive impact on the world through her stories— stories she hopes others can relate to or find joy in reading.
As a perfectionist, she meticulously ensures that every letter and word is perfectly placed. However, the thrill of expressing her emotions through writing sometimes leads her to overlook details. Despite this, her dedication to the craft remains unwavering.
Her ambition is to become an inspiration, a muse for others. She dreams of being a guiding light, encouraging creativity and authenticity in those who encounter her work.
Beneath her composed exterior lies a sensitive and fragile soul. She is a hopelessly idealistic romantic, steadfast in her conviction to live authentically and remain loyal to her values. Her writings reflect her innermost thoughts and dreams, offering a glimpse into her tender heart.

BACKSTORY

As Hiyori entered her teenage years, she faced a series of diagnoses that would profoundly shape her journey. She was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, and ADHD. Each of these conditions presented its own set of challenges, yet they also offered unique perspectives that enriched her storytelling. Autism, for example, provided her with an extraordinary attention to detail and a distinctive way of perceiving the world, which she channelled into her writing. Her anxiety and depression, though often debilitating, also deepened her empathy and understanding of the complex emotions that characters in her stories might experience.
It was during her late teens that Hiyori came to a significant realization about her identity—she discovered that she was pansexual. This understanding added another layer to her journey of self-discovery, allowing her to embrace her sexuality and the rich spectrum of love and attraction that she felt. As she navigated her feelings, Hiyori found strength in expressing her identity through her writing, weaving themes of love, acceptance, and the beauty of diverse relationships into her stories.
Hiyori's decision to move to the quaint town of Karakura was a pivotal moment in her life. Karakura, with its serene landscapes and slower pace, offered a much-needed respite from the overwhelming hustle and bustle of Tokyo. It was a place where she hoped to find solace and quietude, a sanctuary where she could focus on her final year of high school and nurture her burgeoning talent as a writer. The move was not just geographical; it was symbolic of her journey towards self-discovery and acceptance.
In Karakura, Hiyori found herself embraced by a community that valued individuality and creativity. The town's picturesque surroundings inspired her writing, allowing her to craft enchanting tales that captured the magic of both the mundane and the extraordinary. Here, she met kindred spirits—friends

Despite the challenges posed by her mental health conditions, Hiyori's determination to succeed as a fairytale and children's author never wavered. She found that writing became a the****utic outlet, a way to articulate her feelings and experiences in a world where words often failed her in social settings. Her stories were imbued with themes of acceptance, friendship, and self-discovery, reflecting her own journey and offering solace to young readers who might feel out of place in their own worlds.
Hiyori's mother remained a constant source of support and inspiration throughout her journey. Her mother's strength and resilience in raising her alone taught Hiyori the value of perseverance and the importance of following one's passions despite the obstacles. This unwavering support gave Hiyori the courage to embrace her identity, both as an individual and as a writer.
As Hiyori worked on completing her final year of high school, she also continued to hone her craft, dreaming of the day she would publish her stories and share them with the world. Her ultimate goal was to create books that not only entertained but also provided comfort and understanding to children navigating their own challenges. In doing so, she hoped to contribute to a more inclusive and compassionate world— one story at a time.
