✧・゚: *✧・゚:* Out-Of-Character Information ✧・゚: *✧・゚:*

What is your Minecraft username?:

avauuhh

Do you have Discord (If so, what is your discord username?):
mulb3rry_

How old are you? (Optional):
18 years old.

What is your time zone?:
EEST

Describe your activity on the server:

Lately I’ve been online every day around 7 PM EEST, as I’m on a long vacation for a couple of months and have plenty of free time. When my schedule becomes busier, I usually log in about three to four times a week. Yet I’ve noticed that I recently lost interest because there isn’t much of new content in what I’m doing each time I join. It feels a bit repetitive, and I’ve been wanting something more engaging and interesting. This is one of the main reasons why I’m applying for a faculty position. I want to take on a more active role, challenge myself, and experience new things.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
I’m fully aware of that!

School Employee Role you are applying for?:
School Nurse

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:

As I mentioned earlier, I’m applying for the position of School Nurse!! A school nurse is a medical member of the school faculty, often regarded as the primary medical resource and support within the school community. Their role goes far beyond simply directing immediate health concerns they play a huge part in advancing the overall well being of both students and school staff. A school nurse’s main responsibility is to provide medical care whenever it’s needed, whether for a student or even a faculty member. This could range from addressing minor injuries, such as cuts or bruises, to quickly responding to more serious health emergencies. Their role also includes managing chronic conditions and medications. Furthermore, school nurses are responsible for promoting and encouraging healthy habits among students. They conduct regular checkups, such as vision and hearing tests, and ensure the school complies with local health and safety precautions. Moreover, a school nurse is not just a caregiver but also a supporter for the physical and mental health of the entire school population. Their massive skills and compassion help create a safe, supportive environment where students can succeed academically and personally.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:

I’ve always had a passion for role playing, and I’ve been actively involved in role play servers since I was young. The concept of role playing has always fascinated me because it allows me to step into different roles, explore various perspectives, and express creativity in unique ways. Beyond online role play, I’ve also participated in numerous plays and theatrical activities, which further fueled my love for this type of storytelling and character immersion. In early 2024, I decided to join school role play server. Over the past year, I’ve gained valuable experience and learned a great deal about how to build engaging narratives, collaborate effectively with others, and stay consistent in portraying roles. It’s been an opportunity to grow, not just in role playing skills but also in communication, and teamwork. While I’ve learned a lot, I know there’s always room for growth. I constantly strive to improve, refining my ability to bring characters to life, make interactions more meaningful, and contribute positively to the community. Role playing has become more than just a pastime for me, it’s a creative outlet that challenges me to think critically, connect with others, and bring stories to life in a way that resonates with everyone involved.

Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:

As I mentioned earlier, I often find myself losing interest because I end up repeating the same activities every day. That’s why I’ve been eager to apply for a job, particularly as a school faculty member. Out of all the roles, becoming a nurse felt like the best fit for me, as I have a natural talent for and interest in medical care. I believe taking on this role will help me regain my excitement and enjoyment on the server. Being part of the faculty will allow me to engage in something meaningful and dynamic, which I’ve been craving. It’s also a great opportunity to expand my social circle, make new friends, and connect with people who share similar interests. On top of that, I’m excited about the chance to improve my skills and broaden my knowledge of medical care. This role would not only keep me motivated but also allow me to grow both personally and professionally, while contributing positively to the community.

✧・゚: *✧・゚:* Situations ✧・゚: *✧・゚:*

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:

As a school nurse, Vivian maintains a calm in challenging situations. If a student begins cursing or behaving disrespectfully toward her, she approaches the situation with patience and understanding. She gently addresses the student, calmly pointing out that their behavior is inappropriate and disrespectful. Recognizing that children are still learning to manage their emotions, she may choose to overlook minor outbursts, focusing instead on diffusing the tension. However, if the student continues to exhibit disrespectful behavior, Vivian firmly but kindly issues a warning, emphasizing the importance of treating others, especially adults and faculty members, with respect. Should the situation escalate further, she doesn’t hesitate to involve another faculty member to help address the behavior appropriately while ensuring the safety and well being of all involved.

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:

When Vivian sees two students fighting in the hallway, she steps in right away, moving quickly but carefully to separate them. She makes sure to call another faculty member for backup, just in case things get out of hand.
Once the fight is broken up, she stays calm and collected, asking the students what happened to figure out why things escalated. If one or both students are hurt, she immediately asks them to come to the nurse’s office so she can treat their injuries and make sure they’re okay. Her main goal is to handle the situation safely, take care of any injuries, and remind the students that there are better ways to solve problems than fighting.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:

If Vivian witnesses another school employee acting inappropriately or dangerously, she prioritizes safety and proceeds carefully. She avoids confronting the employee alone to minimize potential risks to herself or others. Instead, she discreetly takes a quiet photo as evidence to document the behavior. Afterward, she checks for any security cameras in the area that might have also captured the incident.
Once she has evidence, Vivian immediately informs another faculty member or staff on site to help manage the situation and ensure everyone’s safety. If possible, she approaches the employee calmly and questions their actions, letting them know she is aware of what’s happening. In cases where the incident takes place in a closed area, Vivian ensures exits are secured until higher staff or administration arrives to address the issue, preventing any attempts to avoid escapes.

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?

In the employee break room, Vivian isn’t afraid to be herself. She’s naturally social and enjoys connecting with others, often sharing stories or engaging in lively conversations. While she maintains the same mature and gentleness she shows in front of students, she allows herself to relax a bit more in this space, understanding that no job is without its challenges.
Vivian doesn’t have much of a filter, so her personality shines through no matter where she is. Whether she’s sharing a laugh with colleagues or just unwinding between shifts, she brings her authentic self to the break room while still respecting the professional environment.

Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:

/me studied the student in front of her, noting the bloody nose and bruised eye. Moving quickly, she grabbed the medical kit from the drawer by the bed. “May I ask what happened?” she asked softly, her tone calm and reassuring. She wrapped a small piece of cotton in tissue and gently placed it in the student’s nose to stop the bleeding. Then, she grabbed an ice pack, pressing it carefully against the bruised eye. “It’s nothing serious,” she said with a kind smile. “Stay here until the swelling goes down. I’ll make sure to call for whoever did this to you.” She straightened, giving them another warm glance. “If you need anything, I’ll be right at my desk.” With that, she walked to her chair, sitting down but keeping a careful watch on the student.

/me scanned the area and spotted a student slumped in the corner, clearly drunk. “Oh my…” she murmured, taking a few cautious steps toward them. Leaning down to their level, she spoke softly, “Hey there, why don’t you come with me until you’re feeling better?” As the student shook their head, refusing her offer. She paused, considering how to convince them. Then, with a gentle smile, she said, “How about this if you come along, we can play some fun games. The winner gets a prize. What do you think?” Extending her hand, she gently encouraged them to stand, guiding them toward the nurse’s office.

/me sat back, sipping her coffee, when a sudden bang made her jump to her feet. Turning quickly, looking at the faculty member carrying a student with a bleeding head wound. As they gently placed the student on the bed she hurried over. “Oh my, what happened?” she asked, her voice full of concern. She grabbed the medical kit, quickly pulling out scissors, bandages, cotton, and antiseptic spray. She sprayed antiseptic on a cotton ball and gently dabbed at the wound, inspecting it carefully. Noticing it wasn’t too deep, she let out a small sigh of relief. “It’s not a deep cut, which is good” she said with a warm smile. “But you should still visit the hospital after school for a proper check up, just to be safe.” She cut a strip of bandage, placed a thick piece of cotton over the wound, and wrapped it securely, tying the ends tightly. “All done! Please be careful next time, and avoid heavy activity to help it heal faster. If you’re feeling fine, you can head back now. I’ll be here if you need anything!” she added, giving the student a reassuring smile.

✧・゚: *✧・゚:* Backstory ✧・゚: *✧・゚:*

Vivian Lorenz Jäger was born on July 4th, 1997, in Bremen, Germany. She grew up in a middle-class family with her mother, father, and two older siblings, a sister and a brother. Life was comfortable, though not luxurious. She was the youngest, but she often found herself taking care of her siblings. Whenever her brother sc****d his knee or her sister caught a cold, Vivian would step in with a determined look. “Hold still, this won’t hurt.” she’d say while patching them up with whatever supplies she could find. Even as a child, she enjoyed the sense of responsibility.

When Vivian was ten, her father left the family. She remembered the quiet tension in the house and her mother’s tired eyes as she tried to hold everything together. “We’ll be okay, I promise.” her mother had told her one evening, gently brushing Vivian’s hair. Her mother worked as a doctor, often coming home late and exhausted, but she always had stories about the lives she had saved. Vivian was in awe. However, tragedy struck when her mother was diagnosed with leukemia. Vivian tried to stay strong, often sitting by her mother’s hospital bed. “Tell me, what you’d do if you were a doctor?” her mother asked one evening. Vivian hesitated before answering, “I’d help people the way you do. I’d make sure they’re never alone, Mom.” Her mother smiled at her, proud despite the pain she was in.

When her mother passed away, Vivian’s siblings decided to leave Germany to start their own lives, but Vivian stayed behind. She found a small job at a nursery, where she looked after young children. One of the children, a shy boy named Ben, would always cling to her leg during drop offs. “It’s okay, Ben. We’ll play with the building blocks, remember?!” she’d say with a kind smile. Working at the nursery gave her a sense of purpose and taught her how much she loved caring for others.

At the same time, Vivian couldn’t stop thinking about her mother’s stories about being a doctor. Inspired by those memories, she began learning more about basic medical care. She started by reading about first aid and practicing on herself when she had minor injuries. “It’s not much, but I think I’m getting the hang of it. . .” she told a friend one day while showing them how to properly clean a wound, awkwardly smiling at them.

One day, Vivian received a phone call from a distant cousin. “Hello Vivi, you have a few family members in Karakura, Japan” they said. At first, she didn’t believe it, but curiosity got the better of her. She decided to visit Karakura and immediately fell in love with the bustling town. Sitting at the family store, drinking her coffee. She told her cousin as she thought. “It feels like this place has so much life. I think I could start over here.”

When she decided to move to Karakura permanently, she spent her first few weeks exploring. One day, she noticed a posting for a school nurse position on a bulletin board. “School nurse?” she murmured to herself. “That combines everything I’ve ever wanted, helping others and caring for kids. .” She immediately began preparing her application, brushing up on her medical knowledge and practicing her interview skills.

During the interview, she was nervous but confident. “Why do you want to work as a school nurse?” the interviewer asked. Vivian smiled and replied, “I’ve always loved helping others, especially children. Whether it’s an injured knee or someone feeling unwell, I want to be the person they can count on.” Her warmth shone through, and she was offered the job shortly after.

Now at 27 years old, Vivian works as a school nurse in Karakura. Every day, she greets the students with a smile. “What happened here?” she’ll ask a teary-eyed child, gently examining their injury. “Don’t worry, you’re in good hands. It seems like a small scar and you're strong enough for it. Right?” she told the child with a warm smile. Her journey wasn’t easy, but the challenges she faced shaped her into the person she is today. Whether she’s treating a student or simply offering a kind word, Vivian is proud of the life she has built. For her, becoming a school nurse wasn’t just a career choice. It was a chance to create a life filled with meaning, hope, and a sense of belonging.

Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):

Vivian leaned back, getting comfortable in the chair, her gaze resting warmly on the person across from her. A soft smile played on her lips as she began “I’ve heard so much about this place, especially from a few close friends who are already part of the faculty team. Their stories only made me more excited about the opportunity to join.” Her voice carried a genuine hint of excitement. “I’m really motivated to be part of the team” she continued, brushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear. “I look forward to experiencing new challenges, building connections with colleagues, and even forming bonds with the students.” She paused briefly, taking a deep breath.

“I’m fully aware of the massive responsibilities that come with this role. I’ll admit, it’s a bit intimidating at times, but I thrive on challenges and the chance to bring fresh ideas to the table.” Straightening the lapels of her suit blouse, she gave a small nod. “It’s been an honor to be here for this interview” she concluded, rising gracefully to her feet. Extending her hand for a firm shake, she smiled warmly. “I truly hope to be part of this team, but even if I’m not, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. Thank you for taking the time to meet with me.” With that, she picked up her bag, her smile widening as she glanced back. “Till we meet again” she said, her voice filled with optimism. As she walked out, the steady click of her heels echoed through the room, a quiet witness to her confidence and resolve.

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:

While I may not be perfect like anyone, I have my strengths and weaknesses. I can promise that I will give my best effort in this role. I’m committed to be an effective and compassionate school nurse. Providing the best care and support for students and faculty. I understand the importance of creating a safe and welcoming environment and aim to build strong relationships with everyone in the school community. Beyond my duties, I strive to be approachable and supportive, contributing not just through medical care but also by being a dependable friend. I’m eager to grow in this position, and I believe my dedication and willingness to learn will allow me to succeed while making a positive impact.
