Yes, it is me! I have a thing to say to the forums - obviously, or else I would not be here. Buuuuuuuut I was wondering, for you guys who are in gods know how many fandoms/fanbases! What character(s) from an already existing media have influenced/inspired the creation of your character(s)?
For me, my main character (V. 'Karl' Aiuchi-Stark) has been inspired by a mix of Joshua Graham (for the lore, at least) from the Honest Hearts DLC of Fallout New Vegas, alongside Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony. As well as Johnny Cage from Mortal Kombat, actually - hence why he goes by the alias of 'Cage' in Fight Club. Another character of mine, the ex-psychiatrist named Mechislav MacAlasdair, is sort of inspired by Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption! I have plenty more characters, but these are just the examples for now. Feel free to add as many as you wish to the list!!!​

Amano Kagami However I would have explained it so much by now, Is based on the Band Tuyu. Many of their songs represent a event that happened to her ICly or lorewise. Plus her natural singing voice is like the band's Vocalist.

For the most part, Capri is an original character. I formatted her personality, her behavioral patterns, illnesses, and all on my own - with the addition of new issues playing in as I played her more. However, her name didn't come to me alone. Her first name, yes - that was something that came naturally. Her last name, however, was derived from someone and was a beginning stage, if you will, of her. Her name comes from Dr. Bryce Lahela, a surgeon in the trilogy called Open Heart. If you're not familiar with this, the trilogy is from a game called Choices... yes, I'm a Choices fanatic and I'll die on that hill.

ALEXANDER INOUE-SHMUCK - Dog poetry which brough about a lot of the dog motifs and dog metaphors I use when roleplaying him out. Otherwise, he wasn't really inspired by any media since he's more based off my life and the kinds of people I grew up with.

JAKUB VON MOLTKE - He was inspired by Hannibal Lecter from ABC's Hannibal (Which is also the reason I joined the psych department) and he was also inspired by someone else's SRP character that I will not name! ^_^;

SAINT SALVADOR - Personality wise, The Dark Urge from 'Baldur's Gate 3' and both Benjamin and Nick from 'Hell Followed With Us' by Andrew Joseph White, both of which is where I get a lot of my inspiration from when roleplaying this character out. Backstory wise, he was inspired by Jason Todd's backstory in 'Death in the Family' Batman Comics.

Sidenote: Read 'Hell Followed With Us' its one of my favorite books atm

SIRIUS HOWELL - He is very much inspired by Bruce Wayne and the clumsy, ditzy, too stupid to ever be Batman 'Brucie Wayne' alterego.

I currently only have two characters based of external sources and they are absolutely some of my favourite ones.

First one being:
Crowley O'Sullvian: He is based off of Crowley from Good Omens as he is very snake like. They share the iconic yellow snake eyes and snake tongue, however he currently sits as my judge for Town Hall

Second one:

Caspian ???: While I do not have a lastname for him just yet, he is based off of the character Alucard Tepes from Castlevania. While they act similar, their backstories are complently different and they just look similar.

NAOMI INOUE... Initially, he wasn't inspired by anyone other than myself and my own experiences, specifically with anxiety. He slowly became someone I found myself developing more and more as time went on. Wholly, he is his own character, influenced by his actions, his trauma, and those around him. After all, there is no Naomi Inoue without people. However, there is a primary inspiration for a specific arc of his; the arc that resulted in his old psychiatrist gaining a broken nose, and missing eye. This inspiration was Will Graham from Hannibal.

MEWO HEDDO is inspired by the general idea of a regal figure.

BEAU LYNCH has inspirations from a variety of media: Jax from The Amazing Digital Circus, Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy & Suguru Geto from Jujutsu Kaisen (without the.. very bad stuff)..

KIYOKO KITAGAWA's main inspiration is Asuna from Sword Art Online!

okay so my football character. Keisou Lowe... he's not inspired by anyone, but his name IS inspired by Caseoh... I think we can see his name is a dupe. He also LOVES football, which his fav celebrity crush is Kit Connor... who so happens to play a character in Heartstopper which plays rugby. (sorta not sort of the same thing, but the gist is field sports are his fav thing.)
