Since starting my SRP experiences back in February of 2021, I have had the privilege of being part of so many different types of RP scenarios! When I began to play, I was primarily interested in GangRP and playing as a delinquent, though jumping to current day, I spend the majority of my time logged in engaging with the Sports faction and just enjoying StudentRP with my friends. Between the periods, I fell in love with anything lore-related, bringing my RP to a whole new level. Recently, I have invested a substantial portion of my time online into SportsRP, specifically with the College and Highschool Swim Teams, as I’m the current College Captain!
I am a commission-based artist outside of the server itself but still within the community! I love to spend time drawing for others, helping them bring their SRP characters to life fully, and broadening my skills in art whilst doing so.
As for a more ‘how often do you play and when do you play’ side of this question, I spend anywhere from 2 hours daily to 9 hours when I don't have other responsibilities to tend to! I work a full-time job in a management position, so my availability can be limited at times, but I am always a simple DM away!

♡ What is your motivation for applying?: ♡
OOCly: My primary source of motivation comes directly from my OOC wanting to be a part of a Police Force on an inside level, which would be my dream of becoming a Forensic Scientist! Since I was young, I spent a lot of years watching my father struggle and deal with the not-so-great officers in my city, which led me to wanting to become one to help people feel more comfortable and less weary of police as a whole. One good experience is sometimes all it takes to turn someone's viewpoints on a subject around to a good one! However, I am much more interested in the scientific aspects of the force than I am with the general responsibilities of a standard job in a Police Department.
This, tied in with all of the positive experiences of some of my friends who are either currently in the KPD or have been prior members of the faction, have become the most key parts of my motivation to join. Alongside this, I have always been interested in being part of one of the big factions; which, although I am currently involved with the Sports Faction (and love it fully), that interest is still intense towards the more community active factions, KPD being one I have had my heart and eyes set on since the moment I joined SRP.
ICly: Turning towards the more IC part of why I would love to be involved in this faction, the biggest motivator comes from my want to be more active within the server's community in general! Although, I have been extremely active in other portions of the server (ie, GangRP, being the Spartan Swim Captain, and investing loads of time into the StudentRP experiences, even going as far as gaining an Adult Character slot through the graduation system) I feel there is still so many experiences and learning opportunities I otherwise would not get the chance to see without taking this step! I would love nothing more than to be more engaged and involved in what I view as such a strong aspect of SRP in general. Not only that, but being pushed out of my comfort zone and meeting new people to RP with ICly is something I always strive to do; KPD would allow me to interact with and meet so many new people.
♡ What knowledge do you have of Police Work? ♡
In general, I feel I have a good grasp on what is involved with any type of Police work, whether that be in the game or based in an actual station. Above all, an officer's main duty is to not only serve and protect their community but also provide comfort and reassurance for members of that society! From my understanding, all officers are put under pretty intensive training to be able to handle and withstand the stressful nature of their job! They have the knowledge needed to ensure peace and calm tense situations.
Although I am interested in this specific field OOCly, most of my research, if not all of it, has gone into the forensic side of police work. Despite this, I have learned the basics of the main portion! This includes Rankings for the general officers, an officer's code of conduct, radio codes that are used in general communication, and what it takes to be trained for these jobs! I have been in many situations whilst working in an IRL hospital where I have had the opportunity to be around the officers of my city, giving me the chance to ask my nerdy questions and learn stuff as I worked!
Turning to the ICly aspect, I have spent countless hours in the past learning what I could about the ins and outs of the KPD! I mainly did this through the PhD project I did ICly on the KPD, which allowed me to have quite a few intensive interviews with many of the prior officers regarding how everything was run, the ranks and hierarchy, and some of their responsibilities. Alongside this, I have used a portion of my free time in the past, reading over the equipment the KPD officers carry in case I had a run-in with them ICly; I did not want to be confused about what they were doing and why! I'd consider that, having a general grasp over what they use/how they use it/why they use it!

Cadet | Entry-Level Officer in Training. Shadows superiors to get a better understanding of what's required in their line of work. |
Patrol Officer | An Officer who responds to emergency or non-emergency calls. Patrols regularly and follows routes to keep a safe environment on the streets. |

Radio | Communication devices used by both KPD and EMS. Similar to a cell phone, but more accessible to the Officers and other Emergency Units whilst on or off duty. |
Tranquilizer | A dart-like device made out of plastic to tranquilize hostile threats. Only accessible to Police Sergeants and Detective Inspectors. |
Baton | Accessible and used by all KPD Officers to apprehend criminals or hostile individuals. Made of steel, or often a thick plastic to not cause severe injuries. |
Stun Blaster | A stunning device used to temporarily disable a hostile individual. Accessible to all KPD Officers. |
Handcuffs | Accessible and used by all KPD Officers to take an individual into custody. A restraining device, often made of steel or other similar metals. |
Riot Shield | Accessible and can be used by all KPD Officers. A protection device made of tempered glass. |
Luminol Spray (ItemRP) | Accessible and can be used by all KPD Officers. A spray that is used to detect blood on various surfaces such as weapons. It can still detect blood after the item is cleaned with soap and water, but it loses this ability if the item is cleaned with peroxide or bleach. |
Body Camera (ItemRP) | A recording device, used to capture video and audio. Accessible and used by all KPD Officers to ensure safety and correct behavior/use of other equipment. Recordings can be used as proof in court. |

♡ Why is Police important to SchoolRP? ♡
As someone who has been around to experience both the highs and lows of SRP as a whole, one thing I can say with pure certainty is that the Police Faction is one of the most important sides of SRP. I have seen the chaos that ensues firsthand when the KPD is not around, whether that was through GangRP or just civil issues! I strongly believe that without the activity that comes from this faction, Karakura as a city would fail to thrive in peace.
The players who take the time to be involved in a faction such as KPD are part of the reason that the server and ICly city have the balance it requires to function smoothly. I'm sure the majority of the playerbase would agree with me here; without Offcers present and available with just a simple phone call, GangRp, CrimeRP, and deliquents would control the environment of the server, as many would not be as fearful of the high-risk occupation if the risk of being caught was eliminated. This becomes an issue when the portion of the playerbase that does not partake in that side of the server feels the backlash of the lack of law enforcement, creating a hostile and overall unpleasant environment and experience! The officers in KPD bring a sense of balance amidst the heavy amounts of Gang and Crime activity within the city. Turning focus away from just the Crime portion of the server, KPD is helpful in others ways as well! One main thing in this circumstance, is their quick-thinking responses to monumental disasters, such as natural disasters, riots, and civil uprisings. . . Many of the players are not used to dealing with those situations first-hand, whether that be ICly or OOCly! So, the officers provide that comfort and assistance wherever it is deemed necessary. And for that, I feel the balance between what players deem as ‘good and evil’ makes KPD one of the most important aspects of SRP.

‘My full name? That has changed a few times over the years. . Currently, my name is Lyric Omori-Sidorova, though I am also happily married and choose to not carry my spouse’s surname.’
♡ How old is your character (if accepted)?: ♡
‘It’s rude to ask a lady her age! But considering the circumstances, I’ll let it slide. I am 28 years old, though I fear I inch closer to the big 30 with every day that passes.’
♡ What are your character's gender and pronouns?: ♡
‘I was born a female and have remained a female through all these years. With that in mind, I am most comfortable going by the standard pronouns of she/her. In certain situations, they/them is reasonable as well for respect reasons.’

‘I proudly have my Doctorate in Criminal Justice; I graduated with that PhD a few years ago from our beloved College here in Karakura. I took a few gap years before I chose to apply to spend time with my family. You see, I have two young children who were newborns at the time of my graduation.’

♡ What languages does your character know besides Japanese?: ♡
‘I am completely fluent in German, Russian, and also JSL. I strongly believe knowing multiple languages allows easier communication and opens more opportunities.’
♡ Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique? ♡
Lyric is a rather tall young woman, standing at an impressive 6’3 (192.8cm), while having a healthy build of muscle and curvature! She was born with a rare genetic mutation known commonly as Albinism, making her eyes appear a red hue under lights and draining not only her skin tone but her hair entirely of all pigmentation; she resembles the purest of snow. Though her natural eye colour is a striking red, an unfortunate event required her to get a prosthetic for her left eye, and she now chooses to wear a fake heterochromatic black iris. Lyric's skin is covered in an abundance of two things: Scars and Tattoos, all of which signify the ups and downs she has overcome in her lifetime. Her most notable tattoo is that of Pure Black Roses, which cover her entire right arm and leg, spiraling up onto her hip as well, and if you were to ask her about those, only a few words could describe them: The beauty in uncommon natural phenomena.

♡ How does your character act in a professional/casual situation? ♡
Lyric is most often known for her spontaneous and silly behaviors and how fast her demeanor can change when she is faced with a situation where there is very little room to be unserious and silly.
♡ Professional: ♡
When faced with any type of professional or ‘serious’ environment, Lyric’s demeanour can flip within mere moments. Having been raised in rather strict conditions, her respect for people of a greater age or status has only improved over the years. This allowed her to fully mature into someone who could be put into stressful or even calm professional situations whilst maintaining her focus and sense of responsibility. Lyric takes great care in paying attention to the smaller details and making sure her task gets done with the highest level of proficiency.
Example Situation: Whilst doing research for her PhD project, Lyric wanted to include personal Interviews with the Officers of KPD themselves. During these interactions, she remained completely attentive to all details and kept the environment respectful while also devoting herself fully to what she was passionate about. This was repeated numerous times, and when difficulties or conflicting opinions on her topic arose, she remained level-headed and faced them with calm reactions.
♡ Casual: ♡
Before meeting her husband, Kazumi, Lyric had been seen as unapproachable and ‘too serious’ to be around in many situations, but over the years and with her partner's help, she learned to relax and enjoy the time she has with her loved ones. Although she is not one to look for social situations, she is commonly told how carefree and energetic she can be with the right environment and situation. This was only accentuated with the birth of her children, further allowing Lyric to push out of the mindset of ‘All work, no play’ and unwind to have fun with her family and friends. Many who know Lyric on a more personal level have felt she has the warmth and caring nature of a mother figure, describing her as understanding and lovely to be around! Especially when she’s feeling eccentric and outgoing, which is how she is a majority of the time now!
♡ What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork? ♡
‘Ah. . . Teamwork. There is very little that takes priority when you are working with others. Without teamwork, the entire- for this, let’s say project- could fall apart. Where teamwork is unapparent, chaos is inevitable! Throughout my younger years, I was put into situations and experiences where working as a team was almost mandatory, or someone could be seriously wounded or, worse. . . Being able to work in a team-based environment was something I originally struggled with to an intense level, but I have been able to learn and build from those experiences. Though I am more of a team-leader than a follower! Building that trust with your co-workers, teammates, or even peers could be the reason you succeed or fail; It’s of the utmost importance. Imagine you are sailing, and no one in your crew could get along! How long do you think the journey would last before complete disarray began and your ship either turned around or sunk? Personally, I would rather be in a position where we sail smoothly than one where constant bickering is present and nothing gets done towards the main goal.’
♡ What's your character's backstory? ♡
A curse born from the tournament of the family can be a force to be reckoned with. When you take away everything from someone, then they have nothing to lose. No reason to hold back. The strongest of criminals and officers fall into this category. And Lyric is no exception.
Born as the White Curse of the Hunter Family, she succumbed to years of neglect and abuse from her mother and siblings. Born in a city in Norway, she lived in a household where abuse was a common factor. Siblings turned against her as she grew older, leaving her alone in an area in which only darkness surrounded her. Her mother was an abusive woman, a woman who sought joy in the pain and suffering of others. And she saw Lyric, a young albino girl, as the perfect target to label as a curse, a mistake, a failure of a daughter and sibling to the Hunter Family. Lyric was forced to be physically beaten by her mother and father, alongside mental abuse from her mother. She would degrade Lyric, calling her nothing more than a curse and a useless failure to the family name due to her skin condition. The young girl, once filled with joy and a childlike wonder in her eyes, faded into someone with a hard shell around them. A shell of that bottled-up anger and rage that only satan himself could have loved. What made it worse was that her 4 other siblings left her alone with her mother, running off to a small island off the coast of Japan. Her loneliness, a void that her siblings left behind, guided her down a path where she sealed redemption. A path on which she wanted to find others like her who could fill the void her siblings left behind. And she did. She found others who were abused, but the difference was they used their anger and negativity to hurt others, to become the very thing that made them who they were to begin with. Lyric joined in with their ways, mostly because all she wanted to do was fit in. She wanted to fill that emptiness, she wanted to find those to whom she could finally relate, people who could protect her like her siblings once did. She wanted people who would finally see her as a person, a protector, and not a curse or a failure. So she did anything to fit in. She took her rage and hurt others in return. Her rage turned her into the very thing she hated, an abuser. She attacked the kids at her school who dared bully her or others who were in the same situation. She was the anti-hero to the abused, a White Blessing to those whom she protected. But a curse to those whom she attacked. One of her victims was her very own mother. At the age of 12, Lyric finally snapped and attacked her mother in the kitchen on a glistening afternoon. An afternoon that would burn and edge into Lyric’s memory, guiding her down the very path that led her to meeting the person who built her to wanting to become an officer.
After the attempted murder of her mother, Lyric ran away on a train across Norway to the other side. A side which she attended to also free herself from. She knew the cops would one day search for her, even if her mom didn’t want them to. She was just a girl, a young child who had no idea where to turn to after committing such a horrid crime. During this journey, a young Russian child ran into Lyric whilst she was stealing from a grocery store. Her body collided with his as she attempted to run away from the clerk, just trying to feed herself with whatever she could find. The young man, whose name was unknown, helped Lyric up and asked if she was ok. She nodded nervously, as all she wanted to do was get out of there, but the young boy had different plans. He saw how beat up she looked, how poor and lonely the white curse was, so he took her in. It had turned out this young boy belonged to a wealthy Russian family, a family that moved to the very city that her siblings had run off to so many years ago. Upon finding this out, Lyric’s glistening red eyes finally lit up after so many years of being dimmed by the darkness that was abuse and neglect. The young boy said he would take her there, under the condition that she would stay close to him. Lyric was only 13 at the time, She wanted nothing more than to reunite with the only people who she ever truly knew in her life, so she agreed. A mistake that would shape her to become who she truly was.
Upon arriving in Karakura, the island of Ignorance and lack of Morals, she immediately began to search for her siblings. Luckily, due to the island's small population and size, she found them pretty easily. They looked so much different, with scars spread across their body, markings of misfortune and loss. Part of her was so happy to be reunited with her brothers and sisters, but the other part saw how they had turned out. Something in her heart held her back like a ball and chain tied to her very flesh. But she went along with them, going with their ways. The way of Karakura criminals. She learned how to steal, how to fight, how to kill. The Hunter Family became a family of crime, a family that made their mark on the criminal underworld way back during the golden age of crime. An age where a golden dragon and a black and red devil ruled over the criminal underworld with an iron fist.
At this point, Lyric had seen it all. Death, torment, the blood of her enemies and her friends. Her mind was tainted by the corruption and darkness that the criminal underworld brought. As time went on and the family grew up, they began to split apart as did most families who were forced to endure the crime life in this city. She pursued her education, focusing mostly on becoming a better person. She didn’t want to be known as a White Curse, she wanted to be something better, someone better. But she couldn’t do this up until someone entered her life when she was a young adult in college. A bright light, shining warmth onto her broken and tainted soul, entered her life. Amaya Omori, an officer whose smile shined like gold underneath a lamp, welcomed Lyric into her life. Amaya became her adoptive mom, the mom that Lyric never truly had. Amaya was more than a parent her birth mom ever was, and Lyric loved that.
Amaya taught Lyric how to love again properly, she taught her that even in the darkest of hours, when nothing but a blinding fog surrounded your mind, there can still be hope. “Fog and storms will always pass, my dear Lyric. And when they do, you will be greeted by the shining light and glorious nature that lies on the other side. Just hold on a little more, ok for me, kiddo? I know you can do it.” Amaya would always say to Lyric. And Lyric, with tears in her eyes and hope in her heart, would always listen and believe. Amaya officially adopted Lyric a few months before the incident. Lyric, the White Curse of the Hunter Family, was welcomed into the Family of Honor and Protection that was the Omori Legacy. A Legacy that Amaya, her aunt, her mom, her cousin, and more had built.
It wasn't until one day that everything would change. The very thing that Amaya would fight against, the very thing that Amaya wanted to get rid of had corrupted her mind. Driven by the urge to succeed and take down an organization that took almost everything from her, she became the very thing her family worked against. When Lyric heard the news that Amaya had fallen, her legacy becoming tainted with corruption and darkness with her, her heart broke. She spent months watching the Omori name be dragged through the mud as people talked about the horrible acts Amaya did against the citizens of Karakura, and Lyric couldn’t stand for such things. She couldn’t sit there and listen to people talk about the only mom she ever truly had in such bad ways. She knew she had to recover the Omori name and prove to the world that what Amaya said was true. That light and warmth could be anywhere, even in the darkest and coldest of places. A legacy tarnished by corruption was going to be Lyric’s drive to join the police force. A once criminal, a Curse among others, was soon going to become the person who saved a legacy tarnished by darkness. Lyric Hunter was going to become the Savor and Blessing of the Omori Legacy.

‘I proudly have my Doctorate in Criminal Justice; I graduated with that PhD a few years ago from our beloved College here in Karakura. I took a few gap years before I chose to apply to spend time with my family. You see, I have two young children who were newborns at the time of my graduation.’

‘I am completely fluent in German, Russian, and also JSL. I strongly believe knowing multiple languages allows easier communication and opens more opportunities.’
♡ Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique? ♡
Lyric is a rather tall young woman, standing at an impressive 6’3 (192.8cm), while having a healthy build of muscle and curvature! She was born with a rare genetic mutation known commonly as Albinism, making her eyes appear a red hue under lights and draining not only her skin tone but her hair entirely of all pigmentation; she resembles the purest of snow. Though her natural eye colour is a striking red, an unfortunate event required her to get a prosthetic for her left eye, and she now chooses to wear a fake heterochromatic black iris. Lyric's skin is covered in an abundance of two things: Scars and Tattoos, all of which signify the ups and downs she has overcome in her lifetime. Her most notable tattoo is that of Pure Black Roses, which cover her entire right arm and leg, spiraling up onto her hip as well, and if you were to ask her about those, only a few words could describe them: The beauty in uncommon natural phenomena.

♡ How does your character act in a professional/casual situation? ♡
Lyric is most often known for her spontaneous and silly behaviors and how fast her demeanor can change when she is faced with a situation where there is very little room to be unserious and silly.
♡ Professional: ♡
When faced with any type of professional or ‘serious’ environment, Lyric’s demeanour can flip within mere moments. Having been raised in rather strict conditions, her respect for people of a greater age or status has only improved over the years. This allowed her to fully mature into someone who could be put into stressful or even calm professional situations whilst maintaining her focus and sense of responsibility. Lyric takes great care in paying attention to the smaller details and making sure her task gets done with the highest level of proficiency.
Example Situation: Whilst doing research for her PhD project, Lyric wanted to include personal Interviews with the Officers of KPD themselves. During these interactions, she remained completely attentive to all details and kept the environment respectful while also devoting herself fully to what she was passionate about. This was repeated numerous times, and when difficulties or conflicting opinions on her topic arose, she remained level-headed and faced them with calm reactions.

Before meeting her husband, Kazumi, Lyric had been seen as unapproachable and ‘too serious’ to be around in many situations, but over the years and with her partner's help, she learned to relax and enjoy the time she has with her loved ones. Although she is not one to look for social situations, she is commonly told how carefree and energetic she can be with the right environment and situation. This was only accentuated with the birth of her children, further allowing Lyric to push out of the mindset of ‘All work, no play’ and unwind to have fun with her family and friends. Many who know Lyric on a more personal level have felt she has the warmth and caring nature of a mother figure, describing her as understanding and lovely to be around! Especially when she’s feeling eccentric and outgoing, which is how she is a majority of the time now!
♡ What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork? ♡
‘Ah. . . Teamwork. There is very little that takes priority when you are working with others. Without teamwork, the entire- for this, let’s say project- could fall apart. Where teamwork is unapparent, chaos is inevitable! Throughout my younger years, I was put into situations and experiences where working as a team was almost mandatory, or someone could be seriously wounded or, worse. . . Being able to work in a team-based environment was something I originally struggled with to an intense level, but I have been able to learn and build from those experiences. Though I am more of a team-leader than a follower! Building that trust with your co-workers, teammates, or even peers could be the reason you succeed or fail; It’s of the utmost importance. Imagine you are sailing, and no one in your crew could get along! How long do you think the journey would last before complete disarray began and your ship either turned around or sunk? Personally, I would rather be in a position where we sail smoothly than one where constant bickering is present and nothing gets done towards the main goal.’
♡ What's your character's backstory? ♡
A curse born from the tournament of the family can be a force to be reckoned with. When you take away everything from someone, then they have nothing to lose. No reason to hold back. The strongest of criminals and officers fall into this category. And Lyric is no exception.
Born as the White Curse of the Hunter Family, she succumbed to years of neglect and abuse from her mother and siblings. Born in a city in Norway, she lived in a household where abuse was a common factor. Siblings turned against her as she grew older, leaving her alone in an area in which only darkness surrounded her. Her mother was an abusive woman, a woman who sought joy in the pain and suffering of others. And she saw Lyric, a young albino girl, as the perfect target to label as a curse, a mistake, a failure of a daughter and sibling to the Hunter Family. Lyric was forced to be physically beaten by her mother and father, alongside mental abuse from her mother. She would degrade Lyric, calling her nothing more than a curse and a useless failure to the family name due to her skin condition. The young girl, once filled with joy and a childlike wonder in her eyes, faded into someone with a hard shell around them. A shell of that bottled-up anger and rage that only satan himself could have loved. What made it worse was that her 4 other siblings left her alone with her mother, running off to a small island off the coast of Japan. Her loneliness, a void that her siblings left behind, guided her down a path where she sealed redemption. A path on which she wanted to find others like her who could fill the void her siblings left behind. And she did. She found others who were abused, but the difference was they used their anger and negativity to hurt others, to become the very thing that made them who they were to begin with. Lyric joined in with their ways, mostly because all she wanted to do was fit in. She wanted to fill that emptiness, she wanted to find those to whom she could finally relate, people who could protect her like her siblings once did. She wanted people who would finally see her as a person, a protector, and not a curse or a failure. So she did anything to fit in. She took her rage and hurt others in return. Her rage turned her into the very thing she hated, an abuser. She attacked the kids at her school who dared bully her or others who were in the same situation. She was the anti-hero to the abused, a White Blessing to those whom she protected. But a curse to those whom she attacked. One of her victims was her very own mother. At the age of 12, Lyric finally snapped and attacked her mother in the kitchen on a glistening afternoon. An afternoon that would burn and edge into Lyric’s memory, guiding her down the very path that led her to meeting the person who built her to wanting to become an officer.
After the attempted murder of her mother, Lyric ran away on a train across Norway to the other side. A side which she attended to also free herself from. She knew the cops would one day search for her, even if her mom didn’t want them to. She was just a girl, a young child who had no idea where to turn to after committing such a horrid crime. During this journey, a young Russian child ran into Lyric whilst she was stealing from a grocery store. Her body collided with his as she attempted to run away from the clerk, just trying to feed herself with whatever she could find. The young man, whose name was unknown, helped Lyric up and asked if she was ok. She nodded nervously, as all she wanted to do was get out of there, but the young boy had different plans. He saw how beat up she looked, how poor and lonely the white curse was, so he took her in. It had turned out this young boy belonged to a wealthy Russian family, a family that moved to the very city that her siblings had run off to so many years ago. Upon finding this out, Lyric’s glistening red eyes finally lit up after so many years of being dimmed by the darkness that was abuse and neglect. The young boy said he would take her there, under the condition that she would stay close to him. Lyric was only 13 at the time, She wanted nothing more than to reunite with the only people who she ever truly knew in her life, so she agreed. A mistake that would shape her to become who she truly was.
Upon arriving in Karakura, the island of Ignorance and lack of Morals, she immediately began to search for her siblings. Luckily, due to the island's small population and size, she found them pretty easily. They looked so much different, with scars spread across their body, markings of misfortune and loss. Part of her was so happy to be reunited with her brothers and sisters, but the other part saw how they had turned out. Something in her heart held her back like a ball and chain tied to her very flesh. But she went along with them, going with their ways. The way of Karakura criminals. She learned how to steal, how to fight, how to kill. The Hunter Family became a family of crime, a family that made their mark on the criminal underworld way back during the golden age of crime. An age where a golden dragon and a black and red devil ruled over the criminal underworld with an iron fist.
At this point, Lyric had seen it all. Death, torment, the blood of her enemies and her friends. Her mind was tainted by the corruption and darkness that the criminal underworld brought. As time went on and the family grew up, they began to split apart as did most families who were forced to endure the crime life in this city. She pursued her education, focusing mostly on becoming a better person. She didn’t want to be known as a White Curse, she wanted to be something better, someone better. But she couldn’t do this up until someone entered her life when she was a young adult in college. A bright light, shining warmth onto her broken and tainted soul, entered her life. Amaya Omori, an officer whose smile shined like gold underneath a lamp, welcomed Lyric into her life. Amaya became her adoptive mom, the mom that Lyric never truly had. Amaya was more than a parent her birth mom ever was, and Lyric loved that.
Amaya taught Lyric how to love again properly, she taught her that even in the darkest of hours, when nothing but a blinding fog surrounded your mind, there can still be hope. “Fog and storms will always pass, my dear Lyric. And when they do, you will be greeted by the shining light and glorious nature that lies on the other side. Just hold on a little more, ok for me, kiddo? I know you can do it.” Amaya would always say to Lyric. And Lyric, with tears in her eyes and hope in her heart, would always listen and believe. Amaya officially adopted Lyric a few months before the incident. Lyric, the White Curse of the Hunter Family, was welcomed into the Family of Honor and Protection that was the Omori Legacy. A Legacy that Amaya, her aunt, her mom, her cousin, and more had built.
It wasn't until one day that everything would change. The very thing that Amaya would fight against, the very thing that Amaya wanted to get rid of had corrupted her mind. Driven by the urge to succeed and take down an organization that took almost everything from her, she became the very thing her family worked against. When Lyric heard the news that Amaya had fallen, her legacy becoming tainted with corruption and darkness with her, her heart broke. She spent months watching the Omori name be dragged through the mud as people talked about the horrible acts Amaya did against the citizens of Karakura, and Lyric couldn’t stand for such things. She couldn’t sit there and listen to people talk about the only mom she ever truly had in such bad ways. She knew she had to recover the Omori name and prove to the world that what Amaya said was true. That light and warmth could be anywhere, even in the darkest and coldest of places. A legacy tarnished by corruption was going to be Lyric’s drive to join the police force. A once criminal, a Curse among others, was soon going to become the person who saved a legacy tarnished by darkness. Lyric Hunter was going to become the Savor and Blessing of the Omori Legacy.

♡ If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do? ♡
‘Oh, that’s a tricky situation- I don’t want my peer upset that I came in between what was happening, but the safety of those under our watch takes importance. Acting as quickly as I could, at first, I would try to get the Officer separated from the inmate who was being improperly handled. If that fails, though, calling for backup would be my next step; At least two more officers would be requested. With the help of the extra hands, I’d ask for one to check on the inmate whilst requesting the other to assist in keeping the attacker away from the inmate. The victim of the assault should immediately be checked for any serious injuries or wounds, and if needed, EMS should be requested as well. Simply because the behavior of the Officer who began the assault is not tolerated, a higherup would be informed of this incident and if necessary, I would awrite up a report against the co-worker, including every detail to ensure proper actions are taken following the incident.’
♡ What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted? ♡
‘To be completely honest, this question seems open-ended, as my reaction could change dramatically depending on circumstances. For this, I’ll answer in regards to different situations.’
‘Say the arrest or detainment has already happened, and a coworker is assisting me with an inmate in a cell. Most times, this goes smoothly, but from experience, some try to attack and even hurt the officer doing their search. In this case, if I have the ability to intervene, I would, and that would involve taking whatever actions are necessary to help my coworker, whether that be using my pepper spray or even the taser on the inmate. Though, if by chance the inmate gets the upper hand on my coworker and uses them as a sort of- hm, meat shield? Backup would be needed to both maintain the safety of the other officer and safely stop the attacker.’
‘Apologies, I had to think of a scenario that could be in a less controlled environment. Ah, Right. Let’s imagine going on a patrol or responding to a 110 call, where it is just a coworker and me, with multiple attackers involved. If, when we arrive, my coworker somehow becomes a hostage of the other party, a radio for backup- Including where we are, if the other party is armed, and how many are involved- would be made back to the station in an attempt to request backup. If after, and I feel it is safe to do so, I would do all in my power to assist the officer in harm's way; This could be done by shouting and causing the other party to scatter, or even try to take one assailant down. Personally, I feel even one being stuck is better than having my peer put into more danger. Using my taser would be the most efficient way, I feel, to get the assailant down, or if there are multiple assailants, aiming at the one I feel is more dangerous. By this, I mean if one was in possession of a bat, whilst the other wielded a Katana, the assailant with the Katana would be a priority to handle to ensure even a remotely safer position for my colleague.’
♡ What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations? ♡
‘Under no circumstances would I confront the fellow officer head-on, I would not want to put my life on the line as well. . Instead, I would take a quieter approach to this by reporting my suspicions to one of my higher-ups! Alongside the report, I would provide whatever information or evidence I have against the co-worker. Throwing out an accusation like this should be backed with a decent amount of evidence. The higher-up has the authority to handle this situation better than I could, and safely.’
♡ How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you? ♡
‘Bribery. . . I remember trying this with my teachers to fix my grades. . . Well, to start, I would immediately inform the other party of how his/her actions are against the law and can get them into more legal trouble than they are in, if any. If said party proceeds to try to bribe me after this has been stated and [they are] warned of, I would just continue with the standard arrest procedure, adding the bribery attempt onto whatever they had done to begin with.’
