Describe your activity on the server:
I am online regularly in the afternoon stretching into the morning hours, the latest being 12am on weekdays and perhaps even longer on the weekends.
My activity is bound to remain consistent due to the roles I play already, and even with other commitments, I always make sure to set aside time for the server. My schedule is manageable since I am an unemployed student. . there isn't a lot of things that occupy my time. In fact, if there's anything that does, it is more than likely SRP.
What is your motivation for applying?:
My motivation mainly sprouts from friends encouraging the idea to apply. They speak very highly about their history with KPD and the community that revolves around it. Their stories about growth, teamwork, and the bonds they've formed through their experiences are incredibly inspiring. Amongst the skills I've learned throughout roleplay, and the things I still wish to learn and experience, this is what motivates me to seek this opportunity. I am eager to develop further as both a player and a person, pushing myself to engage in immersive interactions. I aim to be apart of an environment that values collaboration, growth, and meaningful encounters alike.

What knowledge do you have of Police Work?:
Police work is a dynamic field, requiring officers to handle a wide range of responsibilities. From keeping the peace and responding to emergencies to making sure laws are followed, every day brings something different. Officers are constantly engaged in crime prevention, whether it's through patrolling neighborhoods or building relationships within the community. I am not 100% knowledgeable on police work.. but it can't be too different from real-world law enforcement practices.

- Arrests | When an individual is identified in a report, KPD will actively search for them in order to investigate the alleged offense. Once the individual is located, they may be detained for questioning and further investigation. If the evidence supports the suspicion of a crime, they could be arrested and face charges. |
- Raids | KPD may conduct raids on properties to search for illegal weapons or apprehend individuals who are attempting to evade capture. These scenarios typically involve careful planning and coordination to ensure the safety of the officers and the public. |
- Patrolling | KPD regularly patrols in a set route to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity or criminal behavior. Officers must remain alert for any potential threats during their survey around town. |

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?:
KPD is important because they ensure safety, enforce rules, and add realism to the experience of SchoolRP. Karakura already faces various gang-related issues, and without anyone to address the conflicts, how would the town develop with nothing to protect and stabilize it? The police provide the necessary structure and authority to keep things in order. There'd be no one to handle disruptions, or to show an example as an authority figure.
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?:
Yes, I understand these conditions.

Standing at a striking 6'1 with his (totally effortlessly cool appearance), was none other than Enmu Futaba himself. Do not be fooled by his appearance.
How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
"I like to think I'm pretty adaptable. If I'm on the job, I keep it sharp. I’ve personally seen from my old man that this work isn’t just about facts.. it’s about people. You can’t solve any conflicts if you don’t know how to read a room, how to talk to someone the right way, how to get them to trust you. That’s where I shine. I’m good with people. I know how to get ‘em talking, how to pick up on things others might miss just from a conversation. I take the job seriously because people are counting on me. Being an officer means keeping cool under pressure. Whether it’s calming down a tense situation or getting information without making things worse, I’m good at that. In casual settings, I am prone to just. . hanging out. I don't have a lot of hobbies, you know? Though, I like playing solitaire. Or.. any card game."
What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
"Umm.. well! Nobody gets through this job alone. You can be the toughest, fastest, most skilled officer out there, but if you don’t have your team backing you up, you’re screwed. Simple as that. To be honest with you, I thrive in these kinds of environments. I enjoy the camaraderie that comes with working alongside others. These people aren't just your colleagues, they're bound to be like second family. Long shifts.. shared struggles.. the moments of levity, only they can understand."
What's your character's backstory?
TLDR. . ? LOL
After his mother’s disappearance and with his father's workload, Futaba found himself drifting through the city, trying to find meaning within the chaos. But despite the freedom of his aimless explorations, he craved something more. Something to anchor him. Uncovering secrets, and helping people find the answers they desperately seek gives him that sense of responsibility, perhaps because neither him nor his father were capable of doing that for his mother. Futaba is known around town for his wandering, and locals could tell you all about the trouble he gets himself into just by inserting himself within business that doesn't relate to him. Just like his father. .

What's your character's backstory?
A small yet cozy apartment where the scent of fresh miso soup greeted him every morning, where his mother hummed soft melodies as she folded laundry, and where his father’s worn-out coat always hung by the door, smelling faintly of ash and rain. His father, a detective with the Osaka Police Department, was always out chasing leads, lost in stacks of case files and late-night stakeouts. But despite his busy schedule, he made sure to remind Futaba of one thing: “A detective never misses a clue.” It was a phrase meant for work, but Futaba had taken it to heart in his own way, using sharp eyes to explore world, picking up on the smallest details others overlooked.
One evening, his mother tucked him in as always. By morning, she was no where to be found. She had disappeared without a trace.
No forced entry. No ransom notes. No signs of struggle. Just an absence that turned their home cold. His father buried himself in the investigation, working to uncover the truth, but Futaba knew—he could see it in the dark circles under his dad’s eyes, in the growing stack of cigarette butts in the ashtray, that even the best detectives didn’t always find the answers they were looking for.
With his father consumed by his work and their home no longer feeling like one, he took to the streets, wandering through the bustling district of Dotonbori, where the glow of neon signs and the lively chatter of strangers kept his mind from dwelling on the silence back home. He had a knack for collecting things—little trinkets, maps, odd souvenirs. Maybe because holding onto something small felt like holding onto a piece of stability.
That’s what led him here, stepping into the quiet cafe bar that felt so strangely out of place in a district that never seemed to sleep. The woman behind the counter greeted him warmly, her voice cutting through the low hum of an old, rusty radio. Futaba took a seat in the corner, a fresh chocolate croissant and dark roast blend set before him. For a brief moment, as he chewed through his meal, the world felt a little less heavy.
But then came the questions.
"Don’t you have things to do?"
“No.”
"Don’t you have a curfew?"
"As if!"
"Where’re your parents?"
"Couldn't tell you."
The back-and-forth continued until the woman finally asked, “What’s your name?”
Futaba paused, brushing crumbs off his overalls before looking up, his gaze sharp yet curious through unwavering lapis hues, a smirk hugging his lips.
"Enmu Futaba!"

General Knowledge
Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?
"You may not possess a pocket knife. Anyone who is found carrying this item will be charged with possession of illegal weaponry at once."
Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription
"Five of them? I can do that—Let's see. . there's paracetamol, your multivitamins, glasses, eyepatches. . oh! and iron supplements! How did I do?"
If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
"Yikes. First things first, I'll be using my radio to call up backup before stepping any further. My priority in this situation is to halt the attack, but the last thing I should do is provoke it any more. I’ll approach with caution, trying to get their attention and command them to stop, keeping my tone firm but calm. I’ll focus on creating space between the inmate and my co-workers, making sure not to escalate the situation. Once I have control over the situation, I’ll restrain my co-workers if necessary, then quickly check on the inmate to assess any injuries and ensure they receive the appropriate medical attention."
What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
"I would try to assess the situation quickly to determine the best way to intervene without putting myself or my co-worker in further danger. Like before, I'll use my radio to call up additional support. If the situation does not improve and my co-worker is still in immediate danger, I would take the necessary action to protect them, whether it’s physically restraining the assailant or using my taser to neutralize the threat."
What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
"My first responsibility is to make sure that the situation is reported to the proper authorities with the most accurate, appropriate, and reliable evidence. Corruption within the police force not only undermines the integrity of the department but also puts the safety of the public at risk. If I believe one of my colleagues are susceptible to this, then I shouldn't delay an investigation."
How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
"Their bribery could result in legal consequences. I am rejecting their offer outright for their finable offense. And in any case, falling for their absurd ploy would mean that I don't have enough respect for myself and my position. Which is of course. . not true in the slightest."
