Activity: I am an active member of the server, consistently dedicating multiple hours each day to gameplay. My engagement spans a variety of roleplay scenarios, including GangRP, where I am currently involved with a gang, as well as SchoolRP, where I frequently take part in various school-related activities. Additionally, I enjoy participating in regular life RP, bringing my character through diverse life experiences. As a result, I maintain a balanced and well-rounded presence within the server, contributing to different aspects of the community regularly.

School Employee Role you are applying for?: Caretaker

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for: The role of a Caretaker involves actively ensuring the safety and well-being of students within the school environment. A significant part of this role involves patrolling the hallways, monitoring student behavior, and making sure everyone is following the school’s rules. As a caretaker, I would be responsible for ensuring that students stay out of trouble, keeping an eye out for any potential conflicts or safety hazards, and intervening when necessary to maintain order and prevent any disruptions. This role requires a proactive approach, where I would actively engage with students to guide them, diffuse tense situations, and maintain a peaceful atmosphere throughout the school. My presence would serve as both a reassuring figure for students and a firm authority figure, ensuring that the school remains a safe and orderly place for everyone.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?: I have two years of dedicated roleplaying experience within SRP. During this time, I have developed a thorough understanding of the server’s rules and mechanics. My experience encompasses a broad spectrum of roleplay scenarios, from gangrp to school related roleplay and everyday life interactions, which has honed my adaptability and creativity within the server’s diverse world. Though I have yet to reach the highest ranks or apply for higher-level roles, my time spent at grade 12 has allowed me to observe and understand the intricacies of RP and what it takes to provide a meaningful and enjoyable roleplay experience.

Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?: Having played as a grade 12 student for the entirety of my time srp I have gained a deep understanding of the experience and the interactions that come with it. However, after spending a considerable amount of time in this role, I am eager to explore new roles and aspects of roleplay and dive into different perspectives. I believe by becoming a caretaker I will be able to broaden my roleplaying horizons and discover a different side of the srp experience.

Situations

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
My character would react by scolding the student for cursing and talking to them to understand why they would have such an outburst, She would then proceed to hand the student a detention slip and let them know that if they continue such behavior SLT would have to get involved

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?: She would instantly jump into action and break the students apart. She would firmly scold them both and let them know such behavior is not tolerated. She would hand all involved a detention slip and send them on their separate ways keeping an eye out in the future for any more conflicts between them

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?: She would start by ensuring the safety of everyone around. She would step in immediately to stop any harmful actions and remove anyone from potential danger. She would then calmly approach the employee and address the situation, making it clear that their behavior is unacceptable and possibly reporting it to the proper authority.

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?: Rye is friendly and respectful, always maintaining a warm and welcoming demeanor towards her colleagues. She enjoys engaging in lighthearted conversations, sharing a laugh, or offering support when someone needs to vent. However, she also deeply values her personal space and quiet moments to recharge. During these times, she quietly enjoys her coffee or meal, taking a moment to unwind from the demands of the day.

She would pull the students apart breaking up the fight with an angry expression, she was upset by the fact the students did not listen when she instructed them to stop fighting. She would pull out two detention slips writing on them and handing them to the students swiftly. With a stern look she instructed the students to disperse

/me She would have a warm smile on her face as the student approached, her presence warm and welcome. She would listen carefully as the student asked her for directions. the area the student was wondering about was nearby, so Rye led the student down the hall to a classroom &f"Here we are! Come to me if you need anything else, and stay out of trouble!"

/me She would notice the teacher looked stressed approaches them, her expression softening with concern. Without a word, she gestures toward the nearby chair, silently offering the teacher a moment to sit and relax. She then grabs a cup of coffee and places it gently on the counter, her eyes meeting the teacher’s in silent support, ready to assist if needed.

Backstory
Rye Chusi was born and raised in Karakura, a city where crime was a constant presence. Growing up in a neighborhood heavily influenced by gang activity, Rye was kept sheltered by her older sisters, who were often involved in the city's darker side. Despite their own struggles, they made sure to protect Rye from the worst of it, keeping her away from the dangerous situations that surrounded them. However, even though she was sheltered, Rye grew up with a strong awareness of the hardships and challenges people faced in the city.

From a young age, Rye developed a passion for helping others. She often found herself intervening in situations at school, stepping in to calm disputes and offering support to classmates in need. Her empathy for those around her, especially her peers, led her to become someone students could rely on when they were facing tough times. She witnessed how many young people, like herself, were affected by the pressures of living in a city with such a turbulent environment. Rye realized that she wanted to make a positive difference in her community, offering the support and guidance she once wished she had during her younger years.

After graduating, Rye decided to stay in Karakura, determined to continue helping the people in the city she called home. She began volunteering at local youth centers, providing counseling and support to troubled teens, and quickly gained the trust of those around her. Her dedication to helping others only grew, as she knew that by being present and offering a listening ear, she could make a real impact on someone’s life. Now, as she looks to become a caretaker at Karakura High, Rye wants to ensure that students feel safe, supported, and have someone to turn to when times get tough. She aims to create a space where students can thrive, away from the dangers of the city and surrounded by people who care.

Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective): Having spent several years working with youth in various capacities, I’ve come to realize that a safe and structured environment is essential for students to thrive, not just academically, but emotionally as well. I’ve seen first-hand how easily the atmosphere of a school can become chaotic if there’s a lack of oversight and guidance. Karakura High School is an exciting place with a lot of energy, but sometimes that energy can lead to disruptions or even risky situations. I want to become a caretaker here because I believe my background in social work, combined with my genuine desire to protect and guide students, will allow me to make a significant impact. I know that by patrolling the halls, addressing conflicts before they escalate, and ensuring students feel supported, I can help maintain the peaceful environment needed for students to focus on their education and personal growth. My calm demeanor, coupled with my passion for helping others, will allow me to be the kind of caretaker who not only maintains order but also ensures that students know they can turn to me if they need guidance or support.

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?: I believe that my combination of formal education and hands-on experience sets me apart from other applicants. While many candidates may have experience in similar roles, I offer a deep understanding of the psychological and emotional needs of students. My background in social work has equipped me with the skills to de-escalate tense situations, manage conflicts, and ensure the well-being of those around me. Additionally, my ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds allows me to foster a supportive and inclusive environment, ensuring that all students feel heard and valued, which is crucial for maintaining a positive and productive school atmosphere.
