No hard feelings! This just doesn’t seem like the right community for child roleplay. SchoolRP is a heavy, intense scene for many. Implementing children into the cruelness of the city wouldnt line up.
@ZaciZach mentioned how people would traumatize them—and I wholeheartedly agree. Children are difficult to piece together overall. And, let’s face it, it would be terribly frustrating. People might not know how children /truly/ act, and that can lead to some.. Unrealistic roleplay situations. For example—people make their 13-15 y/o characters act like literal babies. Unless some of you acted like “goo goo gaa gaa” in middle school, I don’t think having an actual child whitelist would be any better. We are already a little off behaviour-wise. The disruption this would bring to the server is also INSANE! While I, personally, would love to see this work out in a server, SRP is just not the right one. The concept is amazing, but it doesn’t serve benefit.
If you truly struggle with that 25 -> 30 roleplay, I suggest /it roleplay. I know that sounds so dumb, but it can somewhat help to compose a sense of a kid.
/it Little baby Bartholomewing broke out into a flurry of a tantrum.
Or, if you’re going toddler-esque,
/it Bartholomewing waddled across the floor mindlessly, gnawing at the arm of the couch.
There’s just times where you have to accept that concepts may sound delightful at first, but the implementing of it will be nothing but trouble to the other people who share the server experience with you.
Lots of love. Props for taking the time to write the suggestion.
