The Japanese Red Cross:
The Japanese Red Cross is an organization, where volunteers and members take care of natural disasters or the first aid for injured people during event security.



Here you can see a real photo of the Japanese Red Cross (JRC) helping people after a disaster. These disasters normally are:
- Earthquake
- Tsunami
- Flood
- etc.

Also the red cross takes care of various other things like:
- Medical Services
- Blood donation
- Safety Services
- Nursing Education
- and the Junior Red Cross.

What would be required for a red cross:
- Uniforms
- Walkie Talkies to contact each team
- A medical tent for first aid
- etc.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
The Japanese Red Cross will benefit the server and community in many ways:

1. Roleplay Scenario:
- Natural disasters as well as the reaction are now possible.
- Ever wanted to let a speaker box explode mid concert? Now we have people to react as fast as possible.

2. Char Roleplay:
- Now you can learn first aid icly and help people
- You have the possibility to help people without becoming a doctor.
- You can donate your blood for the safety of the city
- You can help by the planning of a event securing

All in all a red cross would benefit the server in many ways with new roleplay Scenario and char Roleplay ideas

As snazzy as this is, it's all done through the EMS faction. With regards to volunteers, there is an internship event that happens every so often that opens opportunities for this!

It's easily something that could be a paramedics job or event based cause there's been events in the past with like 'red cross donations'

Not quite, it works along with the EMS but it helps in more ways like also Providing people with food, sleeping accommodation, etc. in emergencies

Fwiw: Red Cross as an icon/institution is legally not allowed within video games.

While this itself is not a problem (rebrand/label it differently), your roleplay scenarios are usually handled by the police, and respectfully could be traumatic to people OOCly (GangRP you could argue is traumatic RP, however that is a conscious OOC commitment to RP out these experiences.)
For the character suggestions, they all can be done/have been done by groups already within the framework of the server (Blood drives were a thing by the school, learning first aid could be something the nurses/hospital set-up, etc.)

I'm going to put -1, though purely for the aspect of this being its own thing, +1 for the ideas that could be incorporated throughout factions and make connected RP between factions!

I am really happy for the other ideas you wrote down to still achieve the same goal just without the name of the red cross :D

I say this very loosely, but I feel that it'd be a good idea if the red cross were a separate branch of hospital staff. I really like the idea mainly because it opens up explicitly for more server-wide events such as these natural disasters. IN SUMMARY I think this suggestion has a lot of potential if it's done right.
