I think one of my main tips would be if you want to check symmetry, you can take a photo and flip it over the y-axis to mirror the image (or just hold it up to a mirror lol), this will help your eye pick out little errors that it may not have seen before <3
I think also one of the best ways to start if you want to add some dimension into your art would be to do a little research on construction lines and using shapes with volume :)
If you want to look for youtube tutorials i recommend an artist called Bluebiscuits, their tutorials are so chill and informative and dont feel as daunting as some of the other tutorials made by some other 'big names'
