if you've blocked someone, IF I understood correctly it would cloud this person's IC, OOC and LOOC messages

OOC and LOOC messages would be blocked out but IC would be left up to how kimi and the devs would wanna handle it, either shading it like chat focus (not blocking it out fully), leaving it out of the block, or hiding them completely with the option to view them as you would with the other messages

I honestly do not know much about how blocking works on Minecraft, I just knew it existed.

There would def have to be something figured out for the IC aspect of things bc if you HAVE to interact with them ICly, you can ofc try to find IC reason to NOT interact with that person or something, but you can't flat up ignore them for no IC motive reason as it'd be avoidRP. But I think generally this could be a good idea IF theres a way for this to work.

I really don't know how to feel about it. On one side, I would +1 cause I understand that some people really don't want to interact with others, but on the other side, I can see problems in OOC communication for IC situations, and THAT could lead to even more issues.

Imagine you are roleplaying with a person you have blocked due to X situation. You do something that, by accident, is against the rules and could fix it right away. The person can't really communicate with you out of character because you've got them blocked, and based on the person's reaction, it could really head anywhere from there. Knowing that you most likely blocked them for toxicity, I don't think it will end nicely for either of you, and I believe staff will likely be involved in the end.

My example is kinda meh, but I hope you all get the gist of what I'm trying to explain here. It's good, but I don't really buy it cause it could bring more issues.

Neutral: I would be in favor of it only, if as you mentioned, you are given the option to read blocked users LOOC or OOC messages on the spot by clicking on the blocked message. Should it be otherwise, it has the potential to result in some nasty situations, specially in rule breaking scenarios or necessary communication.

For people who are against this because they think it will be used during petty arguments, I want to make a point about how I know people who genuinely despise each other within this server. Sometimes real bad stuff happens and it is okay if you do not want to see a person at all.
