What's the title of your suggestion?: Poster Scaling

What's your suggestion?:
Due to spaces in certain apartments, I feel like it would be beneficial to have a poster that can be rescaled with the chisel, so that it doesn't have to be too big and a bit more realistic, one of my characters' lives in a shared apartment with two others and I recent got a Saja Boys Poster which is too big to be put anywhere that can be viewed and I feel like it would be nicer to have them be able to be scaled to a smaller size for more visibility.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
When it comes to those who like to have detail in their rooms or even their living spaces, something like posters is a fun and inviting perk when it comes to roleplaying because it tells another character that the specific character with the poster likes what the poster is themed around, which gives options for conversations and other roleplay interactions.

+1 I'm honestly really open to this suggestion or to at least make more of the readily available posters more able to be customized with the furniture chisel to be scalable. I'm sure that this can enhance some builds also.

There is literally no reason to say no to this imo, let us use scale on certain furnitures!!

+1

I'd like to hear the reasons for a -1 if possible. So far, I don't see how this could be a problem in SRP. Thought I'd like to know if this could affect performance?

hey guys, stay respectful, everyone can have their opinion, here's why it could be a -1 :)

this is a cool idea if it is actually limited to posters, with that being said- this would be yet another cog in the machine that would have to be kept up to date when new posters are added, and is not realistic / future proof because of that IMO.

being able to scale every furniture item universally is prone to being abused, also not a fan. (there's a reason scale why is limited to senior staff)

no, unless ur on a super toaster

Honestly, I completely understand that. I didn't really consider the possibility that something might go wrong, so for that I apologize. I would also like to state that my post is primarily intended to explore what I'd like to see possible. I know there will be mixed opinions, everyone is always welcome to have their own <3 (for all lol). I do hope something like this is possible in the future.

+1 I can agree with this, because having bigger posters sometimes gives you a big struggle when decorating a certain room in your apartment/penthouse because it takes up a lotta space. You'd have to reorganize some things when you realize that it wouldn't fit in your room, and it's pretty weird to see a GIANT poster taking the whole space in your room.

-1

I think having to resizing posters would be a rather lengthy process, plus it's also important to keep in mind the size of the posters as they are usually displayed in shops and such.

I get what you mean, I'm guessing it's to update the poster scale and that the posters don't have a scale to be able to move it down since it's three blocks tall

Oh hey! That's my poster! :D

+1 if possible. Perhaps let players only be allowed to side DOWN an object to avoid complications? The feature's there... I saw a massive office chair once! What if I wanted my 16K TV tuned down to a... 480p TV?!

Wall furniture already has limits with the chisel feature; you can't bring them back or forth. So perhaps the scale option can be kept solely for wall furniture, too?
